I contacted Horizon for an A/C tuneup. They responded very quickly. Once my information was taken, I was transferred to another staff member to schedule an appointment. Once the employee discovered that I live in the part of the zip code that is in Baltimore City and not Baltimore County, she told me that she could not schedule me.

She was not rude but stated they don't do work in the city. She was not able to provide a readon why.

The Plumbers who did the work on my Kitchen and also my bath room were professionals, efficient, and did the job well. I was going to hire them again to install my water heater and also the acid neutralizer. They already give me their estimate for both jobs. So, I check with two more plumbing estimates and to my surprise Horizon Services was way too expensive. The difference in dollars was not only by a hundred but $2,700 plus with the same workmanship with a very professional finish. I will not call Horizon Services again on any of my plumbing problems.

Very over priced I was charged $397 to replace the ring and bolts on one toilet plus the $49.50 fee. I would not recommend or use them again.

Called for ac service and was told we had a freon leak. We asked for an estimate on replacing the system. The quote was written up with a cost, then a 10% discount, then another 10% discount. This price manipulation makes a customer think he's getting 20% off. He isnt. The 2nd 10% is off the LOWER number, after taking the first 10%
So, 20% of a $10k cost is $2000, right? The way this company does their math, your discount ends up being $1900 - which is not 20% as they'd like you to think. This pricing tactic is deceptive and dishonest.

Tech gave me 6 options ranging from $2200 to $800 to replace a tap! The service visit was an additional $50. After paying for the visit, I said no thanks. I ended up calling a other company that came for free and replaced the tap for $300.

Update 5/24: Manager called and explained the tech had used the wrong pricing plan. The cheapest option now was $550.They also said that they have 2 years parts and labor warranty hence the higher pricing.

I called them on coldest weekend of the year, they came out promptly, were courteous, diagnosed our problem and fixed it quickly. Considering weekend and busy, they were extremely reasonably priced. Highly recommend them to anyone in need of their services

Scheduling was very easy and accommodating with Horizon Services. Tech gave an ""on the way"" call before showing up. Very professional and was thorough in checking my system. Very satisfied with the service and will continue to call Horizon Services for my furnace and AC needs.

Very disappointed. The furnace in my house stopped working on the coldest night in January. Although I was impressed with the customer service of dispatch and the timely response, I cannot say the same for the Technician. I am stating he was not knowledgeable about what needed to be repaired, but I am faulting the integrity. He recommended for me to purchase an entirely new unit, $8k or more. Since the house was warm, I was able to have another company look at it. New thermostat and a $50 part and it is fully functional. I don't know if they receive commission from sales, but he lost on this one.

Horizon Services saved the day !!!! it was raining in kitchen from a clogged pipe and they were out quickly to resolve the issue. The technician was extremely knowledgeable and very professional. He was able to diagnose and quickly resolve the problem. I would highly recommend their services. Wonderful experience !!!
