I called Independent Plumbing and another company to compare estimates for installing a toilet and replacing a shower faucet cartridge. I spoke to Brianna who was very helpful and asked her manager to call me regarding a question I had about the flange. Kristi called within an hour or so and answered all of my novice questions and educated me so much because this is all new to me. And she gave me a flat price for the toilet install when the other company wouldn't so I had a better feeling about going with them.

Then the other company came out for the estimate and quoted a ridiculous price for both services which I thought would happen so I figured out how to do the cartridge on my own (thanks YouTube because it's really easy and only cost me $20!) and Independent charged a reasonable price for the toilet install. Jesse is such an excellent company representative. He arrived within the time window and was a consummate professional. He was happy to explain things to me so between him and Kristi I've learned so much and truly appreciate that new knowledge. Although I hope to not need a plumber for a long time, if/when I do I will be calling them again for sure!

I am very pleased with the service provided by Independent Plumbing, Heating & Air. Roots had invaded the main drain for my house. Two young men (sorry that I did not get their names) came out and cleared the drain. Very professional and friendly. Strangely, the same thing happened to my girlfriend's drain in Arden Arcade the day before. She hired a firm near her house to clear her drain. For the same service, she paid significantly more than I did. I highly recommend Independent Plumbing, Heating & Air. Great service and reasonable prices.

My washing machine's grey water was backing up into my kitchen sink, the fix was to snake the pipe. The two gentlemen that showed up were very nice, courteous and professional. They got the job done and left everything clean and tidy after they were done. Thank you independent Plumbing.

I have paid Daniel about $3,000 for two jobs at my house. Everytime I have had difficulties getting a response to my emails or calls. The first time, right after I bought the house, I asked him to replace all the underground pipes that were broken or near the end of life. He said he did. So I was disappointed that about a year later when I learned another pipe needed to be replaced. This was the second time I paid for kitchen lines. So when the pressure for the kitchen sink faucet dropped dramatically in recent weeks, I was frustrated. I contacted Independent Plumbing. No response. Contacted them again. No response. I don't think this company is unethical. I do think they will say anything - when they actually return your messages.

These guys were great! We had a pipe underneath our kitchen sink that cracked and was leaking everywhere. We put in a service request through our apartment management late in the evening and they called the next day to schedule an appointment. They were able to take care of us pretty quick. After we scheduled the appointment, we had a pipe in our bathroom break. They were able to fix both in one quick visit. The plumber not only replaced the broken pipes, but replaced the aging drain (in the kitchen) that caused the problem in the first place. The best part? He was professional, courteous, and (more importantly) didn't wake my sleeping baby. I HIGHLY recommend them.

Although Independent plumbing was prompt to arrive as requested when we had our sewer line clogged, the work performed was not up to code. They installed a clean out in the back yard but did not properly cap it off and it was installed in the middle of the yard becoming a hazard in itself.

Unfortunately, they will not answer the phone or return my calls to explain what they did.
