Harp negligently and wrongly performed installation of a Bosch Combi unit (boiler for domestic hot water and baseboard heat) which made the unit call for heat and run continuously for ~4 years. When I purchased the home in September 2023 I noticed issues and took many visits and techs to to finally figure it out in April/May of 2024 which was faulty wiring causing the unit to operate incorrectly. The unit developed multiple issues because of it and was leaking from the time I bought the house (prior owner was elderly woman who didn't notice) and additionally damaged wall/carpeting/etc.

After months of re-engaging Harp they are refusing to address issue and asking me to replace the unit on my $ saying ""sorry we don't honor our installation warranty"".

This is negligent and fraudulent in my book and the worst position an HVAC contractor could take. Other courses of action are being taken with complaints on their license, potential court as well as news consumer outlet but absolutely do not want anyone fooled by them or their service. They have had very high turnover in the tech staff and managers based on their operations which only makes it worse ( the best techs leave or are left with suboptimal methods to keep customers happy and treat them fairly) happy to discuss with anyone as they shouldn't go through this same type of event.

I have been customer of Harp for over 10 years. I had them replace 2 furnaces, and my air conditioners, service my equipment and provide yearly maintanence on both heating and ac. They have gone severely downhill since COVID. They are at their worst now. They have rescheduled maintanence services multiple times. I also have signed up for contracts so they can provide me quick service. I had no heat the other day. Called them immediately at 630 AM and was told they could not provide me service that day - an extremely cold day. I told them I had small children in the house. I was told they could come next day. All day I googled and tried to figure out how to get heat. I replaced batteries, and replaced filters . I got the heat working again but I kept the appointment for them to just check it out. I was hoping they could do my maintanence when I was there as I had an appointment soon (after they cancelled it 4x) . The man who came was extremely nice and he tried to contact them. He was very sorry to tell me that he had to leave my house and also charged me 89.00 for a service call. GREAT WORK AND TOP KNOTCH SERVICE!!!
Reached out to HARP today for Gas Furnace maintenance and received the most excellent Service Tech. Jeffrey Negron (from New Yawk). His service today was thorough and knowledgeable. His troubleshooting and diagnosis was both fast and efficient. The labor and repairs were speedy and proficient.-His service skills were exceptional. Not only did he show me exactly what he was doing but he explained and broke down how the entire system worked to me. In the end, I needed a circulation pump. He promptly ordered the part picked it up from the parts center and returned to install it. His work was second to none. As a result I ended up becoming a HARP member to get the part under warranty and slightly discounted due to his helpful information. Most shockingly, after the installation was finished, instead of packing his tools and high tailing it out of the basement, Jeffrey again took the time to make sure that everything was functioning correctly and waited with me to see if the problem was fully resolved. All in all, I'd highly recommend both HARP and Jeffrey Negron (if you can request him). I know that I will if I need to be serviced again. Much thanks to Jeffrey and the HARP Team!!!! Hats off to you, MY HEAT IS WORKING GREAT!!!

Alex was our lifesaver today. We called in the morning, they fortunately had availability in the afternoon, and he fixed our heating/wiring issue after four hours. He worked tirelessly to help on a Friday afternoon and explained to us along the way. Price was reasonable. Love that they have an annual membership so that they come service and check up on your AC and heating systems twice a year. He also came prepared with shoe covers, so I didn't have to awkwardly ask for him to put any on. And he made recommendations that we can act on ourselves moving forward. They will be our go-to for all HVAC issues!

We used SolvIt as our HVAC service for over 30 years--installed AC and boilers, kept things in repair, and answered every emergency call. Then they merged with Harp or Harp merged with them, and this morning I finally cancelled them after their third boiler inspection postponement. This follows a string of spring postponements that would have set my A/C inspection for August 18--just in time for autumn! This morning was the final insult--whether they overbook or under-hire or face incompetence in the scheduling, I have lost confidence in their ability to be here...ever. We will try CNG and wait for a refund for my service-contract fee from Harp. Again, I have no complaints about the quality of their work or the skills of their workers, but the company's scattershot management style is frustrating and unprofessional. Consumers have a right to a business being run like one.

I am disgusted with this company! We paid over $15,000 for a new central air system less than two years ago and the customer service is deplorable. To keep our unit running correctly we scheduled a service cleaning over the summer. They canceled on us last minute without notifying us in advance because they were busy. With the weather being so hot we were very understanding. They then booked our appointment for tomorrow in November 5 months later! Well, here we are the night before and I had to call the company to confirm they were still coming and was told the appointment has been canceled and they don't do cleaning services in November! We never canceled our first appointment. This is not on us. They should honor their appointments! I would never recommend this company to anyone moving forward. Clearly, once they have your money, they are done with you.

Called for a rip and replace solution for a broken wall mounted combi boiler. Quoted just over $12,000. Had the system replaced the next day for a little more than half of what Harp quoted. Be careful! Get multiple quotes!

Shame on you harp ..... I have never heard of such nonsense.. how can you be installing a new furnace not finish the job and pack up and tell the customer it's up to them to schedule the finish of the install... absolute joke.. and when you try to schedule completion of install you can't get ahold of anyone.... should have listened to reviews....a 15k plus job that is half done and have to wait until at least Monday to get done and haven't had hot water now for three days... what a joke... I will shout from the roof to don't use harp
