My Furnace came to the end of its life span and Hug Plumbing was hired by my home warranty company to replace it with a new one. Im very pleased with the professionalism that Mark displayed when here and his commitment to the job. He was here when he said he would be and the job took just as long as he figured. With that said, I was also able to meet the owner of the company witch made me feel even better about the work that was being done. One bad situation was turned into a great outcome by a great company.

Great fast service! Our AC system broke as it was 94 out! We called at 4:30pm on a Friday and they called back in 20 mins and Mark was at our place within the hour. Showed the problem, repaired on the spot and found a work-around for an add'l issue so we didn't need to suffer with no AC thru weekend. Great attitude, very capable and reasonably priced!

I had a great experience working with Hug today. I called my home insurance yesterday for a leak and received a call back from Hug that very evening. Sam from Hug was able to stop by the very next day (today). He checked it out for maybe 5-10 min, then said he would pick up some items to fix it and be back in the afternoon to take care of it. The leak was not from my water heater which I had blindly assumed so I asked if he knew whether it was covered by my home insurance or not. He called the company to find out, which spared me a confusing phone call, and got it all straightened out and told me it was covered. Then he stopped by shortly after, fixed it in no time at all and showed me the much improved new piping. He was very friendly, professional, and efficient. I will definitely be calling Hug for any issues in the future. Thank you Sam!

After a lot of miscommunication between Hug and our Home Warranty company, the home warranty companhy eventually approved having Hug repair our broken faucet. Still waiting to see how it will come out, but pretty confident it will be good based on initial impressions.

I called and talked with Sam one morning due to a leaky shower. Originally, he was just going to stop in between jobs and give an estimate and come back later. But, he was able to show up, within an hour, evaluate, price and fix the problem in less than an hour. Very fair pricing and was nice enough to mention the deal on Yelp (which I had already purchased since the first phone call...but, nice of him anyways to look out and help the customer). If I have a problem again...they will be who I call. Thanks again.

The home warranty company sent Hug out to fix my AC. Chez was our repair guy and he was super nice and seemed knowledgable. He said our AC was completely out of frion but he didn't have any on his truck and had to get approval. Huh? Ok, so we schedule for the following Tuesday afternoon. He shows up, again very friendly, but says part of the unit was overheating and it wouldn't charge and hold new frion. He says he had to get approval and come back the following week. I told him that I'm self employed and missing an entire afternoon was difficult but whatever it had to be done. The 3rd Tuesday I call him to say I'm running a little late and should be at my house within 20 mins. He says he isn't coming because the home warranty lost his bid and he hasn't got approval. How come he didn't call me? This is the 3rd time I've had to reschedule everything and now you're not coming? I work with fidelity and other home warranty companies and I get approvals over the phone. Chez says he will call me within 24 hours. Ok cool. 24 hours later I got no phone call. I call and leave a vm with no response. 2 weeks later I call and leave a vm without a response. The home warranty calls numerous time and they don't get a response. WTF? 95 degree whether and no AC. He did mention he has to drive from Vallejo and regardless of how many trips he makes to fix an AC he only gets paid $30 and he has to pay for his own gas. Not my problem. I hate writing bad reviews but a simple phone call goes a long way. If Hug didn't want the job that's totally fine but just let your customer know so they can find somebody who does.

I couldn't have asked for more! I placed a service call for a broken furnace at 2pm, and their technician arrived within hours. Their price was significantly lower than another company I contacted, their response time was astounding, and they repaired the furnace during the initial hour of the service call. Overall a great experience and I would use them again for any future needs that come up.
