My realtor pointed me to Dave to get some help on a clogged sewer drain, and while he told me right out that he was solidly booked, he also pointed me the in right direction.

Dave asked for my address, and even looked through his calendar to see if he could make it work to have his machine came by (4 stars already for going above and beyond).

Once I clarified with him where the problem was - which was paper coming out of the square curb-side vent - he directed me to call 311. Apparently it's the city's not yours to deal with. And super easy - they'll send someone out in 24 hours. Good to know! (5 stars)

The reviews on yelp looked great, but I couldn't get past the rude, cranky receptionist. I called to get an estimate of what it would cost to unclog a couple of drains, as well as their availability. The woman answering the phone was so unpleasant and unprofessional that I decided not to bother and will go with another plumber.

Heise's came highly recommended by a neighbor of mine. Tried twice to call and on both occasions the female answering the phone was short and curt. I guess I'll just have to plan my sewer blockage a little further in advance if I need to call Heise's again.

Used these guys a couple of times recently. Once was a scheduled, non-emergency, update to our plumbing, the other was fixing a leak - an emergency situation. I worked with Dave both times, he and his teams were very responsive and professional, quickly addressing the emergency situation.

Best part is their prices were fair based on other quotes, and I know they were not up-selling nor trying to find other issues to increase the cost of the job (that did not happen when talking to their competitors).

Horrible customer service over the phone. The woman literally sighed at me and had the most pandering voice when I asked her to clarify a simple fact. I never even made an appointment due to her rude comments.

Thomas came out to help my client install copper water lines and a drain for a washer as well as a water heater. He also installed 4 faucets ( 2 in the kitchen and 2 in the different bathrooms) and a garbage disposal.

As happens with many construction projects, there were the spatial challenges. Washer sticking out too far from the wall or bathroom faucet that I bought that was too high and wouldn't clear a shelf. Thomas maintained a good attitude and quickly resolved the problems.

I have been around construction for a while and have picked up quite a bit of knowledge. Thomas on the other hand, greatly advanced my knowledge about little known fixtures (like a bottle p trap), best plumbing fixture manufacturers and best plumbing supply stores to shop. I picked up at least 4-5 new things about plumbing repairs or supplies which makes me more knowledgeable.

This is a seasoned and highly experienced plumber. I might add that he is a pleasure to talk to, smart, funny and fast.

Dave and his crew are great. They're are go to people for water heater repairs and replacements, snaking drains etc. They do it all. Their prices are fair and they treat their employees well.

Mark came today to put in a shower valve. Mark arrived on time and corrected our problem. He explained everything very thoroughly so not only do we have a functioning shower valve now, but we have confidence in the work. We couldn't more highly reccomend Heises - Thanks Mark!

Heise's prices are very competitive and their service is the best! There is need to shop anywhere else for a plumber! I was very impressed with their responsiveness and professionalism and I am so glad I found these guys on yelp.
