Our home warranty company, American home shield sent this company to our property to find out why water was squirting up from a hole in our kitchen floor. The technician found a tiny spot of water under the dishwasher and concluded that the dishwasher was causing the leak, even though it was clear that the water hadn't extended past the dishwasher and was so small it couldn't possibly be responsible for the water under the floor. I contacted the company and was assured that a supervisor would accompany the technician the following day to determine where the leak was coming from. The supervisor never showed up and the technician admitted that the water wasn't coming from the dishwasher and that he wasn't going to investigate further. AHS has agreed to not charge us for the 2 visits since absolutely nothing was accomplished. As a military member I have lived in several states and have owned several homes and never have I dealt with such an inept, rude company. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. If you are a military member and are using AHS and this company has been assigned to you please know that you can insist that AHS assign you a different company. We will definitely be reporting this company to the BBB.

This was the company that American Home Shield uses in my parents area for plumbing issues. When their faucet was leaking, this is the company that was sent to them. In trying to fix it, they broke the two hot water/cold water knobs. Instead of fixing it, we were told the whole thing would need to be replaced. They guy lied to our American Home Shield company and told them that someone had tried to fix the faucet before when that was never done. This caused American Home Shield to not cover this. Hardy Plumbing said they would replace it but they couldn't schedule a time and were uncommunicative for days after, not returning phone calls or messages when we wanted to know if a faucet was ordered. After 10 days of no water in our kitchen, they finally came to install the faucet. They charged $595 without any kind of break down of the cost. When we look up the cost of the exact model faucet they bought, it's no more than $250 online. They were here less than an hour to install it and then charged close to $600. This is a company we will never use again. And we will make sure everyone knows about the way we were treated.

Employee came out and said he needed part and would return the following day. I asked what time and he said QUOTE """"I can't give you a time yet because that associate comes in at 3:30am to do the scheduling...but you're definitely in the books for tomorrow!"""" Needless to say, next day, 11am...haven't heard anything so I called and not only was I NOT scheduled, but I was essentially called a liar as the worker I quoted above denied saying it! No apology, no accountability, no responsibility and certainly no integrity!! WHEN THE EMPLOYEE LIES AND THE BOSS DOES NOTHING ABOUT IT AND THEN EXPRESSES NO REASONABLE RESOLUTION OR HONOR TOWARDS THE CUSTOMER AND THEIR DILEMMA!!!!

An outside faucet disconnected from the pipe at 7:30 pm. I called Hardy Plumbing, and Eric arrived within an hour. He finished the job in no time, and was extremely thorough and respectful. Excellent price for the after hours call and skill set. Definitely recommend for your 24 hour plumbing needs.

They do shoddy work. Just save yourself the time and money and get someone else who will do a job right the first time and not have your pipes coming apart months later because they were in a rush and didn't really care.

Nice guy, but I wasn't informed of their $98 show-up fee until after the fact. I just wanted a second opinion and wouldn't have had them come if I knew about that.

Totally rude incompetent people that don't care at all about their customers or doing a good job. I had a leak in my basement and the upstairs conditioner is totally broken. I paid for a service call but the man who I spoke to on the phone did not convey that the upstairs air was broken and he told me the downstairs was broken which is not the case. These guys are thieves and shysters! Beware

In Jan 18 while lying injured in Bed suffering with a broken ankle, thumb with torn ligaments and tendons, damage, etc. I was notified that the ceiling caved in downstairs by my Sister who was caring for me. We learned later that a pipe burst in the kitchen ceiling. Numerous plumbers were called to provide emergency services including Hardy Plumbing. I was not able to ascertain the damage at the time as I was bedridden. Hardy Plumbing at the time of the call stated they could not provide services at the time because their servicemen were out on calls. Water was running down the steps and on the street in addition to saturating all of the first floor. JR's Handyman Services responded and immediately came over to turn off the water which was all over the house and garage. USAA was called and they called a company to start vacuuming up the water. Later in the day or hours later, Hardy Plumbing showed up and we told them another company had come and turned off the water. No services were provided by Hardy Services and they in turn sent me a $95.00 bill for coming out hours later! I have placed several calls to Hardy Plumbing to discuss this in more detail. They will not return calls but did in fact send this matter to collections.

This is probably the worst company in all of the CSRA. Almost a year ago, I believed that I had a potential gas leak in my house. After a long night with the fire department and gas company, I was instructed to contact a plumbing company that could perform a test to discover if I had any leaks throughout the gas line. My wife called this company and explained our situation and we had someone come out the next day. When the plumber arrived, he was unaware of the situation and called my wife to discuss what happened. He never went any further than my front door and told my wife that he couldn't perform that task now as it would take several hours and we needed to reschedule with his company. He also stated that if the gas company checked the line that it was fine because they were strict on the guidelines of the gas line. My wife asked if we needed to pay him for a service charge and he told us no since he did not do anything. Needless to say a month later we received a service bill for $100. I have called numerous times to discuss the charge and have never received a call back from a manger or supervisor. I have now been taken to collections for this charge. I'm not sure if they do good work or not but I wouldn't trust them to be ethical.

Horrible. Tried to tell us we needed $500-$700 worth of work done. My husband then discovered there wasn't actually a problem that needed to be fixed so we cancelled the appointment. Next thing you know we get a bill for $95. They tried to sell us on work that didn't need to be done then charged us because we said no! unbelievable! When we tried to call the office to speak to a manager it took a FULL MONTH to get a response, even with us calling nearly everyday. Don't give them your business.
