Founded as Springfield, Ohio's first electric drain cleaning service by Peter Guinan and handed down through four family generations to Mike Hixon in 1980. Mike managed under the name Mike Hixon Sewer and Drain Cleaning until his passing in 2006. In the summer of 2013, Mike's child Danny Hixon relaunched the family enterprise under the name Hixon Consultants LLC. DBA, Hixon Sewer and Drain Cleaning. Before this, Danny held the National Manager for top wastewater and natural gas pipeline businesses and continues to operate as a advisor to pipeline integrity, data collection for infrastructure and robotic CCTV manufacturing clients in the USA, our northern neighbor and across Europe.
Hixon Sewer and Drain Cleaning was reopened to restore the quality of service and integrity that the former business was renowned for back to the Springfield and Clark County region to meet all of your urgent drain cleaning and video inspection needs requirements.
I began handling service requests at a young age with my dad and my great-great-grandfather (the originator of the company in 1941) and saw the devotion and pride my predecessors had in nurturing relationships with their customers as the top priority. Since that time, I have operated as an apprentice all the way to the head of national operations in the drain cleaning industry, and also pipeline integrity management businesses. My intention is to instruct the practices and approaches employed by these large corporations to each technician here at Hixon Sewer and Drain Cleaning while reintroducing the traditional client service that Pete and four generations preserved for seven decades.
My objective is to combine the strengths of a large service firm to the irreplaceable values of a family-owned company focused on service excellence and integrity.
