Independent Plumbing is run by an exceptional group of people! We lost our hot water heater on Christmas morning. And because our hot water heater is part of our home heating system -- we have a hydronic air handler -- we woke up to a cold house and no hot water. The next day we called the manufacturer, State, and they gave us three outfits that could handle the warranty work. The first place, a big name in plumbing in Sacramento, wanted to charge $300 for the first half hour of a service call and would not provide an estimate on the job time. The second place wouldn't even give us a price estimate. Both places seemed to be taking full advantage of ""holiday pricing."" Independent Plumbing was totally different. They charged only their flat, non-holiday rate, which saved us hundreds of dollars. They also found a way to get the manufacturer's part locally instead of having it shipped, which meant we had heat and hot water a day earlier than expected. Finally, they came to the house twice for a total of about four hours (working well past 6pm without complaint) to get the problem identified and resolved once and for all. Daniel and his team were great. If we have another plumbing problem, our first call will be to Independent Plumbing.

I had a plummer from your company come to my home yesterday and fix my toilet in about 7 minutes. He was very nice, and I was not in a very good mood. I had put up with my toilet for 4 days, before it got fixed, The plummer was great, but it was me that was not being like I should have been. I apologize to any one in the office and the guy that came here.

We found these guys and after getting a few estimates to insert a gas line to the stove, they quoted us a more then half off the other places we contacted. Daniel was helpful and other places said it would not pass code if we didn't do the pipe from the meter but daniel saw otherwise as we could just run it from the heater and it passed code. Saved us about $1000 right away. His workers were quick to install it then they also came back and inserted the stove and ordered the city inspection. Later they inserted our toilets at a discount price since we did a lot of business with them and changed the tubing. Lastly they changed the water valves to the washing machine. Great service at an affordable price.

Gino just came out and fixed an issue I had with sewage coming up in my front yard. Very professional. Fixed it quickly and made sure my sinks, toilets, and shower were all running smoothly. He even took a look at my sink that had been running slowly for some time. Fixed the sink in a few minutes like it was nothing. Great service!

Daniel and his team are amazing! They are not only cost effective they tell you everything up front. No hidden costs no "" well I may need to add this or change that"". Good honest quality work. It is so nice to see an owner of a business come out and physically be at each and every job. We were very lucky to find Independent Plumbing when we purchased our house. Daniel and Justin came out did the inspection gave us the estimate within a day which is way faster than anyone else. Not only does he come out right away any issue that we have or that I have a question on he answers it right away and never hesitates to tell me what I should do how to save the cost anything he just really cares about his customers. Daniel will forever be our plumber!!

Just over a year ago, Daniel came out and fixed a dishwasher installation that a different plumber had messed up. He did a lovely job, charged me less than the first plumber did, and after more than year of use, none of his work has never leaked.

Today a service tech from the dishwasher company came out to replace a bad motor thingy. (Manufacturing defect.) When he pulled my dishwasher out from under the cabinet, he said ""Wow, whoever installed this did a nice job!""
And I was like ""Ok, sure."" (I mean, *are* there degrees of excellence in hoses that don't leak? Either they leak or they don't. These are the kind that don't leak.)
And the service tech said ""No, really, they did a *really* nice job. Look at these hoses, and the length here, and this over here... Usually when I pull out a dishwasher, it's a mess underneath. This is just really, really nice. Whoever did this for you, they did a good job.""
Not being a drainage hose enthusiast, I'm still not clear on why *exactly* the guy who's in my kitchen right now is so impressed, but what I am clear about is that the guy in my kitchen is a professional dishwasher tech and he IS impressed with Daniel's work. That part I can understand.

Came on a weekend. I stated I thought I needed a clean out and was prepared to pay. Nope, Daniel said he could just clear the clog. $99 later we're done. Super honest. I was really pleased.
