Called Landis to replace my garbage disposal with a Badger 1XL I purchased from Lowes.The plumber who by his own admission stated this was only his second installation on his own. He replaced the disposal and watched him push hard on the drain that is looked like the shape of a fat egg instead of being round.
When he tried it, the drain leaked a bit so he tried reinstalling it and used a lot of plumbers putty to seal the leak but it kept dripping so he said to put a drip pan under the sink to catch the water. He claimed the brand new right out of the box disposal was defective. He said he could sell me the exact same one he had in the truck for $179.00 ( paid $99.00 at Lowes.
Had another plumber from Landis come out and tried to fix the drip with no results.
You would think if you are going to pay a professional to do a job it would be cone correct. I think this is a shady company only after your money and just makes excuses when they cam't fix a simple leak. I will never use them again and plan on letting all my friends and go on all my social media to let people know they need to really research if they need a plumber with a good solid reputation and honor and pride in their work.
Wife called to complain and was told we would have to pay 79.00 just to have them come out again.as the saying goes, trick me once shame on aysou, trick me twice shame on me.
I wouldn' t even give them 1 star.
There has to be an honest and honorable plumber out there, but defiantly not with Landis.

Always the best service. I have used IT Landes since 2004. They did all of my plumbing and heating after a major fire. Every thing was beautiful, office staff very cordial and efficient and prices are good. They even will come out at night. I have had Dean M. for many years for my heating and air services and he is knowledgeable, proactive, very neat and does a SUPER job.

Our toilet overflowed and flowed and flowed. I called it Landis at 1:00pm they were at my door around 1:30pm. Turns out our sewer exhaust pipe was raised and rocks got in and clogged everything up. Duane was very helpful and informative. He ran back to get vac and back up. Cleared the blockage and told us to be vigilant and keep any eye on pipe to make sure it doesn't rise up again. Was it something I could have fixed myself? Probably. But I never would have known where to look and used flashlight to see rocks. Very helpful and worth the $

Excellent timely service. Our tankless water heater periodically stopped coming on a few months ago. After trying to get other companies to fix or replace it and getting delays and the runaround, IT Landes promptly evaluated what was needed and two days later had it very professional replaced.

In May of 2019, we had a new HVAC system and programmable thermostat installed. During the summer, the AC worked great. When we got into fall and had to turn the heat on, I called to have someone come out just to check if we had things operating correctly and to help with the programming of the thermostat. They sent a repairman out within a few days. He checked heater and then when asked to help with the thermostat, he knew nothing about the particular one we had installed and stated we would learn together. After tapping on the thermostat several times, he asked if I had a manual. I told him I would print the User's Guide from the internet and figure it out myself. A few weeks later, after I could not get thermostat to set correctly, so I called their office. I explained to the woman who answered what was going on and she put me into a voice mail of Nathan. I left a message and asked to be called back. I never received a phone call.
VERY DISAPPOINTING! Very Disappointed in their customer service.

They installed a carrier heater and air conditioner 4 years ago.
The heater never worked good. The heater did not have enough heating
capacity. You smells gas leaked odour. Our unit feels cold.

When our furnace stopped working, I called several contractors. One said he could come a week from then, the other said they couldn't help at all because they were too busy. IT Landes had Zach come over within several hours to diagnose the problem. We had a water buildup in exhaust pipes caused by poor installation a few years ago. He came back in 4 days to repair and replace some pipes which solved the problem. I am very pleased with IT Landes and will certainly plan to use them in the future. They were very responsive and thorough in solving our problem!

Don't know why the company was referred to us for a bathroom remodel. The guys that came to do the demolition & rerouting of the plumbing had no idea how to finish the floor to make it stable for the showerpan. The showerpan didn't adhere properly & had to be taken out. So we lost the $760 cost for that & were charged $1,700 to put down a different base that wasn't what we wanted. They never repaired the drywall that was removed during the demolition & used the wrong kind of screws on the cement board for the shower. The tile guy had to take it all down & put it up with the correct screws. Do not use these people for remodeling.

I have done business with IT Landes since the 1970's. In the past, they have always provided a good service. Recently, I T Landes has chosen to FORCING customers to purchase a maintenance agreement. I called today to get my heater cleaned like I have done dozens of times in the past. I was told they would not service me unless I purchased their plan. I T Landes use to be a good reputable company but not any more with these tactics they now employ.

IT Landes was a great company until they became employee owned. Since that happened the focus has been on making money (overcharging) and not on the customer or their happiness. My word of advice to IT Landes is to focus on customer appreciation and happiness and the income will come naturally. Customers will gladly pay and you will make more by taking that direction.

We had several recent incidents of bad service and overcharging and have finally decided to take our business elsewhere. We have placed several calls to their management and it seems like they are very overwhelmed. The latest was a request to cancel our service. Two weeks later the service is still active and the manger simply forgot to tell the person to cancel.

We certainly hope you get your act together and if you do we might come back and use you again, but for now we are taking our business elsewhere.
