Had a water heater issue with the pilot light. I called late in the day and talked with Brandon and setup a 9 am meeting. He showed up early and as we all know, that doesn't happen with plumbers. He looked at the situation and went about lighting the pilot light in about 2 minutes. Turns out that in my attempts I was a little quick in releasing the gas control knob. Brandon was professional in not laughing at me and did not charge for his time. Thanks Brandon but you got away before I could tip you so I owe you!

I first called Brandon & his crew about a year ago to fix a toilet. They just came back to completely redo the main line under the house out to the street, huge job that took almost a week including breaking open the slab in the kitchen, digging massive holes in the yard, managing multiple crews to do various aspects of the job...and it all went smooth as can be. His crew was incredibly courteous and respectful of our property, worked VERY hard and efficiently in 100° heat and did a stellar job. I've deleted all other plumbers from my phone, I'll only use Hughes.

Our kitchen faucet needed to be replaced. I ordered one from the manufacturer but needed someone to do the installation. At the recommendation of several people in my West Hills Facebook group, I called Hughes Plumbing Service. He set up a same-day appointment for 12 noon but actually came early. He was friendly and efficient and had the new faucet installed super fast. I will definitely call him again next time I need plumbing service.

Recently purchased a house and with inspection the inspector said my sewer lines were getting roots in them and could eventually lead to a blockage. Initially planned on having that service done at a later time and then my water heater began to leak. I first contacted my home warranty as they were little no no help. The contractor they sent out kept trying to up charge for everything saying I needed new gas and water lines and that they wanted to move the water heater else where. I decided to get a couple more quotes for separate contractors. The first company that came out tried to charge me even more then the home warranty company. Thank goodness I was able to find Hughes plumbing. I contacted them and Brandon (the owner) was at my door the next day and gave me a quote I couldn't turn down. Not only did he not try to up charge me he was friendly, straight forward, and very professional. Never once did I feel like I was getting the run around. It's hard to find people so trustworthy these days. Since he was so great I also asked him to check out the sewer line. He ran the camera both ways and gave me his honest recommendation but I didn't feel pressured to go either way. I decided to have it done for peace of mind and the total repairs were less than the home warranty company and the other plumbing companies and he fixed both issues! He even helped with my moms water pressure valve. He will definitely be my go to for any of my plumbing needs and I give him my highest recommendation. If you need any work done give him a call and give him a shot. I'm really glad I did. Appreciate you Brandon and your crew!

I have a tankless water heater, that benefits from annual service. I set a calendar reminder about it annually. Last year, Brandon serviced it and I had forgotten that we scheduled this year's service then. Grateful that he messaged me to confirm, and he showed up. Professional, reliable, NOT a rip-off. He is the kind of professional I want to have a chat with, and I always do. 2023 service completed, and 2024 now scheduled.

On Sunday evening late the toilets, sinks and all began backing up, I didn't know what to do but called Brandon of Hughes Plumbing and he said he'd be right over, I was so relieved. When he got here the only means of clearing it was from the roof and it was dark but he got up there and cleared it but after seeing how bad the main sewer line was , the original 1960s cast iron sewer line we decided it need replacing so they started. What a job but Brandon's crew were amazing , first finding where to begin because my house is on a slab not a raised foundation. Using a special camera and tools to find the way under the house . The next day it was raining hard but they were here working under canopies replacing new material for the sewer line and finishing it earlier that day than expected. I could not have expected any more than what they did . They cleaned up the garden and put all back. Great job Hughes Plumbing Service.
