Just over a year ago, Daniel came out and fixed a dishwasher installation that a different plumber had messed up. He did a lovely job, charged me less than the first plumber did, and after more than year of use, none of his work has never leaked.
Today a service tech from the dishwasher company came out to replace a bad motor thingy. (Manufacturing defect.) When he pulled my dishwasher out from under the cabinet, he said ""Wow, whoever installed this did a nice job!""
And I was like ""Ok, sure."" (I mean, *are* there degrees of excellence in hoses that don't leak? Either they leak or they don't. These are the kind that don't leak.)
And the service tech said ""No, really, they did a *really* nice job. Look at these hoses, and the length here, and this over here... Usually when I pull out a dishwasher, it's a mess underneath. This is just really, really nice. Whoever did this for you, they did a good job.""
Not being a drainage hose enthusiast, I'm still not clear on why *exactly* the guy who's in my kitchen right now is so impressed, but what I am clear about is that the guy in my kitchen is a professional dishwasher tech and he IS impressed with Daniel's work. That part I can understand.

Came on a weekend. I stated I thought I needed a clean out and was prepared to pay. Nope, Daniel said he could just clear the clog. $99 later we're done. Super honest. I was really pleased.

Thanks for fixing the backed up sinks at work today!! You guys were quick to respond and saved the day!!! Literally!! We can't work without our sinks!! Thanks so much!! Didn't break the bank either!!

We had a stubbornly plugged up kitchen sink on a Sunday afternoon. Someone from our Nextdoor group online recommended Independent Plumbing. My husband called and was told someone would be out within two hours. Before that time was up, Daniel rang our bell. It only took him twenty minutes to diagnose and clear our problem. And then only charged us $109. (I had expected to pay much more on a Sunday.)
My husband mentioned to him that I had done a little Yelp research on the company before we called and that there was only one - ONE - unhappy customer. Turns out that customer was unhappy because there was no easy fix to her problem, so it cost her the high end of the estimate rather than the low estimate. She was even told what she could do to keep the problem from happening again. Apparently she chose to ignore that sound advice, because she had to call them back out to fix the same problem again. Which they did. For FREE. She should take her poor review down because it isn't completely honest.
So, ""Well done"" Independent Plumbing. I would not hesitate to recommend you!

These guys are my go to guys. If they don't call you back as soon as you expect, call them back. They might be busy. I have yet to have been disappointed. I have been using them the last 4-5 years. They stand by their work and their warranty. I have a chronic root problem affecting my sewer line so I have them come out at least once a year to clear it out. I've had two situations that required ""warranty"" work of the original service and they handled the issue fairly, without expense to me. Great guys. I no longer call the ""Franchise"" services, which have exorbitant add on fees. Thanks Daniel for your service!

Daniel was very disappointing to work with. We texted back and forth, he quoted me a price, never connected me again to follow up. I texted multiple times, called, no response.
I would not use this company. Very unreliable.

Needed the sewer lines cleaned out due a backup that flooded laundry room. Called and they were out within the hours they said they would. Did the job, no more water backing up and we have a happy household. Fast, good pricing, and through work.

I've hired independent plumbing many times, and without fail, they are prompt, fast, courteous, and hard working!
The best example I can think of--and there are many--was when they came out after another plumber screwed up my kitchen faucet. (My wife hired the other guy; she hires Independent now.) Independent came two hours after I called on Wednesday at 2 pm to save my kids from going without water.

I called at 5:30pm and got Dan on the phone. He quickly dispatched 2 guys who lived in my area of rental to come fix a back up in the bathroom that caused leaking into the basement. He said two guys were needed for roof access which for my 1920s home is the only way to fix it. I received a text approximately 41 minutes later that it was fixed $400 later... Job was done but I hardly feel it was $400 worth :(
Let's do the math. $10 per minute... Eek.

The valve behind my washer sprung a leak and would not stop when turned off. Of course I was about to go into full meltdown mode! After getting BS from several different plumbers, Daniel answered his phone. I explained the problem and he was able to walk me through it. Not only was it a super easy fix (I'm slightly embarrassed) he was very friendly and clearly not out to take advantage of this girl to make a buck.
I own an older duplex and we occasionally have our issues. So far I haven't found anyone trustworthy enough to keep on speed dial. If any problems arise in the future, I'm definitely calling him back, as well as recommending him to anyone who is in need. Thanks again!
Praise to the Littles!
