First time using Hydro Scout for an exterior water leak under my driveway. Both Lance and Trey who came out were prompt, professional and great to work with. All in the office, Reba, Erin, Erica and others as well as Justin who's in the field, were very helpful and it shows they care for their customers. I'd give them 10 stars if I could! Thank you!

These guys are thorough AND easy to work with. I highly recommend them. We had a mold issue in our rental property and needed help quickly. Their team was able to provide same day service, they even called us twice to provide updates before sending over a written report outlining the cause and solution for the mold. This saved us over $1000 in unnecessary repairs plus a week or more of the rental being taken off market.

This Company was assigned by my insurance Company, arrived with an inexperienced contractor who met my contractor while I am out of the country. The contractor, Frank was very rude, angry, conformational in his 5 minutes finding. Tests were not conducted, inspection where not done, Frank's work was done with visual detection. Frank did not want to review the issues that I had with my contractor. (Please see pictures below). Frank asked to contract me via my house keeper's phone and proceeded to tell me that I do not have any issues around the windows, he said it work that was previously done. I asked to explain further since I have the walls open and there is mildew. Frank, started raising his voice, I told him to explained himself, than he hung up the phone and walked out of the house. I gather, he only wanted to collect the money for the inspection from the insurance company without any supervision. I called the main office which I found on the internet to get more information and the """"owner"""" Luke, left me on the phone for 20min, called my insurance company and claimed that I cursed Frank out, this is all while I have my housekeeper and my contractor witnesses at his behavior. To add insult to injury, when I pressed Luke with further explanation to what transpired, he was rude, very unprofessional, confrontational and HUNG UP THE PHONE. Luke was too busy calling my insurance company to get his side of the story, not sure why. I usually do not comment on reviews, especially negative ones since I am a Buisness owner and know how important it is to companies, but this is a must! Luke could have mitigated the issue with me if there was any be and asked my insurance company to send someone else and reinspect. Well thank you, but no thank you, after lies I refuse to work with a company who claims they did the job and therefore, there should be a report. Having a going back to do an inspection again, let's me they screwed up. I am not sure what happened, but liars are the worst o deal with.

This is a horrible company. I do not recommend. Charged me 250.00 and missed finding the leak. This costed me about 2000.00 in unnecessary damage to my flooring. The second employee from Hydroscout came out and admitted to missing the leak. When I called to complain that I wanted a refund, The owner was rude, difficult to talk to, talked over me, and refused to take accountability for his employee who was here for five minutes (no wonder he couldn't find the leak). Run! Use American Leak Detection or some other company. The smaller charge is not worth ruining your flooring.

Never have I dealt with such a crooked company. My vinyl liner in ground pool had a slow leak so we decided to call a professional leak detection company. First clue should've been the $300 service call charge just to show up. We let them know that we suspected the leak was behind the pool light. They went right to the light and about 10 minutes later told me they patched the leak. The charge? $300 plus $150 for the patch and oh by the way, we also needed a wedge screw to hold the light since they broke off the original screw. They would have to come back for another $150 to repair. I questioned the $450 charge to show up and patch a leak without having to do any searching for the location of the leak. Okay he said, since it really only took about 30 seconds to patch, the charge is $350. Shortly after they left, the water level continued to drop. We called them to come back and guess what? They found another leak in the same spot. $150 later, they said it was fixed. Shorly after they left, the water level was going down so quickly, we couldn't fill it fast enough to keep it from going below the skimmer. Called them back. They came and took off the pool light again and said that in fixing that second leak, they might have done something to make it worse. Now we needed to replace the entire pool light niche and they would call the next day with a proposal. They called the next day to say they didn't want to deal with fixing it and gave us the name of someone else who over the phone, without seeing the problem, said it would be a minimum of $1500 because he'd have to break up the concrete to get to it. Now what kind of scam business is this? We're out $500 and they walk away without fixing? Then refer us to someone else to rip us off more?!! I believe they created the second leak then caused more damage to drive up the cost even more. When we asked to speak to the owner, we were told he's conveniently out of town for 10 days.

We had a leak in the library. Called HS, the tech showed up in time, but did not do what he supposed to do. He focused on one thing - the outside door and just checked the water pressure, he recommended to remove some wooden floor to see where the leak is coming from. He charged 150$ for the visit and said he will come back when the floor will be removed and there will be an additional 150$. When he left, we did all ourselves: moved some furniture, checked the moisture around the windows, walls, inspected the foundation and we found a little gap just 2 feet from the door he was talking about. Why did the professional not do all that? What was the charge150$ for if he did not find the source?

I've been using HYDROSCOUT for over 10 years. They were great when they first started coming out but they have since gotten new ppl that I have had to have come back out several times. This last time I had them out in July. They had been out 8 times. The 1st time they came it took them 2 weeks to find a leak in the pvc piping by the pool equipment. They were charging $1800 to repair a lil pvc pipe. I called Mr Rooter & they repaired the same pipe for $443 that HYDROSCOUT wanted $1800 for. I still had a leak in the jacuzzi. They put so much putty around the fittings & different tile pieces really sloppy. Needless to say they left after I paid $465 just for the jacuzzi & they charged $125 to patch. I tube of the big tube of putty only cost $25 on Amazon. Still the leak wasn't fixed. They wanted another $150 to come back & look for the leak. It had been 2 months & I had already spent $740. Then to add insult to injury the lady in the office said they had 1 last alternative but couldn't guarantee it would work By pouring in leak stop which usually never works. I'll NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND THEM AGAIN. SHAME ON YOU HYDROSCOUT, & SHAME ON ME FOR TRUSTING YOU TO DO YOUR JOB. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. DON't GO DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE LIKE I DID. BEWARE!!!!!! I called COASTAL LEAK DETECTION OUT & they found the leak in the jacuzzi jet in less than 20 minutes & the cost was $425 & that included the pool but the pool wasn't leaking. I will continue to use COASTAL LEAK DETECTION . You can see in the picture from what Coastal leak detection found & all the patch work HYDROSCOUT did around the lights jets. COASTAL LEAK DETECTION FOUND THE LEAK IN A jet THAT IS ENTOMBED IN THE JACUZZI WALL which is scheduled to be repaired. Hopefully you can see all the unsightly putty around the jets. I think they couldn't figure where the leak was & just started patching places cause the jacuzzi continued leaking the same amount after all the patch work.

We own Jon Smith Subs. Brandon and his team went above and beyond for our business this week. Brandon kept me in the loop and explained everything to me. Even though we have our grease trap emptied on a regular basis, I will be including Hydroscout as well, to come and power wash our pipes. Regular maintenance saves you in the end. Thank you!
