As a business professional, I began my journey in construction later in life after getting married and buying my first home. I didn’t step into the trades until I was 27, when we sought to renovate our kitchen and hired a contractor while on our honeymoon. We returned two weeks later to find nothing completed. In three months, we achieved a lovely kitchen, but some small details were left undone. For our next project, we took matters into our own hands, which led us to start flipping high-end homes. We flipped three of our own homes, regularly doubling or tripling their values before moving forward. We managed this alongside our regular jobs; my wife is an Office Manager at a medical practice, and I worked as a Logistics Trade Compliance Manager until I launched my company in 2008. My wife supports my business as much as she can, and she is the voice on our message service. She is also the voice in my head.
