Thank you mark and the team for helping us out! Hug was assigned to us through fidelity when our new house's A/C system broke down. They did a great job and we couldn't have asked for better service. I see some people leaving negative reviews and from what I see it if fidelity that you should be upset with. Not these guys. Thanks again!

I was referred to Hug Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning by my Warranty Service. I left three messages for them and requested a call back. Obviously, the reason for the bad review is that they never called me back. Apparently, even though they sign up with a Warranty Service they don't want or need the work. I have called the Warranty Service and explained my displeasure with Hug and they have referred me to another company. Hopefully, this one is more responsive and reliable.

Today we had an appointment set up to get our garbage disposal looked at. Needless to say it had to be replaced. Sam showed up during the appointment window, took a look at it and knew right away that it and replaced it. He was very friendly, professional, and did a great job! It took him probably 30 minutes to install the new disposal. I highly recommend this company. Thank you so much Hug Plumbing, you made this a painless experience.

Dave was amazing and completely solved several heating problems at his site visit. Professional, fast, efficient, quality and knowledgeable work. Look no further than Hug Heating Services when you need expert HVAC work. I am a grateful customer and Dave has earned this review.

This review is for Dave (he's the only person I dealt with from the company)
I moved into my home 10 months ago and have had the same problem with my AC since the middle of last summer. The AC unit was randomly shutting off and the fan would continue blowing hot air into the house. I had made FOUR other calls and technicians before getting Hug Plumbing assigned to us by our home warranty. They all said the same thing ""Nothing is wrong with it and it should work fine now I made an adjustment."" Well, that was never the case. Of course every time it has acted up has been in the middle of a heat wave. I even had an electrician come look at the breakers and yet nothing worked.
Once again in the middle of having 103 degree weather in Vacaville and no way to cool the house for my 14 month old, I found myself on the phone once again with my warranty company. I got a message saying I had been assigned Hug Plumbing. Dave called so quickly that day I was in shock. He was SO nice and extremely empathetic to the fact that I had a little guy at home and was trying to get out to me ASAP (The very FIRST person out of all the calls to really care that I had a baby in a 100 degree house by the way). He got out to our home within 24 hours, was super sweet and patient with my son (even when he tried to pull out some of his tools while Dave was explaining things to me *head smack*), all while what seemed to be teaching the young man who was with him about everything he was doing. I could go on and on about the amazing experience I had dealing with Dave. Really long story short, he came out, found the issue and fixed it. None of this ""I adjusted this or that"" No. He gave me an honest answer and honest advice. Thanks to him I have a happy and well rested toddler and a nice cool home when it's 100+ outside. Thanks again Dave!!!

Hug the plumbing came to our rescue yesterday! If you have Fidelity Home Warranty and have been assigned a crappy plumbers in the past due to slightly lower costs, except no substitutes and demand hug plumbing. After having been assigned two different plumbers from my home warranty company, finally we get one who is competent, considerate, efficient and respectful. Sam called us yesterday to say that he was in the area and saw our claim come through via Fidelity and could he come help us out. Boy did he ever. He assessed the problem quickly and did a great repair in a timely fashion. Can't say enough great things about these folks, I will definitely be asking Fidelity for them by name.

My mom is 86. She recently purchased a home in Vacaville. Her Heating system which is placed in the garage, was primarily heating the garage and not the house due to leaks, issues, whatever. My mom contacted her home warranty contract people and they sent out someone from a different air and heating repair company. The workman stated he was unable to repair her current system and that she needed a new heater, and because Freon was not going to be available after the summer, she also needed a new air conditioner, all for approximately $13,000.
My mom complained to the Real Estate Agent, who contacted the home warranty company, who then sent out a repairman from Hug Plumbing, Heating and Cooling.
The repairman from Hug Plumbing, Heating and Cooling, successfully repaired the heater so that it was heating only the house. He also informed her that although Freon was going off the market, that there are adequate supplies available and that her air conditioner did not need to be replaced at this time.
He spent quite a lot of time repairing the heater, he was friendly and courteous, and kind, and my mom was very happy with the service she received.

Dan and Mark are awesome guys. We had an AC issue and they were sent by my home warranty company. Inspite of their busy schedule, they squeezed me in because they knew that we have an elderly and kids at home. Mark came and checked the unit. He knew right away that the fan motor was defective. He then left and got me the motor and came back that same day and fixed our AC unit. He is very friendly and professional. I'd give these guys a 2 thumbs up and 10 stars if I could.
Thanks Mark! I really appreciate the great service!

Furnace quit working. Three calls and one email over seven days.. still no response from Hug. Not sure they are still in business. If they are their service sucks.

Plumbing makes me grumpy because I have had a lot of leak repairs until I finally got all the pipes redone on my 1976 mobile home. But I will say that working with Hug Plumbing makes it not so bad because Sam really has a good attitude and a nice presence about him that mostly makes up for the annoyance and expense of a plumbing job. He's also very reliable, communicates well and is detail-oriented. I don't have to worry about him ""forgetting"" about something. And, as far as I can tell, the quality of the work is good too. Most importantly, if there is a question about whether something was done right you can definitely depend on them to be there and follow up with the work they did to make things right.
I had all the pipes redone at my mobile home in 2017. The work quality was good! There were places where the walls had to be cut open to get to the pipes and I can't see any seams or signs that any work was done. We did have some very minor issues after the pipe replacement but Sam came out and addressed them promptly. Before I had the pipes replaced, I had Hug do leak repairs and install a water pressure regulator to try and prevent leaks. This did seem to help some, for a while, but ultimately replacing the pipes was the way to go on mobile home.
In the Heating arena, I have had Hug Plumbing attend to some minor issues as well and had a very similar good experience working with Chez on those issues. He is also friendly, fair, polite and gives very good advice.
Recently I had some issues at the mobile home that I thought were related to work done by Hug a year ago, but it turns out they were issues caused by other contractors' recent work. I left an (annoyed) message and Sam promptly came out and took a look. Sam was great about doing what he could to fix some of the problems he saw under the house at no charge, though, it turns out, he was not responsible for them. And he pointed out other issues he noticed. I really respect how he didn't get defensive about me ""accusing him"" of causing the problems that he did not cause. And he went the extra mile to help out as much as possible while he was under the house. But, it's not surprising because that's the character I have noticed in him consistently. And truly, it makes working through these annoying issues so much nicer. If I have to spend money on a repair it makes it much better for me if I actually like the person I am writing the check to and if I have confidence in their work. If you have a similar feeling, then I recommend Hug Plumbing to you.
