I was very apprehensive about Jr. He guaranteed that his install would eventually leak and he planned for that to happen. Not what I wanted to hear from someone that didn't sound like he knew what he was talking about, after all his FATHER had been in business for so many years. I suggest you get other bids. There are businesses like yours that don't deserve to be. I'm not ""hassaning"" any reputable, honest, and intelligent company. Your many negative reviews on Yelp outshine your bogus 5-star ratings. Go out of business soon Gomerita. Or is it Gooberita?

This review is for Herk's Jr.

Was very nice and professional on the phone. However, the actual in person experience was not. He gave an approximate quote over the phone with the caveat that pricing could change depending on actual work. I am perfectly fine with that caveat.

Once inside our house....

- Was very capricious and inconsistent in conversations; especially around price. I knew going in that I could expect changes in prices and I am fine with that. But what I am not comfortable with is prices changing every few minutes while doing the job. This is after an hour or so of actually being inside the house and him being familiar with the actual work

- Left abruptly giving flimsy and trivial reason.

- Did not finish the job that was agreed on phone.

I have all receipts and documentation.

I called on a Saturday morning to get immediate assistance on plugged up shower drain. I chose this business based on the reviews and reliability...or so it seemed. Herk's sent someone but didn't even solve the immediate issue. Didn't offer to snake the sewage line. They did want to sell us a $6000 fix for the re-piping of of our sewage line.

We got a second opinion from a plumber we know and they told us Kerk's should have at least snaked it. I leave it to the experts to know what's best but in this case there was not enough attention to detail.

I called Kerk's the next day and told the representative that we didn't have an immediate fix or effort made on behalf of the plumber. they said they would call me back...but haven't heard back to this day.

I have never received less than 5 star service from Herk's. This time it was disposal and two shower arms/new heads. A little pricey? Not really if you value your time and getting the job done right the first time.

Thank Goodness for Herk's Plumbing! Our hot water heater stopped working suddenly. After troubleshooting and trying to figure out the issue ourselves, I called Herk's Plumbing. Someone showed up first thing the next morning, identified the issue and replaced my hot water heater quickly. I would happily recommend Herk's Plumbing to anyone needing help with any plumbing issue.
