Ryan Jolsin, Heatwave Comfort Advisor, was so experienced when coming out to my home and giving me a estimate on my New AC System. He reviewed my current system, made excellent suggestions and answered all my questions that I had. He really made me feel COMFORTable in making this big purchase. I would highly recommend talking to him before you decide on purchasing or upgrading your home AC unit. Thanks Heatwave for hiring him and sending him to my home!!

This place will rip you off! I worked for them for month booking appointments and have seen the things they do to customers. Don't get a tune up because that's their way of getting in and screwing with your unit. I can promise if you get one done you will be calling heatwave back out for service a week or so later because your unit went out. Installs are the same, the techs have no idea what they're doing and the owner Dan himself will tell the techs to watch a YouTube video to figure it out. I've seen this company also steal from people selling them fake jobs and charging them outrageously! Heatwave also doesn't pull permits for every job and will do half the work before the inspection then do some crazy stuff after trying to hide it. Everything this place does is illegal! DO NOT GO TO HEATWAVE

The owner Dan will not return my call nor answer them. I've had problem after problem after installing a new ac system along side with new ducts. Every tech that comes to fix something ends up telling me that the previous tech is no longer with the company and that he didn't know anything. So now I'm still waiting for the call back from the owner and also for the repairs. Meanwhile I will be contacting my attorney along side the news channel. We cannot aloud people to keep taking advantage of hard working people like this. I've spent over $20.000 on this and the owner doesn't have the decency to answer or return my calls and make this right??

Referred to Heat Wave by HomeAdvisor. Discussed my project (kitchen ductwork) with """"Rob"""" from Heat Wave day before appt. Appt set next day between 8am-12pm. Heat wave called at 10am to say they don't do kitchen ductwork. Took day off...very upset. Do not recommend..there are too many other HVAC companies to use.

This place is horrible, workers fell through my ceiling never called us to tell us there was an accident at my house. Called the company every day for 1 week and never received a call back. Not happy with the work I received, was told accidents happen live with it. Would not recommend very poor customer service and horrible service!!

We had water leak in the attic, so Shawn came to give us an estimate on 9/4/19. He told my father and I, that we need all new ductwork and a new unit, for around 10k. He was a very pushy salesman with an attitude, made us feel a bit uncomfortable. He reassured my 92 yr. old elderly father, who's the homeowner, that even if we just get new ductwork, it will definitely stop the leak. We wanted to think about it, but he pressured us that we had to decide right now, in order to get the price he quoted of $5,400. So we agreed to replace the ducts..they were very old anyway. Then he tells us the total is $5,606, cause of tax and yearly maintenance fee. He had said our unit was getting old and was a 2009. I confirmed later with 2 other companies, that it was a 2013 and works fine. Glad we didn't agree to replace it. He told us that we had a freon leak, and was showing us pics he took. We later confirmed with the 2 other companies, that there was not one. He said the new ducts will have a 10-yr warranty. I later find out from his boss Juan, that I was told wrong, it's only a 5-yr warranty..but he still granted me the 10. So everything Shawn told us was wrong. They came to install the next day 9/5/19. To out dissapointment, that same night the leak continued. They then sent an installer back out to try to stop the leak. He made a suggestion of what would stop it, but they wanted to charge us an additional $400 for that. I later declined that idea, wanted to get a 2nd opinion. Why should I have to pay additional money if they had promised the new ductwork would stop the leak? A few days after installation, we suddenly didn't have cold air. At this point I wanted a 2nd opinion. The 2nd company told me that this was due to poor, incomplete installation. On 9/10/19, this 2nd company, for $450, did some repairs so I could at least have some cold air. They found the supply plenum not connected to the air handler..it came apart. Ductwork was not strapped, duct connections were not secured, etc. They told us the job was only partially completed and done poorly and wrong. They even left old ductwork inside lying there. I also found out from the city, that they didn't pull a permit. I was so upset to hear this, so we tried to stop check payment with the bank, but it was too late. I finally got a live employee on the phone that wasn't the answering service. I pleaded to her, please have someone call me! The ductwork is not installed properly. She said I will make sure Courtney gets back to you within the hour. No one returned my calls. They even blocked me on Facebook Messenger when I tried to reach out. On 9/17/19 I had a third company come and tell me their opinion, and they couldn't believe their eyes. Also on this day, Heatwave finally replied and offered to have their head installer come see what's going on next week. I refused to let this fraudulent company come back. I did not trust them. I was told by other companies, that the entire thing has to be ripped out and redone. So on 9/23, the 2nd company took 5 hrs, and 3 men to install things correctly. They documented everything they found and did..and there are pics and videos. I get an email from heatwave on 9/23..( no head manager ever calls me regarding this even after asking repeatadly) they just write: """"Ma'am, we told you multiple times that the job was not complete, and you would not let us complete it. I do not know what else to tell you."""" This is totally FALSE. They NEVER told me the job wasn't completed. After 7 hours, their installers said they were all done. No one has ever told me that they weren't done with installation, or that they were coming back to finish it. I'm reporting them and taking them to court. Lots of evidence here

