We had an elusive leak under our foundation which took 3 plumbing companies to visit before getting it fixed. I located the general area by using a laser temperature gun but was still not sure of the exact spot. The 3rd Plumber suggested that we call hydro scout to pinpoint it and save time and expense jack hammering more foundation that necessary. Hydro Scout showed up on time, were very professional and courteous and pinpointed the leak about 6-8 inches away from my spot. This saved us time and lessened the destruction of my floor substantially. I was very happy with this company and will certainly recommend them to anyone needing their services. If your trying to do this yourselves, DON'T!! They have the equipment and skill that it takes to minimize your pain :-) Thank you, Lynette Ball Bartow, Florida

I use Hydroscout as a sub-consultant to my engineering business. They are timely, organized, thorough, reasonably priced, friendly, professional, and easy to work with. Thanks for your support!

I've been using HYDROSCOUT for over 10 years. They were great when they first started coming out but they have since gotten new ppl that I have had to have come back out several times. This last time I had them out in July. They had been out 8 times. The 1st time they came it took them 2 weeks to find a leak in the pvc piping by the pool equipment. They were charging $1800 to repair a lil pvc pipe. I called Mr Rooter & they repaired the same pipe for $443 that HYDROSCOUT wanted $1800 for. I still had a leak in the jacuzzi. They put so much putty around the fittings & different tile pieces really sloppy. Needless to say they left after I paid $465 just for the jacuzzi & they charged $125 to patch. I tube of the big tube of putty only cost $25 on Amazon. Still the leak wasn't fixed. They wanted another $150 to come back & look for the leak. It had been 2 months & I had already spent $740. Then to add insult to injury the lady in the office said they had 1 last alternative but couldn't guarantee it would work By pouring in leak stop which usually never works. I'll NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND THEM AGAIN. SHAME ON YOU HYDROSCOUT, & SHAME ON ME FOR TRUSTING YOU TO DO YOUR JOB. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. DON't GO DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE LIKE I DID. BEWARE!!!!!! I called COASTAL LEAK DETECTION OUT & they found the leak in the jacuzzi jet in less than 20 minutes & the cost was $425 & that included the pool but the pool wasn't leaking. I will continue to use COASTAL LEAK DETECTION . You can see in the picture from what Coastal leak detection found & all the patch work HYDROSCOUT did around the lights jets. COASTAL LEAK DETECTION FOUND THE LEAK IN A jet THAT IS ENTOMBED IN THE JACUZZI WALL which is scheduled to be repaired. Hopefully you can see all the unsightly putty around the jets. I think they couldn't figure where the leak was & just started patching places cause the jacuzzi continued leaking the same amount after all the patch work.

Excellent company! Experts in plumbing systems, leak detection and repair. Diagnosis and repair of Water intrusion and pool leak issues too. Very informative, friendly workers as well. Helped identify a new construction Septic install defect which saved me lots of money and heartache since they discovered this while everything was still under warranty. Highly recommend!!!

Single Mother of 3, who works over 60 hours a week just to make ends meat. Called this company out due to my water bill being high thinking since I didn't see water on the floor or around the outside of the unit it was a foundation leak. Well the man was very prompt, was in my TH 3 mins and deemed the water heater was the issue, due to it draining out the flush line. I called to ask what the charge would be since it was only a 3 mins. on property before he left, they told me it was still going to be a $257 service call for ZERO service besides walking over and looking at the water heater. They used no equipment, nor searched anywhere else in the home. Not only do I now have a double power and water bill for 2 month's, the costs of hiring someone to install and cost of the water heater, but I have now been scammed $257 of my very hard earned and penny stretched money. I would NEVER recommend this company if they would treat a hard working single mother for 3 mins of the tech's time!!!

First time using Hydro Scout for an exterior water leak under my driveway. Both Lance and Trey who came out were prompt, professional and great to work with. All in the office, Reba, Erin, Erica and others as well as Justin who's in the field, were very helpful and it shows they care for their customers. I'd give them 10 stars if I could! Thank you!

We own Jon Smith Subs. Brandon and his team went above and beyond for our business this week. Brandon kept me in the loop and explained everything to me. Even though we have our grease trap emptied on a regular basis, I will be including Hydroscout as well, to come and power wash our pipes. Regular maintenance saves you in the end. Thank you!

We have used this company 2x and both interactions were professional and quick. Ben has been the technician sent out both times and represents and customer focused company very well. Thanks Ben!

This is a horrible company. I do not recommend. Charged me 250.00 and missed finding the leak. This costed me about 2000.00 in unnecessary damage to my flooring. The second employee from Hydroscout came out and admitted to missing the leak. When I called to complain that I wanted a refund, The owner was rude, difficult to talk to, talked over me, and refused to take accountability for his employee who was here for five minutes (no wonder he couldn't find the leak). Run! Use American Leak Detection or some other company. The smaller charge is not worth ruining your flooring.

Never have I dealt with such a crooked company. My vinyl liner in ground pool had a slow leak so we decided to call a professional leak detection company. First clue should've been the $300 service call charge just to show up. We let them know that we suspected the leak was behind the pool light. They went right to the light and about 10 minutes later told me they patched the leak. The charge? $300 plus $150 for the patch and oh by the way, we also needed a wedge screw to hold the light since they broke off the original screw. They would have to come back for another $150 to repair. I questioned the $450 charge to show up and patch a leak without having to do any searching for the location of the leak. Okay he said, since it really only took about 30 seconds to patch, the charge is $350. Shortly after they left, the water level continued to drop. We called them to come back and guess what? They found another leak in the same spot. $150 later, they said it was fixed. Shorly after they left, the water level was going down so quickly, we couldn't fill it fast enough to keep it from going below the skimmer. Called them back. They came and took off the pool light again and said that in fixing that second leak, they might have done something to make it worse. Now we needed to replace the entire pool light niche and they would call the next day with a proposal. They called the next day to say they didn't want to deal with fixing it and gave us the name of someone else who over the phone, without seeing the problem, said it would be a minimum of $1500 because he'd have to break up the concrete to get to it. Now what kind of scam business is this? We're out $500 and they walk away without fixing? Then refer us to someone else to rip us off more?!! I believe they created the second leak then caused more damage to drive up the cost even more. When we asked to speak to the owner, we were told he's conveniently out of town for 10 days.
