I've been a customer of Herks for a number of years. I recently had a situation with my shower valves. Called Herks and Herk Jr and Eddy arrived to to assess my situation. They were prompt, communicated very well and level my expectations as to what the fix to my shower problem was. we scheduled work for later the following week.

When next they arrived to begin the work to fix my leaky shower, again they called again to ensure all was ready to go, arrived promptly and quickly got underway. Herk Jr, Eddy and Shawn displayed professionalism, their masterful craft and kindness as they were able to remedy my problem.

I am very pleased with the result and this further adds that I'll be a Herks lifelong customer.

Thanks guys, you always go out of your way to help those in need. My family and I appreciate you.

Herk's was able to schedule us same day. Then called ahead when a slot opened and was at my house with in minutes. Dustin was very professional and was able to snake and unclog our kitchen sink of grease in minutes. VERY affordable. Love supporting family businesses and will definitely be calling them for any of our plumbing needs.

The house has plumbing problem. Called Herk's Plumbing. They came out and worked on it the next day. That evening the house was flooded with sewer water. Called The company again, a plumber was sent and took a ball of root from the sewer line that night. Then we were told the sewer line needs to be replaced with multiple thousands of dollars. After the section of sewer line was replaced, the City staff came and found there are still tree roots like a hand with many fingers still in the sewer line within our property line. Called the company again and sent the City's picture, The company has to send plumber again to snake (cut) it out.

The guy who came out was able to arrive within 30 mins of my call, he was nice, and that's where the good ends.

$250 for 40 mins of work is criminal. This is an industry that holds you hostage to your own repair needs. You get to choose between astronomical rates and sewage pouring into your house.

He left me to repair and fix the pipe he dug up and knocked a hole into fire the rooting. Told me to unfold a soda can, use that to cover the hole, and then just pile dirt on top of it. For $250 you'd think the repair guy could do that little bit of repair.

I would highly suggest replacing your dispatcher (who seemed very annoyed to have to field my call early on a Sunday morning.... get a different job?) position with a customer service representative position, who actually has knowledge of the company and can answer questions before being charged for a site visit. When asking about services or pricing, she said she was just the dispatcher and didn't know any of that, but this morning discussing that the problem wasn't solved yet, she seemed to know everything about the process and prices. Just another skeezy tactic to get them out to your house and charge you for the visit.

I challenge you to be better, but you won't because $$$$

Edit for response: You bet I'm complaining! People are poor! I had to choose between having sewage in my house and being able to poop and pee, vs eating something other than Ramen for the next few weeks.

If you don't want to work on the weekend then close up shop and don't work on the weekend. Grocery stores don't charge extra for being open on the weekend. Gas stations don't charge extra for being open on the weekend. Thousands of businesses are open on the weekend and they don't charge anything extra.

Your response reads like ""Well, we pillage, plunder, and steal less than other pirates, so you should be thankful.""

AND the bathtub is still draining slowly so you didn't fix anything.

It's only 8:15 and I've been throwing up all morning. I'll call now so you can have your precious money!

Our hot water heater was leaking and Herk Plumbing was our first call. They offered to come out right away. They did a fantastic job, as usual. Our problems were solved right away. Herk Plumbing is a fantastic company. They are kind, responsive, honest, and excellent in their field. They never disappoint. We sed Herk's plumbing for the 1st time today. We were having trouble with our toilets flushing and thought maybe something was clogging the line.
The guys called to let us know that they would be here within a 1/2 hr. and they were. They came in and made an assessment of our problem and had it totally resolved in less than an hour!!
We can't say enough about this company!! They're honest, fair priced, polite and friendly. Not to mention they're pretty darn good at what they do!!
If you're having any plumbing issues I would HIGHLY recommend calling Herk's!! I know we will if we ever have plumbing issues again!! Thank you guys!! You were life savers!! Great job!!

Fantastic plumbing service! I called Herk's recently for help with fixing a leak in the bathroom. I was extremely impressed. Herk's quickly fixed my issue, was friendly, professional, and explained everything clearly. Highly recommend!

Best service and quality work plus reasonable rates. Dustin and one of his crew members came to install a soft water unit and did an amazing job not without some hurdles but that doesn't stop them. Dustin is the best hands down.