!! DO NOT HIRE HEATWAVE !! PLEASE READ BELOW !! When I purchased my insurance/warranty for my home, one of their perks is that they will send an AC company to do a full tuneup of my AC unit. The outline of the services offered was: Check thermostat operation Clean filter or replace (customer supplied) Check system temperature split Inspect disconnect Inspect fuses Inspect wiring Tighten electrical connections Inspect contractors, relays and pressure controls Inspect electrical safety circuits Check voltage and amperage to all motors Inspect indoor blower and motor for dirt buildup Inspect bearings and lubricate all moving parts (if needed) Inspect condensate drain Inspect outdoor coil Inspect duct seal at unit and secure panels Run and test system Interior Coil Cleaning Exterior Coil Cleaning The technician arrived (Mike) and within 1 minute (no exaggeration as the handler is right next to the front door), he removed the return vent, look inside and said """"You need a new unit. We have great incentives and prices where you can finance it to make comfortable payments"""". He said that the coil needed cleaning and that was something costly, so I might as well invest in a new system. He checked the handler with a flashlight and said that the unit was, in fact, 10 years old and would most likely stop working any minute. He provided me with a replacement quote and stepped outside for what I thought was to continue with the service call, checking the outside unit. When I noticed he wasn't returning to the house, I stepped out and saw that he was gone. He never performed the steps offered on the outline for the service call. I called my warranty company to report this, they called Heatwave and they requested that the technician return to my home and clean the coils, which was included in their coverage. The same technician returned a couple of days later, cleaned the coil and LEFT AGAIN! He did not perform ANY of the itemized checks that were expected. I called Heatwave, was told that someone would get back to me, but nobody did. I called two more times with no response. I would ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMEND this company. In my experience, their main goal is to sell units, not service them, even if they are working perfectly fine.

Only giving them 1-Star for their politeness. Due to on going smell they sent their Quality Air Tech. Mold had returned to my 'blower'. He asked how much I had to spend on repairs, stupid me told him. He charged me almost all my savings, $1,975. He cleaned blower and my limited duct in my small condo. I later followed up with another contractor since smell came back. On this visit of new contractor I asked him to remove my Air-Purifier I paid $800 to Arctic Air that was suppose to help with the smell. I went up on roof with Tech to discover Heatwave had removed my Air Purifier and a larger UV Light placed below the 'blower'. I wrote owner of Heatwave concerning either the location of the purifier or that his Tech removed and took my equipment. I have never heard any response from Heatwave. My neighbor also used them to clean his ducts and later upset with myself that he got ripped-off. I will NEVER 'recommend' Heatwave to anyone anymore. I don't have any trust in the honesty of this company. Yes I do have receipts of my $800 Air Purifier that is missing from my ac-unit.

We called Heatwave after having AC problems recently, they came right out and were very professional, explained everything well and figured out what was wrong. We have had other AC companies in the past try and sell us things we didn't need, Heatwave are not that way at all, very honest and dependable company. The head guy Dan really knows his stuff and we wont ever deal with anyone else.
