I really want to like this place because it's a successful local business. And they seem to be very busy so they must be doing something right.

Last couple visits seemed to get less experienced techs.

Last visit was told they couldn't fix AC unit. Needed to fully replace because they don't make parts anymore.

Just had someone else come out. Now the unit runs perfectly as they tested, repaired, and recharged it.

For literally a small fraction of the price.

Brand new heating system that costs a pretty penny. Improperly installed. Never worked right. Took many many visits to figure out that it was wired incorrectly from the start. People were nice but too busy (or something) to do this correctly. So frustrating!

I have contacted this company on two occasions. One was for a broken central air unit. Second time to install a new furnace. On both occasions they couldn't address any issues for 4-6 weeks. They originally installed furnace and were not willing to budge without sending out a tech. We knew we needed a furnace not a diagnosis. Obviously they don't need the business. Always an excuse why they can't do it!
Not very professional.

We are remodeling our kitchen. Had brand new appliances installed: a gas stove replaced, two toilets replaced and our new dishwasher. I was working from home and asked the plumber how it was going. He told me he was trying to ""raise the door on the dishwasher"" to lessen the hole at the top of the dishwasher and make it more flush with the countertop. He did not know that there are feet on the bottom of the dishwasher to lift the height of the dishwasher to make the space at the top flush with the countertop. He showed us the piece that he broke off from the door hinge when he was trying to adjust the dishwasher door and told us to call Home Depot. We called Harwichport and they had mention the plumber had told them him did not break the door. HE LIED!!!! He also installed a toilet improperly and it rocked back and forth every time you sit on it. This will cause the seal to break over time and the toilet to leak. This has been one of the worst experiences I've had.... It left me in tears and scared to be in my own home as they had to move our gas line to the stove and I'm questioning the safety of this. We called the company and someone came out to check our gas lines and told us that they would replace the dishwasher. I'll see what happens and how they handle it.... But the plumber who lied about breaking our appliance needs to be taught some professionalism and above all.... Honesty. Luckily there were other workers present and heard him say he broke our appliance in case this situation is not handled appropriately and professionally. See photo (He never could figure out how to install our dishwasher properly.... see photo below)

Completely blew me off all summer.
They took my $1,900 deposit almost 2 months ago!
My A/C died in the spring and they wouldn't fix it until the fall.
I was on their annual preventative maintenance program too...
I went on our local FB community page only to find out this is common.
I reached out several times without a reply, today they refunded me within 30 minutes...wish they had just called instead, but THIS is how THEY choose to do business...lesson learned.

Used this company three times and all three times they came right out! From the person that takes your call to the workers all are so helpful and professional. Highly recommend. Appreciated them coming right out with the heat not working.

I had an electrical issue with my thermostat and required some significant rework to the furnace. This company came out to the house as promised within a few days. They guys were professional, clean and through. Highly recommend. Thank you so much!

I required a split heat pump system to be installed before July 19th,a very busy time of the year for them. They promised to do the best they could. I accepted the contract on July 10th, so time was short. Harwichport HVAC went beyond expectation and had the basic equipment installed by mid Saturday, July 13th. The electrical work to connect the system was completed by mid Monday July 15th, well before the required date. Kudos for their effort. They were easy to work with, and all involved were knowledgeable, competent and friendly. It was a pleasure to do business with them. Thanks to Nick, the estimator, who helped get the installation started, to Bob(?), the installation manager, to Chris who worked on Saturday to install the equipment, and to Dave, the electrician, who got it all connected in spite of my old electrical wiring. Be sure to check out this business if you need a new AC system.

As a 14 year customer, it is sad to see HPHC in operation. Perhaps it was an ownership change but our first problem was when we returned to our home on a December Sunday: no heat and it was 50 and falling. We called the advertised ""24/7 Emergency"" service. And called and called and called. No one showed up for 24 hours. We are loyal customers, so we excused that. Now, for two weeks (and two heat spells, the third starting) we have been without a/c. A service tech came out, confirmed that our first floor unit had to be replaced and told us he would have his office give us a quote on price and installation time. We never got a call and when we did, we were treated as if we ""misunderstood"" the tech and had just sat in the heat but we DID get a new appointment for another person to show up to give us an estimate and, no, we could not be told or even given an estimate for installation. Asking for a supervisor, a Mr. Willey, we were told he was ""unavailable"" but would call us right back. That was 4 days ago. We are done with this outfit. If you need a dependable and polite company to take care of your heat, a/c or generator needs, you should check out others. HPHC is, to put it mildly, overstretched and overcommitted.
