Do not get a service contract with these people. Every time they serviced our units, something went wrong. This time they missed the electrical and the unit didn't run. They said that filter that I had used was the wrong size for one of my units. I made sure to buy the exact dimensions that they gave me four years ago. They said that they were going to purchase a new filter to put in. They didn't. Instead last week's technicians lied to their supervisor that they had offered us to go purchase the filters for $150. My husband and I were here and they never mentioned this. They charged $350 and they left the furnace without a filter. Also, they never removed any of the previous dirty air filters. They charged me an additional $350 to get my unit working. Other times the HVAC units did not work because the line for the oil wasn't working. At least 4 times, I have had to have my oil provider fix the oil line. I am canceling my contract today and I never want to deal with this company again.
The HVAC guy today left without the bedroom heating system which separate from the rest of the house. So far, I have spent over $1400 and my bedrooms do not have heat.

Our kitchen sink backed up and we needed a plumber fast. I called around and HL Bowman was the only company to answer the phone. A plumber and helper were dispatched quickly and after a $70 dispatch fee, quoted another $400 to unclog the sink. Because the sink was not operational I moved forward. They did the job in about 30 minutes and were very professional in cleaning up and explaining what they had done. It would've been a five star review for the work excepting the fact that the cost was astronomical, but they had me over a barrel.

I highly recommend this company. They are honest and not looking to sell you a new system. My mother needed a repair to her AC. I always have three companies give estimates on major repairs. The two other companies over diagnosed what was needed and tried to convince her that she needed a new AC. The one company even told her she needed a furnace too!!! It's seems like they saw an elderly woman who probably had money and just went for the upsell.

Bowman had an excellent tech come out. He was very honest and diagnosed the problem, which only involved ONE thing that was much cheaper to repair than a whole unit. I highly recommend this company!!

These people charge outrageous amounts, my unit needed Freon R410, and here is my bill $780.00 Freson was charged at $190 rest is all showing up and evaluation fee. So stay away from getting some local hones guy. They are expensive than a surgeon who operates on you.

We had a technician come out to check out Heat Pump (Isaac) and he was outstanding, found an issue with the system, identified the options and we decided to get an estimate to replace our 20 year old system. The appointment was scheduled for the next day. The individual scheduled called us 15 minutes after his scheduled arrival time and stated he could not make it until after 3 PM, which was not a good time for us, he then stated he was headed back to his office and would call to reschedule. NEVER heard another word, this was disappointing from what I have read on the reviews. I have now scheduled appointments with other companies to replace our system.

Our interactions with this company started off great and have progressed to nothing short of negligence. They were called to service our HVAC unit in the winter of 2021. It ended up needing to be replaced. HL was very quick and communicated wonderfully throughout the installment. However, after needing to run the AC a few months later, it was found that the installment was riddled with problems.
At our first repair, the tech found a leaking gas pipe, which was next to a sparking electrical unit, and no coolant in the unit. The issues were ""fixed"" and we never received documentation of the visit.
At second repair call, which it took 2 hours to hear back on their emergency line, the tech found no coolant again (weeks later) and diagnosed a leak that he could not find. Again, no paperwork was received. We were told to expect a call the following business day for further repair. The call never came. We have since called twice to be told both times that they would look into it and call us back, which they have not. When asked for documentation of all visits, I was told I would receive it over email, which I have not.

Looking for a free estimate? Not here. Expect to pay $70 for someone to come to your house and tell you what needs repaired/replaced. Then they will send a sales guy on a separate day to give you a price which is significantly higher than what you would pay with a small business. The guy who initially came to our house was super kind and very informative. Unfortunately the sales rep he was sending our way was late and got mad at us when we weren't available an hour and a half after our appointment had been scheduled. Overall, their business model is too complex and we chose another company simply because their prices were astronomical. Do they do good HVAC work? Probably. But we couldn't get past the customer service to find out.

Dan is my hero!!!!! I've had issues with my gas boiler ever since it was installed and received estimates that ranged from 2k - 8k for repairs. Dan was able to get it working in a few hours and the cost was less than 1k. My only regret is that I didn't find him sooner!

HL Bowman was terrific all around, especially considering the current Covid circumstances. We had a minor issue with our air conditioning, and they were able to get a tech to come out the next business day (I called on the Friday before Memorial Day--tech came on Tuesday).

I asked about precautions related to Covid, and the person on the phone ensured me the tech would be masked and gloved. When the tech (Cory) called, he was understanding and cooperative regarding how to initiate the interaction. He was always masked in the house, maintained at least 6 feet, and communicated his steps and concerns throughout. Cory was super professional and very courteous to our concerns, which is much appreciated. Their pricing was fair and the work was completed in about an hour. I will call them again if I have any HVAC (or plumbing) needs. Highly recommended!!

They are amazing. I tried to install a nest thermostat and tripped a fuse. Simple wiring, I am good with but this was a bit out of my league. They came and fixed it quickly and efficiently. They have reasonable prices for the outstanding service they provided. We will use them in the future for sure if our A.C. has issues.
