I Just had Herk and Eddie come to my house to fix my shower. They did an amazing job. I called earlier today and they were here in about an hour. They really knew their stuff! Herk jr came to snake our sewer line today and was polite and super perfessional in every aspect. I appreciate company's like this that actually care about making the customer happy. We had Herk's out several times through 2020 starting when we discovered a massive plumbing leak. As in a lake of sewage under our house, and the water was still running when discovered so we knew we needed help immediately. These things don't happen at convenient times-- for us it happened on a Sunday, and we had a suspicion it would be tricky to get anyone to come out and help us. Herks quelled these fears by returning our voicemail within minutes of getting it and having someone at our property within the hour. Now granted, in such a situation we didn't have the luxury of shopping around and comparing prices with other contractors, but did we get over charged?--nope! The assessment seemed fair and reliable.

And so we've stuck with them as our local plumbers for various jobs, now and have a pretty good sense of how they run things. Now I see many of the other reviews describe them as professional. This is where I would both agree but also disagree. They are professional in how the business itself is operated: arrival times and quotes are accurate, work is trustworthy and solid. But the individuals who've come to our house (including the family) have been a bit rough around the edges. I wouldn't expect people who roll out of bed on a Sunday to come wade in someone's toilet water would anything but a bit rough, so I don't hold it against anyone. But if you hear stories about prison time, or perhaps be cat-called from one of the unmistakable Herk's trucks, don't be surprised; I warned you!

This is the second or third home I've used Herk's plumbing on. We had just moved in and found out we had not hot water in one of our showers. I had previously had out home warranty company out to service the valve. They would not service the shower valve. Herk's to the rescue! Herk's service tech was in and out in less than an hour including running to the hardware store to get the needed part. Problem solved! I'm not sure that I will ever call anyone different for my plumbing needs.

Herk (son) replaced my toilet when he couldn't get the Popurri my 2 year old stuck in the toilet. They tried giving me options, but at the end i was due to get a new one after 15 years. They went to get the toilet and it was hassle free for me as the homeowner.
