Can't say enough good things about this company. Plumbing problems aren't usually ""scheduled"" the problem always occurs on a weekend or a holiday. Our problems are no exception! Recently we called hometown, our go to plumber for years, to our home Christmas Eve morning. Steven and his crew were here within an hour, had the problem diagnosed and the part ordered immediately. Although we had to wait longer than normal (holidays everything is closed) Brentt made sure to keep our hot water heater running as efficiently as possible until the new part arrived. He was here well after dark in the cold making sure we had hot water and even offered to make multiple visits to our home to rig our hot water heater so that it would not go out while we waited a few extra days for the part! THAT is customer service!!!

I'm out of town property owner & have used Hometown Plumbing several times past 4 years for tenant repairs. I selected them based on prior Yelp reviews. Steve, the owner has treated me very fairly & given me senior citizen discount. I called Friday at 3:15pm & left messages for service call needed. Chad took all the info, Steve, the owner called back & Gonzalo went next day to replace & repair shower tub valves and handles. He called when job completed & took my CC for payment! I will use them again for plumbing services in Bakersfield.

I had a sudden unexpected plumbing issue. I called hometown plumbing and to my surprise they set an appointment and came out the very next day. I wasn't able to be there in person only my wife to be left alone with the company. And her comments where nothing but great. They are very professional and they are local family business owned and operated. I felt great to know my wife can handle it. They are very reasonable and leave you feeling satisfied. They guarantee there work and want toj to hear from you if you Have any issues or concerns. Super happy and strongly recommend them for any plumbing needs.

I called Hometown plumbing this morning regarding a water heater that was leaking.
I spoke with Gonzalo by phone, and he assured me that he would arrive between 8:00-8-15.
Gonzalo arrived at 8:00 as promised and quickly discovered the problem. Gonzalo stated that he had to pick up a new water heater and parts , and would return at 12:00.
At 11: 20 Gonzalo arrived an immediately went to work on my water heater. During the installation I asked several questions regarding the new water heater , and he was courteous and respectful.
I definitely would recommend Hometown plumbing, and if your lucky enough to get Gonzalo you'll be satisfied with his honesty and work ethic!

A late night repair was needed, a copper pipe had a pin hole leak. The tech called me back immediately and let me know he could go out. He did explain it was a higher rate due to being late night and an emergency call out. After agreeing, he was out at the property with in 30 mins and had the problem fixed within the hour. I would definitely use them in the future again.

My kitchen sink drain was clogged. I called hometown plumbing and they had a service tech out to my residence within the time frame given to me. The tech was very friendly and was very knowledgeable. The price for the service call was reasonable. I would recommend hometown plumbing for any plumbing needs.

On Monday afternoon, I called and scheduled an appointment for them to come out and look at a slow leak I have in my incoming water line. We scheduled it for Wednesday morning 9-11 AM. Wednesday comes around and they call, asking if they can go to an emergency up in Taft assuring me that he will be back by 11:30 AM or 12:00. I agree and wait around. At 12:30, after having received no phone call, I head to work. I receive a call at 12:45 from the plumber saying that he's on his way. I tell him that that i'm going to work then ask if they are open on Saturdays because I work all week and had to take time off today to get them to fix the problem. He says they are open and I say great and I tell him I'd like them to come out Saturday morning to look at it. I assumed that was all I needed to do. Saturday at 9:00 am I call the main number to see when they will be coming to look at it, and they have no record of an appointment for me. They take my information down again and a few minutes later, the only plumber working that day calls me. He says he can be there at noon. I say fine. Around 10:45 AM I go shopping. My kids call me about 5 minutes later saying the plumber is at the house. I received no call this time that they were going to come by early. When I return home after turning around, he gives me an estimate of $450 for an hour of work. At this point, i'm so tired of the company I agree to it. They replaced the incoming line water valve and I pay the man. I am done with this company. You would think that they would do something to stay on my good side, but it's like the business doesn't care. People will have problems and they will get calls. 2 missed appointments on a day that I took time away from work and then they don't even reschedule the appointment.

I was in a bind with no help from my property managers. So I called Hometown plumbing and they came to my rescue. Claudio did his job efficiently. Fixed the thermal coupler to my water heater. Can't take cold showers in the winter! They fixed the problem!
