Called HEB plumbing to repair a cracked shower drain pipe. The crack had been discovered and the ceiling had already been cut out exposing the area to be worked on. The technician starting cutting out the pipe without laying anything down under him, I stopped him to get plastic to lay down after a good amount of wet debris came out. He only had one battery to use foe both his saw and his flashlight so I provided a flashlight for the job. Once his only bucket started getting full, I provided an additional bucket, as well as a trash can for the water coming out of the pipes. Once the job was completed, both technicians left to get the invoice taken care of and return their tools to the trucks. I spent 15 minutes cleaning up. The 15 minutes was counted toward my total bill. I also paid for "biohazard" protection, which included masks, gloves, plastic and buckets. I provided both plastic AND buckets AND WAS CHARGED FOR THEM. I contacted the owner and she offered to take off the 15 minutes that I was charged for doing the cleaning myself. However, she removed the $10 credit I had been given as a new customer discount. I still got swindled as I paid for actual time work, did the clean up myself, and supplied "biohazard materials". Owner states biohazard charge was for face masks and gloves. However, one plumber did not have on an actual mask, it was a turtleneck type of device pulled up over his nose. The gloves were not disposable so why was I charged?

Great experience, my go-to plumbers from now on. I was ankle deep in shower water and had a couple of sinks that were draining slow. James was great, very clean and expedient. Cleared all my drains and everything is flowing quickly now. Even had him rooter my main drain for peace of mind, hadn't been done the whole 6 years we've lived here. Very fair and competitive price. Late last night, I walked into the garage to find the 29-year-old water heater tank had ruptured -- water everywhere! First thing in the morning, I put in a call to HEB. In a total of just under three hours from my phone call, they had shown up, quoted me on a replacement, gone to fetch it, and installed it fully, including bringing some of the surrounding pipes and accoutrements up to the modern era. They did it all with a smile (behind COVID masks ;) ) and for a price that wound up being less than I had feared it could have been.

If you're looking for a good, honest plumbing company that also works on irrigation systems, look no further. Kathlyn Smith bills herself as "The Plumbing Lady" for good reason - she is a master plumber and knows her stuff, along with the rest of her crew. Are they "cheap?" Not necessarily, but no decent plumber is. In this area, you get what you pay for and you want someone who knows what they are doing. I even had an issue about a bill once, and Kathlyn personally and patiently worked it out with me. This is a professional plumbing company with integrity.

The guys that came out were really nice, but no quote was given prior to starting the work, it only comes with a 30 day warranty for labor/90 day for parts, and the master plumber that owns the company does not come out at all because it is another big company and not the small business as portrayed on the website. Almost $300 to change two hose bibs, which I could have done myself, but chose to use them to make my life easier and support a local business. It was also nice of them to round up their time to charge more, but they did give us a $10 discount.

On Tuesday (10/30) morning, I noticed a significant leak from a broken water pipe.

I looked through Yelp for a plumber and found HEB plumbing. I gave her a call, (among a few other companies). Kathlyn was empathetic, but unfortunately said her schedule was booked all day. She understood my urgency on needing my water back on and even gave me the number to a few other plumbers in the hopes someone could fix the issue same day(I appreciated her honesty!!)

My bad luck continues as none of the companies I called were available until Thursday! I gave Kathlyn a call back, and asked if she was available Wednesday, and luckily she was! She also said she would give me a call if she had any cancellations.

I roughed it without water on Tuesday (daily showers are overrated anyway).

Wednesday morning, Kathlyn calls and confirms our appt. The two gentlemen who came out were extremely professional and finished the work quickly and efficiently. They fixed the work in about an hour (Side note: several companies predicted the job would take 4-6 hrs, but I understand these things can be hard to estimate).

When it came time to pay, I opted to pay by check (They said they could accept a credit card, but would have to phone it in, so I payed by check to avoid the hassle). They even guaranteed their work for 3 months!

Bottom line is HEB Plumbing is honest, fair and respectful of your time. I whole heartedly would recommend.

What a wonderful company. I needed a plumber to come to my house due to a clog in the bathroom pipes. It was already past noon on a monday and as a single mom I rushed home feom work to take care of the plumbing issue. I called 20 company and no luck having someone come over at the last min. THis was the first co that assured to call me back after they rearrange their schedule. Kathlyn called me back within 15 to 20 min to tell me someone will be at my house within the hour. They were on time and made sure everything was taken care of. Cant thank them enough! Will use their service in the future.
