Established as Springfield, Ohio's first electric drain cleaning service by Peter Guinan and transferred through four family generations to Mike Hixon in 1980. Mike managed under the brand Mike Hixon Sewer and Drain Cleaning until his untimely death in 2006. In August of the year 2013, Mike's son Danny Hixon revived the family business under Hixon Consultants LLC. Operating as, Hixon Sewer and Drain Cleaning. Prior to this, Danny worked as the National Manager for major wastewater and natural gas pipeline businesses and remains active as a specialist to pipeline safety, infrastructure data collections and robotic camera production clients in the USA, our northern neighbor and the European continent.
Our company was revived to bring back the high level of service and trustworthiness that the former business was known for back to the Springfield and Clark County region to address all of your emergency drain cleaning and CCTV inspection requirements.
I began running calls at a tender age with my dad and my great-great-grandfather Pete (the founder of the company in 1941) and witnessed the commitment and great sense of pride my forebears had in nurturing relationships with their customers as a priority. Since then, I have operated as an apprentice all the way to the head of national operations in drain cleaning, as well as the management of pipeline integrity firms. I plan to teach the techniques and practices employed by these major companies to every technician here at Hixon Sewer and Drain Cleaning while bringing the classic service approach that Pete and four generations preserved for over 70 years.
My objective is to combine the positives of a large service firm to the irreplaceable values of a family-owned company committed to client care and integrity.
