My home warranty dispatched J the plumber to my home to repair a leak at my gate valve where the city water goes into my house. Initially J seemed knowledgeable, he did the estimate and sent it to my home warrant for approval. After some back and forth with his estimates the home warranty agreed on the price and J went to work. He started the work and halfway through left without letting me know. I sent him a text and he replied saying he had an emergency drain to do and would return to finish up the job. Prior to leaving abruptly he disconnected my irrigation pipe from the gate valve rendering my sprinkler system useless. Days go past and no response from my numerous calls and text as well my warranty company calling him.

Long story short J abandoned the job. My home warranty company had to call another plumber to finish the job. Which they did under 30 minutes. Weeks have passed and no contact from J.

I would not recommend him and warn others to stay clear.

Have plumbing problems. This is the man to call. He is very thorough and is very prompt. He can fix any problem you have with your plumbing. When he says he will be there at a certain time, he is there at that time. And he is very flexible with you on times.
The quality of work is the best. He is worth the value. And he is always honest with what needs to be done. I have used him atleast 5 times.

BEWARE OF THIS GUY! If I can give a 0, I will. He came over to snake the drain. It was supposed to be guaranteed for 90 days according to the invoice. It lasted two days. When I called, he said he will be over. He missed two appointments and did not have the decency to call my tenant. My tenant wasted two days waiting for him. Then I read his reviews. This guy is a fraud. The only way to get my money back is to take him to small claims court. Once he gets your money, you are on your own.

This person was supposed to come on Tuesday between 4-6 and he messaged at 5:30 that he would come between 6-7. My tenants were waiting and this guy doesn't even have the courtesy to let me know that he cannot make it. Fast forward to Sunday and he still haven't messaged. Absolutely terrible and his reviews are probably fake. Please don't trust this business and reading other reviews it exactly matches the pain I'm going through. Being a dad of 2, on a father's day I have to go and fix the issue. Business like that cannot honor what they say or at-least communicate so we can find alternatives should never exist. But apparently we have lots of them these days.

My kitchen faucet suddenly leaked with an inch of water in the cabinet a couple of days ago. Due to difficulties shown in installing my faucet by my previous two contractors, I was really worried not knowing where to find a qualified plumber.

I unexpectedly met J who was with a sales person when I sought help in a store. On hearing my issues, he felt I needed help ASAP. Flooding with a pool of water needs to be controlled immediately before it causes other issues. J came to my home afterwards to prevent further soaking and to prep the area ready for the next day when he would come to do the job.

The rate he charged me was low, so his intention was truly to help me and not on making money. He would make so much more if his time was spent on someone else's project.

He was very detailed working on my issues because I have three other filters connected to the system. He also thoroughly cleaned all reusable parts, and did other things some people would not do. I always hire help for all my needs, so in general I know how people work. Lately I even had to pay twice when a contractor did not fix my lighting correctly. J's goal was to make sure my kitchen would be problem free for the longest possible time. He also said to make sure call him if I have questions or problems even when late at night. I appreciate as well that he has a company with employees, but put himself forward to help me instead of using his employees.

J is knowledgeable, pleasant and professional. He definitely cares and does his best for customers. My neighbor who happened to meet him, felt the same way too.

With his expertise, plus a great attitude and customer care, he can handle any plumbing issues that might possibly be too difficult for another person. I highly recommend J The Plumber to anyone. You will not be disappointed. Thanks so much, J, and best wishes to your business and your family.

J and his crew redid our 40 year old mobile home's shower! I had been wanting a rainfall showerhead forever, and J made it happen. No more leaky faucets for us!

He is very thorough about his work and is a very great man to speak to. He has a lot of cool interests, and sometimes we would just chat for a bit after he finished his work for the day because he was so interesting to talk with.

And of course, we love our new shower!

I have used J's service twice so far in three years, both times for rooter service, and both the times the quality of his service has been very good. He is very prompt in responding to messages/call, quotes a good price, and shows up fast.

I did a big mistake giving J THE PLUMBER my house's copper repipe job. (the job wasn't incomplete and my house plumbing and walls were open and in a mess when he left). The job was incomplete, done incorrectly.

Fast forward 45 days, I had to redo copper repipe for my house all over again. This time I found the right guys for the work.

Please note, my new contractor checked and told me HE IS NOT LICENSED He also asked me to sue him. (which I'm not doing since I do not have the time).
J THE PLUMBER is NOT licensed.

Also, he took 10 days to do a lousy job which my other plumbing contractor finished in 8 hours i.e the new guys finished the entire copper repipe with city inspection (with 6 people working) in a single day.

All in all, waste of money, time and the trauma of having to deal with an unreliable, unprofessional guy for over 10 days and having my house in a mess all along and the guys showing up at odd hours at my place.. what a pain !

I DO NOT recommend J THE PLUMBER.

Jay was quick to respond. Even though he got late at another work, he came to fix our bathtub shower leak the same day in the evening. This was a few months back and we have not had the problem since then. We liked his work and will call him again for any plumbing needs.
