Backflow valve assessment. We provide services for replacing and repairing water heaters, bathtubs, showers, toilets, sinks, faucets, garbage disposals, and frost-free hose bibs. We serve Carson City, Minden, Gardnerville, and surrounding areas. My expertise includes plumbing remodels and new builds.
In 1977, I started my plumbing training in the San Francisco Bay Area with a small plumbing firm. I quickly joined an apprenticeship program, where I attended school two evenings a week for four years, minus summer vacations. I worked for several plumbing firms during this program, gaining experience in diverse plumbing installations. In 1988, I launched my own business in San Jose. I then moved my family to Klamath Falls, OR, where I ran Helwig Plumbing Co. during the 1990s. Currently, I live in the picturesque Carson Valley, specifically the Minden-Gardnerville region, delivering services via Helwig Plumbing Co..
I attended a four-year plumbing apprenticeship program from 1982 to 1986. For more than 15 years, I have been self-employed. I graduated from high school in San Jose and pursued over two years of general education at community colleges. I also worked as a partial owner and estimator for a mid-sized plumbing firm. My responsibilities included supervising staff, managing projects, CAD drafting, and overseeing company operations. I am now focused on addressing the service and repair needs of the Carson City area, including Minden and Gardnerville.
