Our skilled team provide punctual, top-quality service and honest advice, allowing you to enjoy a comfortable home—in any the season.
Heritage began as a family venture, founded by brothers with just one vehicle. Now, the brothers (along with their now-adult children!) manage a business with more than 100 service trucks that delivers exceptional, client-centered solutions across homes in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Southern Maine.
At our core, we are a family-owned business with a strong track record for providing excellent service at a competitive price. Clients often tell us that they notice our service trucks throughout the area, which is accurate since many of our technicians are likely that one of our team members is also your neighbor. This local presence allows us to respond swiftly to support you with your home plumbing, heating needs, air conditioning issues, and electrical needs. It also helps us to uphold our commitment to excellent service.
Craig leads Heritage along with his brother, Steve. His sons, Brad and Tyler, as well as his niece, Ashley, work together to run the business. Craig prioritizes service quality, courteous staff, and improving the image of the industry.

Paul C.Don't call them. Told us we needed a new furnace. Quoted us a very high Price. We contacted another company & they installed it at half the price.
Robert M.Heritage is three times more expensive for equipment than Lowes. A Water Heater they sell for $1900. Lowes sells the same equipment for $450. Heritage charges $1350. when the average plumber charges $400.for the installation.
They sold us a State brand manufactured water heater. This product failed 4 times in 9 years. Average of a new water heater every 2 years. Each warranty replacement was pro rated until the 4th defective unit had no warranty left. But Heritage blamed State and wanted to charge $1350 for installing a new unit with no warranty. Talk about DECEPTIVE Practices.
Shop around before you use Heritage.
State said Heritage did not tell the truth about the warranty. They were just looking to charge an additional installation fee.
Dont walk away from Heritage...RUN. !!!
These guys are snakes quoted me 900 to replace a water expansion tank 40 dollar part. Called a local plumber who did it in 45 minutes for 300 bucks. They work off commission and lie and cheat.
I will just reiterate what so many others here have said. Heritage Plumbing is just a bunch of money grubbing thieves.
Had a technician visit to give a quote for a whole house water filter installation. He said himself it was a simple job, maybe 3 hours of work. The quote? $1500...for less than 3 hours. This was literally three times the amount of another quote I received. I gave him my credit card for the ""service visit fee"" and sent him away.
The card didn't go through properly, so for weeks afterward they hounded me about getting their $89. I tried to explain I was not in any rush to pay a visit fee just to receive a price gouging quote. But they were not even interested in having the decency to wave that fee and insisted it be paid.
DO NOT CALL HERITAGE. It will be a waste of your time and your money.
Petr M.These guys are asshats ""oh we can't repair your hot water on demand system"" luckily for you we can install a system for 15k your old one was a cheap system(13k) really you guys suck thanks for nothing.
Two of the zones in my heating system were not working. As we had worked with Heritage in the past we called them again. They came out and the tech told me that it was the controller. As an ELECTRICAL ENGINEER, I showed the tech that it was NOT the controller as if he by-passed, hot wired it, or simply change the zones around they would still not work and it had to be the zone valves. He then spent 2 hours man-splainging to me telling me it was my Nest Thermostats and that they do not with the controller that I have. Even calling another tech and asking questions calling me ""a stupid woman"". He then sold me a LARGER controller and it STILL DID NOT WORK! The then replaced the zone valves and it DID work. He did not charge me for the zone valves but DID charge me over $1000 for the controller PLUS INSTALLATION that you can purchase from Lowes for $200. I asked him to leave the old controller so that I could have it looked at and he did not. I called the office and left messages and never got a return phone call. I now need to have some toilets replaced and am going to have to call someplace else as I can only imagine what I will be charged for a wax seal. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!!
Honey DON'T Call Heritage! They will over charge us just like other customers who have posted here on Yelp. A plumber from heritage came out to diagnose a toilet leak and he diagnosed it Wrong. Then he wanted to over charge me to repair it, I paid the initial service call fee and told him ( I am not going to let you OVER charge me, you can leave). He wanted 375.00 to change Tank to bowl rubber seals that cost 12.00 at home depot and took about 20 min to change, ( i changed them myself). It turns out the wax ring was actually the source of the leak. Do Not Hire this company unless you like throwing away money. Yelp needs a Negative star option ( one star is to high however its my only option!)
I want to congratulate the owner of heritage for running the worst plumbing business. The negative reviews about this company are over whelming.
I hired Heritage to install a water softener. Everything seemed to go well so I signed up for the home advantage program they have. It's like $69 dollars a year. Supposed to get priority scheduling etc. called them this August to schedule furnace cleaning for both my houses. Next available appointments were January. Ok.....so I had them put me on a cancellation list. They called today and went to clean one of the furnaces. When they were finished they called to tell me and my husband that he had to ""red tag"" the furnace. Which means disable/condemn it. As in we need a new one. Which they can sell us! After we pay the $160 fee for the cleaning, filter changing and all the other maintenance they did to the furnace they then disabled. Make sense to any of you? I was told by someone I work with that their friend used to work at Heritage and he had to quit because he couldn't handle the company's policies on up charging, selling unnecessary things etc. I didn't want to believe it but after listening to the guy try to tow the party line on how cleaning, servicing and replacing parts and filters in a furnace he was going to disable because it was unsafe made sense I'm beginning to believe it.
Called for emergency service on water heater. The person on the phone was cordial and helpful but made me think they were coming to help me with a few small issues to get my hot water back. Instead, the technician arrived and did nothing but say why the work could not be done, quoted me a new $4,000 (believe it or not) water heater, tried to sell me yearly appliance insurance. Used high level sales techniques to explain to me why Heritage is so,so,so expensive. I was still charged $89.00 for the service call. I spent 89 bucks to get a salesman in my house. I called Harry W. Wells and Son, got the quote free over the phone, work scheduled within one day at well under Heritage's price. I would suggest seeking other service providers in this area other than Heritage. I felt like I was given a ""bait and switch"" con.
The technician came on time, and he was very professional and pleasant. He gave us an estimate of &492. We accepted because we assumed that it would be a difficult and lengthy job. He was done after an hour and billed us the above amount. That is a rip-off. I am willing to pay a premium for a quality job. But this is ridiculous and it keeps me from hiring them again.
