Unfortunately there is no negative or Zero stars on Yelp which is what a company like this deserves.
In short, they are rude, unprofessional, liars and their main approach is to not do the job assigned to them and the once they did were of such inferior quality that we needed to hire a handyman to get them corrected. If your home warranty company assigns this contractor for your job please request them to assign another one.
They don't pick up the call when you call and leaving messages will not get them call you back either.
So please don't get any job done with them.

These people are CROOKS! I went through American Home Shield Warranty Company to schedule an appointment for a leak and these people called me and asked if they could be there in 15 minutes, to which I said no. I was at work and 15 minutes was not a reasonable amount of time. I told them I could be there in one hour. Well low and behold they sent someone in 15 minutes anyway "allegedly" and then said that they could not wait for me to arrive. They marked the job as completed and billed the warranty company. Based off of all of the other reviews, this place is a complete and total sham and needs to be reported to the attorney general.
I called in and spoke with an old woman that said her name is Kathy and she is the RUDEST person you will encounter. She is the person who does the scheduling and seems to be a major player in this fraudulent business. Do yourself a favor and RUN far away from this company. They need to be OUT OF BUSINESS and in jail from all of the reports of scamming people!

Ronald Parks just came out to check the water heater for the second time in 2 weeks. The first time he came out, he told me there was no leak and that it must be coming from the roof. After i pointed out that it had not rained in a week and the fact that my roof was in the process of being replaced on that day, he quickly diagnosed the drain plug as the issue and considered it fixed.
I called them back out because there is water in the pan AGAIN. He just left. His diagnosis this time is that the water in the pan was due to moisture and not a water heater leak. After he left, my son and I went into the attic. We were able to find and record the leak coming from the water heater. This company will do everything it can to help the warranty company avoid paying a claim.
I called the warranty company and demanded they send someone more competent so that I wouldn't have to do their job for them.
AVOID THIS COMPANY!

I agree with the other customers; this is the worse service that anyone could receive. She is rude. The AHS representative even stated that she could not speak with her and suggested I call to schedule an appointment. It's evident that everyone has an issue with J& K plumbing. They are removed from my service lists. NO STARS

I needed a plumber quick due to a broken valve on my house that turns over to new owners in 3 days.
I called, they gave me the 4 hr window and was there in an hour. Cathy, who answered the phone couldn't have been any nicer. They fixed the problem, I paid, and everyone's happy.
I'll use them as often as necessary.

They were the worst company to deal with. They don't answer the phone and it took 2 days for them to call for an appointment through our home Warrenty. The tech comes out to look at the problem and finds the issue but not able to fix it. He said he would have to go to office and discuss what to do and it could be a week or 10 days to get back and suggested to get a cash back option. I called a plumber he came same day and fixed it in a couple of hours. DO NOT use this company.

The WORST company I have ever dealt with. They were racist. They did not want to talk to my mother in law that spoke a bit of English. He didn't even want to hear her as she was trying to tell him I'm one minute away. I stopped his van outside and he didn't even want to give me the time of day. I called the office and they said you are in US and need to speak English. If that is a prerequisite, they need to communicate that ahead of time. They don't dare because that will go on there record. WHAT A SHAME!

Home Shield sent them, I wished I would never dealt with them. So bad, we had to get a second opinion and contradicted everything they said on the coverage we could get. Sad there is people like that.

the lady who answers the call is a really rude... realy run from this company. The call and say he will be there is 15 what if your in the shower and missed the call. The left my tenant with cloged sink becuase she was a few minutes late. they go unto next job. 15 min is not enough time the Lardy there is a real witch and they left a bill

J & K Plumbing is hands-down the worst company I have ever tried to work with!!! They were sent to my home after scheduling a warranty request through American Home Shield. I have had problems with this company in the past though, so I don't know why I was so surprised to have the same type of experience with them again. The time that I am referring to J & K Plumbing denied a claim at my house concerning problems with our water heater. However, the company that was sent to my house by American Home Shield in that instance for a second opinion, told me that my problem was covered under my AHS warranty, and they corrected the issue for me with no problems.
Going back to my current experience. I now have a water leak at my house. This was verified by the technician from J & K Plumbing while he was on the site today after he looked at the main water meter out by the street. However, rather than even coming into the house to try to see where it might be coming from, he left when I told him that I had an unpleasant conversation with Kathy over the phone on my way to the appointment from work. During that conversation with Kathy (J & K's office lady), she told me that the technician had been waiting for 5 minutes at the house, and that "if I was only 3-4 minutes away from the house" like I told her, that they could wait the extra 3-4 minutes, "she guessed." Long story short, as I said, the technician refused to come into the house and left saying that they would call American Home Shield to have a different company come out to our house for the leak. Every time I have dealt with this company they have been rude, impolite, non-courteous, and down-right unprofessional! I am not sure how a company that repeatedly demonstrates this level of unprofessionalism remains in business, but I hope that whoever reads this review will steer clear from this company in the future to avoid any problems like what I have experienced with them.
