THIS IS as good as it gets. Christmas week.

Herk's team called in about 15 minutes, and I was fortunate because he was working on my street. He showed up a few minutes later... There was no major issue, just my naivety. And, he was pleased to help, asked me how I was referred to him ( on Yelp), and looked my house over to see if everything was in order. I could not have asked for a better person. That means much to me, because as a woman alone, letting a man in the house, is always a worry. And, because he is bonded, I feel a bit safer with that fact, but still always a concern. He is a gentleman. And, left not charging me but by giving me assurance and guidance on how to care for my toilet. Hire him. He will do you well....

Herk himself showed up less than two hours after i called! He asked me to explain what was going on and what if anything i had tried. He then tried to light the pilot light just to confirm, went to his van, the graphics on it are hilarious, brought back a part , thermocoupler, and in about 10 minutes, it was fixed! I'm in Turlock and he's in Modesto. This being the Saturday before Christmas, i was praying not to have to sell my kids presents to pay for hot water. I was very surprised how affordable he was given the circumstances. He's a fair honest man. Highly recommend him and will continue to use his services when needed.

I think I found the problem myself but Herk came out to check the entire system. He did not charge me anything for the inspection! I would definitely recommend Herk's Plumbing for any plumbing job.

Called them around 4 on a Saturday and they came within an hour to diagnose my issue of a leaking water heater. Turns out I needed a new one which they were able to install early the following day. I was impressed with their availability and turnaround time especially since it happened on the weekend and towards the evening of the day. They came out early the next day like they said and installed the water heater and completed the job in about an hour and a half which included explaining some important info regarding my new water heater which I was grateful for. They also charged me what they quoted which was a plus as needing a new water heater was all the surprise I could take in one weekend. I would recommend them due to their professionalism and availability for service calls. I know who I'm using for all my plumbing needs!

I needed someone to rooter out my main line --- AGAIN! I thought it was tree roots. That's what other companies told me; though after routing, we never saw roots in the sewer. Well, the last guy said he didn't see any roots at all! My back toilet and shower backs up again -- I call Herks. I read on Yelp Herk's had fair prices. I read the reviews. Only one bad review; which, made me question the writer more than Herk's. Here's my experience: ON TIME! MORE THAN FAIR FEE! Before I even made it home to meet them they were at my home and ALREADY WORKING! That's impressive! They were here less than 1/2 hour, found the real culprit for my previous problems was an open clean out; which probably was collecting dirt, and then packing in the main line. It is now capped off. I feel I have finally found a REAL Plumber! I am so incredibly happy with the work done today--their card is on my refrigerator!!
