our water heater died and american home shield sent these yahoos out who barely spokely english. they didnt know what they were doing until we asked and had to pay for another contractor who said we needed a new water heater, where highway just wanted to replace a part. they also lied to the waaranty company and us. wow! even the 2 women running office never returned calls and as i said lied. very frustrated dealing with them.

Had Alfredo come to address a leak issue, American Home Shield assigned them. What he wrote to them is that the faucet leaking from my bathtub was not from normal wear and tear. That in turn caused AHS to deny my claim. Needless to say thats complete crap, i called Highway plumbing and rooter to speak to Alfredo on 2 different occasions and never received a call back. Be careful using this company or having them assigned by you as they lack experience and customer service. I will say the women who answered the phone was very nice.

Fair warning if you see this company assigned to your service call for plumbing for home appliances warranty please ask for a different company or else you will not have anything repaired. This company is terrible at communication and lies to the warranty. The plumber even broke the valve on my water heater and left my house without fixing the bathroom faucet. He said he would come back to fix but never came. I would do negative stars if I could. Again fair warning do not use this company ask for someone else.

They were assigned to us by our warranty company, and after reading reviews I was extremely nervous about them coming to do our plumbing work. However I was EXTREMELY pleased with how quickly they reached out, within 15 minutes of me ending call with my warranty company, to schedule our initial appointment. Alfredo came, saw the issues and in less than an hr provided the warranty company with a quick for parts and repairs. Appointment was set within a few days to do repairs. Throughout the inspection he explained in detail the issues and causes of the issues, he was very polite and efficient. Day of appointment Alfredo, came and again was communicating every step he was doing and insured everything was to my liking before he completed the service call. I am extremely pleased with the quality of service provided by not only Alfredo but the office staff.

I do not know how this company stays in business,they fail to communicate with their customers,lie to your face and on the phone,try to charge for jobs or parts that are not needed.They were sent to my house by my home warranty over a month ago and the job is still not complete.I have vocalized my issues to my home warranty but it seems to have fallen on deaf ears.Do not let these people into your home,find someone else!!!!

If I could give this company and its staff a negative star rating I would! AHS sent them over to my house and it went horribly bad from there!
I talked with two different staff that each said a 4 to 6 pm Window. The plumbers, if you can call them that, show up at 3 and they harass my wife on the phone and make her feel like she owed them.
They did not wear protective ""booties"" on their work boots when they entered my home.
Without trying to figure a non intrusive way of locating the leak, they started cutting 3 large holes in my ceiling and wall. They did not lay down any sort of tarp to cover the counter or floor.
They were looking for reasons to deny the claim rather than locating the source of the leak.
They did not clean up after themselves. They left the cutout Sheetrock and all the dust where it lay and left.
By the time they left my home, my wife was in tears in how they treated her and how unprofessional and inhuman they were.

LET's not forget I called them 3 business days in a row and for 3 business days, the manager wouldn't return my call.

Update to my recent review. My service call was scheduled from 12-2. They showed up approximately 1:00-1:30pm. The office sends out an email to the customer then to home warranty co prior to their arrival. The reason I am updating my post is, the office is also needs improvement. The email was sent at 10PM!!! This business needs improvement all around! Most importantly how to install faucets and properly deal with customers.

I dont know why home warranty recommended them without seeing all their terrible reviews. Same situation with a lot of people here. Lied on their report, they said pipes backwards even though it was working for 5 years. Big time crooks be prepared for fake estimates and repairs that are not even needed. Really dishonest people and rude. I will report them to the bbb and see what states govern their licenses. 0 stars. DO NOT USE THEM! Be warned they are liars!

Made a service request through our home warranty and at first we were a bit skeptical because of the reviews but Vicente came in and fixed our water heater. It took a few days for the part to come in but he dropped by as soon as he could to install the new part. Our water heater now works and our family is grateful for this plumbing service.

I do not recommend Highway plumbing to anyone!!! I would give them a zero if it was possible, or even negative stars. We put in a warranty request for a leaking pipe under our kitchen sink. Came out and saw our pipe was leaking, but said they could not create access so we had to do it ourselves (cut plywood and drywall to get to pipe under our kitchen sink). We did and they came back. Saw the obvious pipe crack but gave us a whole runaround saying we needed a contractor to come destroy our kitchen, break our concrete etc to get to the pipe to fix and a whole other nonsense excuse. Saying we could destroy all the pipes in the house (this is a drain pipe, not water line). Well the technician said he would tell ahs but instead CLOSED the service request as complete when the technician DID NOTHING but tell us unnecessary stuff so he would have to do the job. We got a second opinion outside of ahs and they replaced our pipe in 1.5 hours and did not have to tear apart our kitchen. The other plumber with another company was professional and honest, nothing like highway plumbing. So disappointed with the run around that highway plumbing gave us. Most awful experience ever. Would not recommend to anyone. A simple fix but with the laziness and excuses it did not get complete from them and they did not even try to get it done. Never use them, save your money and get real professionals to do the job, especially if your warranty wants you to use them!
