I called to schedule a service call for a client (I work with the elderly) who had a leak but we didn't know where. The water district came out and checked the outside of the home and suggested to have a plumber look inside. I called Icon and they tried to get out there the same day I called. When they were there, they immediately identified the problem, fixed it and called me to explain. Matt was exceptional and I wouldn't hesitate to call him again for myself or any of my client's plumbing needs! I wish there were more businesses who operate like this in the world!

We took a leap of faith with Icon plumbing and we're happily rewarded with outstanding workmanship, fantastic service and fair pricing. It wasn't an easy decision, as we had four other bids for our project. We liked Mat's friendly down to earth manner and felt an immediate sense of trust with him, so we decided not to go with the bigger more established Marin plumbers.

Project Scope:
- New tankless water heater and boiler (radiant heat) upgrade
- Infrastructure update to meet code
- Add laundry sink and laundry box

Mat and his team helped us do a much needed system upgrade to our 1961 Eichler. Along with the new tankless Navien 240 NCB-E combo boiler for radiant heat and domestic water, Mat upgraded legacy infrastructure to get our house up to code. We also decided to add a laundry sink and proper laundry box. It was notably tough to decide on what kind of tankless system we wanted. Mat was very helpful in giving us the right perspective when purchasing our first tankless system.

We had very high standards overall for this project because we wanted a nice clean look to go along with our newly re-modeled garage. Mat delivered big time and worked seamlessly with us and our carpenter to make sure the job stayed on schedule and things got done right. Most of all, Mat went out of his way to make sure we had minimal service interruption (hot water/gas) during the project. This was huge.

We past inspection thanks to Mat, which wasn't easy because of a some mystery gas leaks we found when doing a pressure test pre-inspection. Mat worked tirelessly to find to the leaks (turned out to be caused by old lines) and made sure everything would check out for the inspection.

We plan to be in our house for a long time. Mat will without a doubt be our plumber of record. I highly recommend him, he's a plumbing genius.

The pilot light on my water heater went out on a cold, rainy Saturday of a Holiday weekend to boot !! After trying several plumbers, Icon
Called me back in less than 10 min. He explained to me that the weekend-holiday rate was high
And suggested he stay on the phone with me and talk me through how to relight it myself!
After several failed attempts and lots of patience on his part, I got the water heater going again.

My tankless water heater broke down. Called around the plumbers I found on Yelp and none of them picked up the phone until Chris from Icon picked up after 3rd ring. Told him the problem and he asked to send him couple pictures of the WH and then he called back told me what he thinks the issues might be, turns out my WH is but too old and was not maintained well throughout the years, so time for a new one. He was able to put together a quote for me quickly and he was able to come out and do it on the same day so we won't have no hot water for the night. Everything was great and I scheduled him to come out that same afternoon.

However due to my house was scheduled for a building dept inspection and under the advice from my contractor, I had to cancel the appt with Chris. Although I did not use Icon but I was very impressed with their responsiveness and professionalism.

I was having a handful of nuisance plumbing issues so I called Icon Plumbing to help out. I had two running toilets, a leaky pipe, high water pressure, and faulty/missing shutoff valves. Aaron came out and gave honest recommendations that were cost effective. For example, instead of replacing my toilets as I had suggested, he recommended repairing them instead, which saved me a lot of money. That's a honest plumber if you ask me. He completed all of the work to my satisfaction. On his way out he fixed my front door which was catching on the door frame for no charge. Thanks Aaron!
