In my experience Hernandez Plumbing is over priced and not transparent about their pricing. In addition, it seems they inflate their estimates to cover their 'promise' to credit their hefty assessment fee. I requested a quote for an angle stop replacement to connect an icemaker and a garbage disposal check. I was told that it would be $150 for them to come assess and quote the work needed to be done, but they told me the $150 would be credited in the quote against the price of the work - I even clarified with the person scheduling that the credit would be applied if they needed to come back to do the work. After a 20 min assessment, they told me the garbage disposal was a safety hazard and needed to be replaced immediately. I asked for a quote and they would send a quote after I paid the assessment. Once paid, they sent me a quote a few hours later. They quoted the garbage disposal for $591 and $280 for the angle stop. I felt the quote was very high and requested details about the parts and labor required to do the work so that I could understand why it was so high.... no response. I called and emailed a few times and still recieved no response. fter 2 days, since it was flagged as a safety issue, I ended up having another provider supply and install the garbage disposal for $300. The provider also mentioned to me that the $591 quote was absurd. I still wanted to see if I could salvage the $150 paid for the assessment, so I continued to follow up for a quote for only the angle stop. They replied to me after a week with an updated quote of $491 (75% more than the original $280)! Still no explanation of the work required and no explanation was given for the price change. Definitely bad business on their part.

They answered my messages and calls right away and went to see the problem immediately. It wasn't an emergency but they diagnosed and fixed it within 24 hours. Also followed up a short time later to make sure everything was working the way it was supposed to. Definitely recommend if you want to fix your problem fast.

Now my go to plumber, and could not recommend more. Their team got a new hot water heater installed for us earlier this year last minute after the other plumber bailed - and charged less than what the other plumber quoted. They also did a sewer inspection for us when we moved into our new house (humoring all my questions along the way); and the technician snaked a drain without charge while he was there!

Quoted $1000 for a job to replace a small piece of drain pipe. It then increased to $1500 during the conversation. And when I asked for a written quote it increased to $3600. I did it myself for $100 in parts and tools instead

Hernandez plumbing is a realizable company to use. They responded fairly fast to service request and found the solution to my plumbing issues. I have used their company several times so far. In my opinion they are an honest company and are competitively priced. I always request for Zamir to come out to give me a quote and get the job done quick and efficient.

The repairman, Ariel, arrived within the time scheduled. His demeanor was friendly, professional and accommodating. Ariel explained the process and went straight to work. He did a great job and I am a happy customer. I would highly recommend Hernandez Plumbing again.
