This company is a """"hatchet man"""" contractor for American Home Shield. I disagreed with my first plumber, and demanded a second opinion. So they sent home choice services plumber who was great, he agreed with me on everything. But then the home office got a hold of everything and falsified what he said. By the time they sent the report back to American Home Shield, it was almost verbatim with the first report. That first company was Circa services. When American Home Shield doesn't want to pay a claim, they send out a company like circa services, to say exactly what they want to hear. Then when you get a second opinion they send out another plumbing company like Home choice to agree with what the first company said. I'm sure that it wasn't the plumber, but the home office of Home choice services that did the dirty deed. Live and learn. I am dropping American Home Shield, and I plan on taking them to small claims court to pay for my water heater. Keep me once shame on you, cheat me twice shame on me. I had to pay for it myself. I'm also planning to check with the lawyer to see if I can include circa services and Home choice services in the lawsuit. Can you guys tell that I'm a little pissed off? Too bad I can't give them less than one star

I've been dealing with this problem since March 16, I had a leak underneath my kitchen sink, technician, from Home Choice assigned by American Home Shield, came and diagnosed the problem: I needed a new faucet... told me that Moen (the faucet manufacturer) offered lifetime warranty, I contacted Moen and they sent me an email stating that my faucet was not under warranty because they do not transfer warranty to second owners, warranty is issued only to original owner... so I passed the information to AHS and Home Choice, AHS assured me that they will authorize a new faucet. Spoke to many many agents from AHS: Kate ID # 11286917, Marge supervisor, Stephanie supervisor, etc all of them assured me they would send an email to Home Choice. Today April 8 finally a technician came he didn't have a faucet with him and told me that he didn't know what he was at my house for... he was on the phone with the owner Tony Alencar, he refused to speak to me, so I called Elizabeth office manager(?) that said that they never received authorization for the new faucet because my faucet is under warranty with Moen! So back to call AHS spoke to Stephanie the supervisor, and she telling me that Home Choice told her that faucet is under warranty... Both companies refused to see my email from Moen stating that there is no warranty. I don't understand why they keep insisting on that when I have proof from Moen. Anyway I've been without running water in my kitchen since March 16, today is April 8, with multiple phone calls to AHS and Home Choice where I found them, especially Diego manager, very rude and patronizing, he put me on hold, not very successfully, and I listened to a conversation with one of his technicians, insulting a customer. Elizabeth very rude, unable to solve problems, the 4 plumbers that came to my home very inexperienced acting like they never saw a faucet before. I don't how AHS can work with such unprofessional contractor. AHS assigned me a new contractor but it's up to me to show him my proof from Moen... this is a joke and a scam from both companies as soon as I get this problem fix I'll cancel my contract with AHS.

Service scheduled well in advance, and then time window of 4+ hours still pushed back after taking half the day off work in order to be home, and then try to call and get automated answering giving you the wrong orders for pressing numbers! Poor customer service all around! Still waiting for the plumber to get here today....

Terrible company used by American home shield, they take the money paid to come out and never come back. They lack communication by not returning calls. Don't use them unless you wanna get scammed

The came to fix or replace my garbage disposal after contracting with American home shield for our warranty. The 19 year old kid that came to replace it brought a $60 disposal and was completely clueless when I was inquiring and asking specific questions about the brand, horsepower, and comparable quality of the model I have vs the cheap junk they tried to replace it with. The kid called the owner and he refused to replace my garbage disposal with a comparable model. The owner was also extremely rude and said you get what you get, call American home shield. This was the actual worst customer service I've ever received and typically we have great experiences. Basically, they take your money to come out and use cheap fixes so they make more money. They are definitely scammers beware!

I have a repair claim with AHS they send Home Choice Services to do the repair, the technician arrived, in less than 5min he said that the water heater was installed incorrectly and was not under code. The technician left and reported to AHS that the job was complete. I was charged for the service call in advance before Home Choice Service even arrived. I will never call this company again for a repair, they took my money in less than five minutes with no resolution. Since then I have contacted Ameican Home Service to file a complaint with this company that is quick to take your money. Becareful when you call for a repair.

Super poor company. Never never never use them . They just waste your money and time.

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.... They answer the phone 10% of the time. Lady who appears to work from home has no idea what the technician does in the field. Sent out 2 times by American Home Shield warranty company and always find something not covered under warranty. SCAMMERS!!!

First call 3/23/21: the plumber told me to go find my own shower stim for leaking water from turn handles and to buy washers. I went to plumbing store and no one could identity the older stem from the picture the plumber sent me. Second call 4/14/21: same plumber (Luis) said nothing was wrong and handles weren't leaking. I told him to wait...they leaked. He tried the washers and it made it worse. He said the company would order the shower stem parts. He then turned the ceramic dial/handle so hard (cold water) that it broke. He then proceeded to tell me that I needed to go to Home Depot and find my own replacement because he didn't have time. I complained to the company. On 4/19 they stated this: """" We order your parts already, we are waiting on the arrival and will contact you as soon as we have them to schedule your visit."""" Every time I call their business phone 407-383-0105, no one answers and there is no voicemail. No one has responded to my text messages either since then. This business has been unprofessional and horrible to work with. I filed a complaint with BBB.

Wish there was a negative option on the star rating. American Home Shield sent this contractor to our home for a Water Heater repair/replacement after two mornings with a cold shower @ 5am in January/February. This was the worst experience e v e r from the start. In take employees, rude. Schedulers, rude. Technician - completely useless and rude! He """"diagnosed"""" the issue by testing the unit with a volt meter to report """"yep, it is getting power"""", ok then why is the water not hot? Oh well you have to let the water run - no kidding! but more than 15 minutes to get nothing but cold water - unacceptable. AHS was no better with their customer service to resolve the concern. After spending $$ monthly for more than five years worth of """"coverage"""" we have cancelled this policy. Still fighting to get my $150 worth of service fees back as the problem still exists. STAY AWAY from both American Home Shield and Home Choice Services
