Home warranty company sent them for our water heater. Good communication, they were here next day and after evaluation got approval to replace it. They were quick and efficient in removing and replacing our water heater. Antonio was very nice and helpful in explaining everything. Good job!

Less than one star would be my rating for Highway Plumbing and Rooter. Unfortunately, my Home Warranty Company (Old Republic) assigns the vendor to service your need after you request service.
My issue was a possible Slab Leak in my home. My warranty covers Slab Leaks. When the Highway Plumbing ""technician"" came, he used a meter-like device to measure the temperature of my bathroom walls and tile flooring. He then stated he didn't have the equipment to measure the temperature beneath the carpet in the adjacent hallway, however, another company, American Leak Detection does have it. He told me that he had to call Old Republic (although my warranty specifically covers slab leaks) and I offered to show him my warranty. He goes to his truck for about 5-8 minutes, comes back and says that American Leak can loan him the needed equipment for $500 and I would only need to pay him an additional $250. An Old Republic agent who identified herself as ""Angie"", called me about 3 minutes later and tendered the same offer. I refused, noting my warranty coverage.
I wrote an email to Old Republic' ""dispute department"" challenging the $125 Service Call Fee . It was subsequently waived. I can't be certain, however, I do wonder if there are Agents of some Home Warranty companies that conspire with willing service providers to dupe Plan Holders. In the future I will check the Better Business Bureau website for selecting my Home Warranty company, and hopefully a company that allows the warranty holder to select the service provider.

This company has been to my house to fix a leak 3 times in the same pipe. They were contacted by AHS my warranty company. This all happened in a 6 month period. They keep telling AHS they fix the leak. When they are just putting a temporary fix. The tech said there is 10 feet of bad pipe that needs to be replaced. They say that AHS does not cover that. Which in fact they cover replacement of existing piping in the home. Now I have AHS sending out another plumber to fix it right. They need to do things correctly and be honest to the customers. It costs everyone time and money when not done right the first time.

They were contracted through my home warranty. When they came out my toilet had two issues, and I told the plumber. He fixed the easy problem and told me the other one was fine. I asked 3 times because IT DID NOT LOOK FINE. He kept saying it was. He took advantage of the face that I am a woman and not as knowledge. A few weeks later that ""non issue"" got a whole lot worse. I had an uncle come look at it and he said this was definitely broken at the time.

My garbage disposal decided to burn out on me at 8pm, right after returning from out of town. I was streeeesssed. Made a claim online with my warranty company and Highway called me by 9am the next morning to set up a SAME DAY appointment. Isaac was really great! He called before he arrived to tell me that he was 15 min out. When he arrived, he quickly diagnosed the issue and had to get a part. He went to the store to get the part and had it installed and completed within an hour! Super impressed!

I had a washer drainage that was clogged and was using my warranty to repair. The guy that came was not very cordial. He would not even move the washing machine aside so he can work on the drain. He made me do it. He then calls the warranty company (first united) and tells them some bogus reson that cancels warranty. He did not even do the job right. I was furious with the warranty company telling them I wanted to cancel them. They compromised by sending a different contractor who not only fixed the problem but said the problem was not what the Highway plumbing contractor said. Unbelievable!

Worst ever!!! Everything lacks in this company! Quality, service, integrity, cost, time, you name it. Please save yourself from the frustration!

It wasn't their fault my warranty companied didn't cover my issues with my house.
Be aware,
They do not offer roof drainage services.

So if getting on the roof to unclog your bathtub is the only solution, they can't help.

Because I hired them for a toilet plumbing issue and he said he fixed the issue but I was concerned that there would be water damage underneath the toilet eventually getting worse creating mold and he said he didn't check so I asked why he wouldn't do that and he said it shouldn't be a issue but when I went to sign he wrote that if there is water damage under the toilet that he wouldn't be responsible. I did sign that but regret it. HOW UNPROFESSIONAL!

Home shield home warranty called these quacks out to our beautiful half million dollar home. This guy had no idea what he was doing, and he did not find the leak. Said it was a bad calk job in tub. They are rude, un professional, and left our home worse than when they entered. We have fired American home warranty and are speaking with legal counsel. This IS A VERY LOW GRADE OUTFIT. Check the BBB and read other reviews. Don't get taken like we did.
