Our sink had been backing up and we tried all sorts of DIY tricks and nothing worked. We had called for a tech to come out and we were worried that with the holidays it would take a little while but they were able to get to us that day AND fix the problem. Our tech also gave us tips on what we could do to help prevent the problem! Would definitely call them again for any issues. Very satisfied with them!

I needed to unclog the main line at my house. I called a different plumbing company late at night and they came over and quoted me an outragous estimate plus a late charge fee of $150. I then said no and called Hedrick and Young Plumbing the next day. These guys are the best. Not only did they give me a resonable quote; they did the job on time at the price that was agreed upon. No bait and switch!! I would totally recommend our plumber Michael Keonig.

Like one of the other customers below, I got duped into getting a my line hydrojetted. I had a sink clogged and just needed it to be cleared. I had a pleasant experience dealing with Chelsea because she was very responsive and nice. The story begins below:

1st Plumber (Dustin): ""I guarantee with a hydrojet for your clean-out line would resolve your issue."" He didn't have the hydrojet with him, so he contacted the second plumber.

2nd Plumber (Josh): ""Yeah, I am pretty confident that it will resolve your issue.""

Me: Okay. If that's what you suggest, let's do it!

After the hydrojetting, it did NOT resolve my issue and I'm out almost $400. The sink was still clogged!! I suggested that it might be from the P-trap. So the second plumber took a look and found it was clogged.

If they were pros, they would've looked at the P-trap and I would be out about $100 or so instead of the cost of the hydrojetting. I was unhappy about it and requested to talk to the supervisor. I spoke to the supervisor (John or Jacob) and he refused to make it right. He insisted I have to pay the full price of the hydrojetting, even though that's not what I initially called for. He absolutely did not want to work with me.

On top of all this, my laminate flooring was all scratched up due to Josh's snake machine. Wait...there's more...To make matters worse, his vacuum wasn't hooked up correctly and the top came off, which caused a dust storm in my kitchen!!

I really wanted to work with these guys in the future, but after having to deal with the supervisor and his unwillingness to work with me, I can no longer recommend or trust these guys. If you want to use them, please be VERY careful with the hydrojetting and that it might NOT resolve your issue.

I called these guys to take a look at a water heater that I couldn't get to light. The plumber looked at it for not more than a minute and told me I needed a new control valve for $850 (installed) and it would take 1-2 weeks to get. Or I could get a new water heater for $1400 installed the same day. I called service champions instead to take a look at it and they had it lit and working in no more than 2 minutes. He was surprised to learn that a plumber couldn't figure it out. What's worse is I had ordered the part for $130 and now have to return it. Wasted time and money for a simple fix. Not very honest.

I highly recommend Hedrick & Young Plumbing. First, someone actually answered the phone when I called. They had someone out to my house within 90 minutes, on time, as promised. Ray diagnosed the problem and took care of it in a prompt and professional manner. He was able to explain to me what was needed to be done and answered all my questions. The price was very reasonable.

Joshua is a hero had our water leak restored and water back on in less than 2 hours after calling . Vince also was extremely knowledgeable and explained step by step what needed to be done as far as restoration. I would recommend this company from the smallest to largest issue ! I didn't know my day would start out like it did yesterday morning. Toilet backed up and came out through my bathtub I FREAKED out and went straight to YELP. Contacted the first business, arrived 2 hours past the time I was told and wanted to charge me an arm and a leg. He already left a bad taste in my mouth so I decided to try and get another quote. At 2:45 P.M. called Hendricks and at 4:30 P.M. Joshua shows up and by 6 P.M. jobs as done! I couldn't have asked for a better employee and outcome. He was knowledgeable, thorough, great customer service and price was great after what I had been previously quoted. I will definitely refer and use again.
