Company Overview

We provide remodeling services for homes and businesses, covering everything from simple repairs to full renovations. This encompasses interior and exterior coatings, drywall installation and plastering, framing, trim, and the installation of doors and windows, flooring and tiling, decks and fencing.

As a family-owned business since 2005. We proudly serve the Northwest side of Chicago, the nearby suburbs, and Southern Wisconsin.

Our journey began in 2005 focusing on the Chicago area. Over the years, we relocated to the Wauconda/Island Lake area and continue to serve the broader northwest suburbs of Chicago, as well as the northwest side of the city and southern Wisconsin. Our commitment is to offering reliable service rooted in integrity and honesty.

Richard Ballasch leads His Workmanship as the owner and operator. His background includes years of experience and training in the building and refinishing sectors, gaining expertise in multiple materials and working conditions.

He has 7 years of experience as an auto painter at a prestigious auto body shop in Chicago, where he was certified to paint luxury brands like Lexus, Mercedes, Porsche, Audi, and Volkswagen.

He then transitioned his refinishing skills to leather and wood. He was employed for 10 years at a premier leather refinishing company in Chicago. In that role, he oversaw the shop, performed service calls, delivered furniture, and trained staff in the art of high-end leather refinishing. Some of his projects have appeared in media, film, and print.

In 2005, he made the decision to establish his own company to utilize his expertise in remodeling.
