I'm surprised that there are reviews that are less than 5 stars. We could not be happier with IT Landes. When we move to the area and bought our house, first started with oil delivery. We then had our oil furnace serviced. I have to say that the first technician was not very thorough and missed some things. We asked for someone else. Another technician came out immediately. He was great and we have had him back every year. He is thorough and leaves the house just as he found it. No company/person is perfect and things happen. When it does, if they listen and correct the issue, I will absolutely give them another chance. We then had some plumbing work done and neither job was a simple task - we have an old house and there is not a lot a space. The work was impeccable! It is so clear he was proud of every aspect of his work and cares about every detail. Very impressed. Other companies are just concerned with getting it done as fast as possible, even if that means cutting corners. I agree the price may be slightly higher than other companies, but you get what you pay for. IT Landes does quality work and their prices reflect that. Good work deserves a good wage.

Matt Z. and Matt F. completed a install/replacement of our 26 year old HVAC system. They were courteous, professional, informative and complete in all aspects of the installation and left my basement cleaner than when they arrived. I would highly recommend this company and these two professionals for any HVAC needs -- outstanding!

I had IT Landes as one of three vendors, to provide me with a system solution and cost information to replace a failing system on my home. Frank came to my home on time, spent time evaluating all of my needs and proposed a great solution. IT Landes costs however were a bit high, compared to my current vendor, because of some ""Returning Customer Incentives"" The price difference was not huge, but big enough for me to stay with my current HVAC provider. I would have trusted Frank and IT Lades' solution with this purchase if things had been different.

Excellent Service! We knew our furnace and AC were on their last legs, so obtained quotes from three local companies to replace them. The quotes were several thousand dollars apart. IT Landes were not only the cheapest, but we also felt the most comfortable with their sales person (""project estimator""), Frank. He was not at all pushy, the pricing was straightforward and well explained.
Fast forward 1.5 years, one AC repair and the furnace suddenly died in the middle of winter. Frank was back out the day we called. No surcharge for emergency service, no deposit required, and the new quote was actually a few bucks less than previously. Installation was scheduled for 2 days time, so Frank brought us two portable space heaters to keep us warm in the meantime! The installation team did a great job, (mostly) kept the rest of the house clean, and the finished job looks very tidy and professional. Best of all the new HVAC is quiet, efficient and the house is very comfortable.
One note: I wouldn't recommend going with the Carrier-branded thermostat that Landes recommended. It doesn't get good reviews online and there are plenty of other better ones out there. We chose the Ecobee 3, but there is also the Nest and others from Honeywell.

I used these guys several times and was always pleased with their professionalism and the quality of their work. I recently contacted them to replace a toilet and repair a sink. I spoke to JR from the plumbing department, he asked me to send him photos of the work (which I did) and then...radio silence. I've called numerous times and left several messages and the guy has not returned my calls. If he doesn't want the work I wish he would just tell me.

OK - a couple hours after posting this review I received an email from the owner. He apologized all over the place and promised to make it right and they did. JR the plumbing supervisor called me and apologized and they took care of everything very quickly and professionally, just like they always do. I will absolutely, 100% use IT Landes again for my next plumbing job because I know that the job will be done correctly and professionally and they stand by their work.

I purchased my home a year ago and the former owner recommended IT Landes. I initially used IT Landes for fuel oil delivery and heater maintenance. I then decided to go with them for new AC installation. AC installation was a disaster. One of the crew fell through our master bath ceiling which they needed to come back and repair. About a week or so later, a huge amount of water started flowing through the AC ducts onto our floors. Tech came out to look at it and said condensation fan was running too fast and lowered speed to solve problem. A day later, the side bedroom ceiling collapsed. When the head tech came out, they discovered that they had ""forgotten"" to install the condensation pipe to allow the system to drain properly. Company did fix the issues and was timely in doing so but it was all very inconvenient and should not have occurred to begin with. Also, they seem to have inadequate computer systems. They had issues setting up automatic maintenance plan payments via credit card and my final budget fuel bills for the season seemed to have disappeared and I got a call the other day that I'm passed due. I sent a check based on phone detail without an official statement. I then decided to use someone cheaper for my fuel oil delivery this season and was told that cancelling the fuel delivery automatically cancelled the heater maintenance plan and I should have referred to the brochure to note this. Not worth the hassle. Look elsewhere for better service.

We just sold our home and the buyers sent their inspector to ensure things were in good working order. The inspector took pictures of our AC duct work and said there were numerous leaks, despite our having no complaints about our system. I called IT Landes to repair, and they sent Frank out. He went up into the attic, where our duct work is, and took pics. Yes, ONE duct was disconnected and was leaking air, and he reconnected that. However, the other ducts simply had tears in the outside plastic (the insulation was showing) but were otherwise perfectly intact - no leakage! He was able to tape over the tears to restore the duct aesthetically. But the best part is he did this at no charge. He even brought down an extra piece of duct work lying on the attic floor to explain how the tear in the plastic DID NOT signify leakage. Well, that explains why I sometime find our AC TOO cold.... aside from a small leak, it was operating normally, contrary to the inspector's report.

I needed 2 faucet heads replaced. the originals were welded onto the water line. I don't have enough experience or the equipment to remove the old faucets. I called IT Landes as a recommendation from my mom. She uses them for her plumbing work regularly. Booked a guy to come out to give an estimate online. He came out 2 days later. Customer service over the phone was great, and the service tech was great. Was able to get the job done in under an hour. Highly recommended.

I had a leak in my shower and I called another plumber who wanted to charge me 700.00 ... I thought that was to expensive so I called Landes and they beat the price by half! The service was excellent and my shower drain is fixed.

This is the worst company in the history of the world! Get your heating services anywhere but here. In January, I had IT Landes come service my boiler, a week later the extension tank blew up-- almost killing my girlfriend. Okay, so maybe that wasn't their fault, still it was rather suspicious. Then in February 2014, they cut off my oil delivery ( I was on automatic delivery) on the coldest day of the year, in the coldest winter in years-- without any warning. They said there was a past due of $700..00. I checked my records and saw I paid them $216.62 in January, the only bill I ever received from them. I never got the 700.00 oil bill. None of my mail, Fed-Ex or other packages have been getting through because of the snow. Even so, as a loyal customer, who pays my bills with in 30 days, you'd think IT Landes would inform me that I had only paid the service bill and not the oil bill, before cutting off my oil delivery-- leaving me to freeze to death. It Landes is truly inhuman. These people suck.
