On Friday evening at 7:30 , I discovered I had no water flowing trough my hot water pipes, and also, my tankless water heater was flashing an error message. I had cold water, so I assumed it was a water heater problem.

The plumber I had used in the past did not have 24 hr. emergency service, which meant I would have to wait until Monday to have my problem fixed. I went on Yelp and started reading reviews, looking for a highly rated service that 24 hour emergency service and was near my home. I came across Hybrid plumbing and I am very happy that I did.

Steve Hammett, the owner, answered my call on the second ring. As I explained my issue, he told me he was out of town, but was texting to see which of his technicians was available. After getting the complete picture, Steve quoted me a very fair and reasonable price for the service. He told me that Nick was on his way and would be there shortly.

About thirty minuted later, Nick arrived and went right to work to assess the problem. Water had somehow collected in the bottom of the heater and the water sensors shut the idiot off. Nick proceeded to drain, dry and inspect the entire unit. When complete, the hot water heater was working. The charge was exactly as promised, no hidden charges or fees. When I went to bed that night, everything was fine.

When I woke at 7 the next morning, unfortunately there was no hot water again. I texted Steve, who responded in less than an hour. He would contact Nick, but he had worked on another emergency after mine, so he might be slow in responding to me. I heard for Nick at 10:30 who said he was on the way. He discovered a leaking part that needed to be replaced. He was able to temporarily bypass the sensor so I would have hot water for the weekend. He also told me the fee I had paid would be deducted form the final bill. A complete surprise to me.

Nick stopped by early Monday morning to get the model and serial number so he could get the part under warranty, therefore no charge.
He returned at three that afternoon with the part, made the repair. All was well.
The final bill was more than fair and reasonable. The service was excellent.

Hybrid plumbing is now my go to plumbing company. Great customer service, honest and fair pricing. Really unusual in today's business.

Given all the good reviews, I was surprised by the poor treatment I received. I called to ask if the company provided service in my area--they do--described my job, and requested an estimate. I was told to send pictures. I emailed them. No response. I followed up with a text. No response. I called and left a voice message. No response.

Is discourtesy now the shorthand way of declining a job? How would the company respond to issues that developed after a job had been completed but for which they had already been paid?

Steve is awesome, I was in a bind on a Sunday afternoon trying to DYI and needed help fast. Luckily I live close and Steve took my call immediately, and was at my home just as fast. Super nice, honest professional guy. I think I found my new go-to plumbing company.

I've since called for a few more jobs and they did a great job. This time Nick helped me with my Ikea plumbing that changed from the same sink 8 years ago. Thanks guys!

I freaked after a different contractor told me I needed a whole-house re-pipe job. Hybrid Plumbing came over, found and fixed a leak in a couple of hours.

These reviews are spot on. Steve was so nice and honest. He came out to check the pipes on our roof because they weren't looking so great. After really inspecting them, he explained that what we were seeing was really just surface and the pipes were still fine. Didn't try to charge us for something we didn't need. I will definitely be using him for any future issues.

Our 6 year old tankless water heater died on a Sunday morning, which was super frustrating and inconvenient. Steve and his crew had a new unit installed extremely fast, at a very good price (relative to the work required). They were honest, knowledgeable, fair, friendly, clean, polite and went the extra mile to leave us happy with the work. I'd absolutely use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone in the area.

The bad news is that I needed a plumber again for a major problem. The good news is that Hybrid came to the rescue AGAIN. Steve and his team have been rescuing us since literally the day we moved into our house.

Our latest problem was a nightmare scenario - roots in the sewer main. And there were some unexpected twists once they got down to the main. As usual, it was no problem for Hybrid. Nick worked his ass off and made it better than new!

The best thing about Hybrid is that you don't have to worry once they're done, because you know they did it right. I've got 5 years of proof.

I tell everyone I know about Hybrid. Hopefully you'll never need them; but if you do, be thankful that they exist. I've said it before, and I'll say it again - just stop reading this and call Hybrid ASAP.

Steve and his crew have helped me out with multiple plumbing issues within my house. The response is always prompt and very helpful. Steve and his crew are easy to work with and willing to spend the extra time to talk you through what plumbing issues you are having and give you a list of solutions to fix them; that fit your budget. I highly recommend using Hybrid plumbing for your next plumbing issue or job.

This is the best plumbing company in town. I had a major issue with a gas leak and they came out within the hour. They fixed the problem then the gas company destroyed the work they did!! They came back the same night unexpectedly and wanted to try and get us hot water for the night! I mean they just showed up WOW Above and beyond customer service! I would highly recommend them family owned, professional, knowledgeable and just all round great crew!!

We had a gas leak and really needed a plumber to come out today, but were worried about finding a good and honest company to do the work.... well we hit the jackpot with Hybrid Plumbing. Small, local company, the owner Steve is honest, kind, easy going and very fair. He sent Nick out and he did a very profesional job. We are very pleased with the service we received and will definately be calling them again for our plumbing needs. If you are in need of an honest, experienced plumber give them a call!
