Excellent response time. Friendly, knowledgeable. Called ahead of arrival. Fast, courteous service. Fair price. Highly recommended.

Our air conditioner stopped working during the recent heat wave. I called to schedule service and Wayne arrived as promised. He identified the problem quickly, repaired my AC, and left the area cleaner than when he started. We have also used Ishii and Son for plumbing repairs and have always been satisfied.

If you don't mind paying top dollars for labor/parts I would recommend. I will personally never use again. Minimum service charge for a call is $160 and only includes 30 minute labor. If he does not have part in truck and has to pick-up, another service charge for $160. Comfort Master minimum service charge is $98 for 45 minutes labor and they will only charge you one time even if they have to come back the next day.
All said in done, I paid $897 which included a 10% labor discount for replacement of a control board in furnace. The invoice did not break down part/labor price, but he told me part was around $500. So I basically paid around $400 for one hour of labor...should of hired a attorney instead at that rate...LOL.

I agree with Sandra B. Ishii and Sons is an outstanding company. It is very hard to find a company who is willing and able to repair an old (1929) furnace. Wayne came to our house promptly, fixed our problem quickly and for a very reasonable price. We will definitely call him again!

I Called Ishii & Son about my electric furnace. The furnace was working at the time but was not shutting off two days earlier. When I called Wayne, I told him it was working but he said he would come by and check it out. My sister met him at my condo because I wasn't able to be there. Wayne replaced two working components that may or may not have needed replacing (the furnace was working fine). I asked him for the original parts he replaced. He said that he took them but would drop them off and never did. Wayne also vacuumed and cleaned the furnace fan and motor, which I didn't authorize or ask him to do. The final bill was $535 for work that wasn't authorized or even necessary! Needless to say I was livid! I would never recommend or use their services again.

Call them up to have a new water shut off valve put on. Wayne gave me a bid and
I accepted it. Tried numerous times calling him to get an update. Left messages
on his voice. Nada. I guess this guy is good if you can him to return your calls or get
a hold of him. Wayne needs to take a course in PR101.

This is a litle late!
My hot water heater broke in March of this year. After getting an estimate from Bonney Heating & Air and then being told I would have to wait an extra day because the tech who gave the estimate was off; I found Ishii & Son to call. He came out that afternoon to give me an estimate as I had to get approval from my Home Warranty company. He actually saved me $300 over what Bonney estimated because they said there was an addition to putting an output valve; however he located where they had placed our output vave and just needed to dig it out some so that it could release pressure. I called & got approval; called him back that same afternoon and arranged for him to do the work the next day. He was thorough and helped us with the city permit process. I highly recommend this company and will keep him on my list of good companies to call for repair work.

I have used Ishi and Son Plumbing and Heating in Sacramento for plumbing repairs for over 20 years. They always do excellent work and are very warm and friendly to work with.

Excellent company!!! i have a main water pipe broke due to tree root cracked it. I called many plumbers and he seems very honest and professional. So i decided to use him, and turned out he is great. Get the job done on time and so far it works fine. The most important thing is he is very honest for the cost and hrs that he might spend to get it fix. Well exceed my expectation. So if you have a job, call him up and you will happy to have this guy taking care of your plumbing need.

The BEST service and FAIR priced repair on my furnace/cooling unit I've ever had. Wayne was honest and explained why the problem occurred, and repaired. I had called and used other services large or small in the past, and had the same routine. ""Free estimates"" - but if you don't let them do the repair the charge for coming out is lost. I've had Companies that asked if my home was a rental (so they could charge the owner more since he can deduct it). One charged me $325 to change a capacitor on the outside cooling unit, which he figured out as soon as he got there.
Most important, Wayne did not gouge me on the price, as it was a hot day in Sacto and I probably would have paid someone else what they asked to fix it!
I definitely will use them in the future.
