I just had my condenser replaced. Hansen came out on time and replaced the unit in about an hour. Everyone was nice and professional. The install was clean looks great! They certainly know what they are doing.

on april 11th $16000.00 for a new hvac system!!! only for us to sit in an 80 degree house!!!! might work 1 day next day no....every other day there is a problem hasn't worked right yet!!!! come back from vacation to a flood!! $2000.00 estimate on floor damage ruined our furniture on first install visit (which they did pay to clean) they have been here 5 times including yesterday and it's still not working properly!!!!! hansen heating and air your days are numbered!!!!! i have never in my life seen such unprofessionalism!! one employee left his weed vape!! another one peed all over bathroom floor!!!! this cannot be real life!!!!!!! lawyer contacted done better business bureau done attorney generals office done federal trade commission next

requested someone come out and do a diagnostic. Adam came out and when up to the attic , """"drain needs to be unclogged and it'll be $242 to repair """" I advised him that Thursday would be a good time to come back out and repair . before calling Hansen ac service our air was coming on and cooling it just wasn't cooling like it normally has been On occasions the ac would cut off before reaching its set temp but it always came back on NEVER STAYED OFFAND TEMP NEVER GOT HIGHER THAN 76 degrees. App while Adam was in my home the air was on , mysteriously when I denied getting services done today it stopped working and never cut back on . after several hours I called back letting them know hey maybe he flipped a switch or something but now my air is not coming back on , Everyone wants to pass the message to someone else and call and make it seem as if I'm dumb but im definitely not . no one came back out and I am taking further actions about my ac . If you know like I know you would not even use Hansen as a last resort . if I could give them 0 stars I would they don't deserve one . full of scammers and money hungry workers .

Hansen does the job well. However they way overcharge for parts and service. I was charged $365 for a $25 part and less than 30 minutes of service (it took about 15 minutes to replace the part) I will be looking for a different company to call next time I need HVAC service. This is the second time they way overcharge. Last time they installed a new thermostat. The part costs $50 at Lowe's and they charged $200 the job took about 30 minutes but they charged for an hour. They installed a heat pump thermostat and I do not have a heat pump. Their $25 service fee is deceptive since they tack on another $70 if they do anything except look. That's $95 for a service charge for under 30 minutes. Very unreasonable. Find a different company.

I do not recommend this company to anyone. They came out for a service call, said everything was working but the coil needed to be clean. He showed us how to clean the coil. We did exactly what he said and the unit wouldn't come on. We called them back and set up another appointment, which the """"boss"""" cancelled without even notifying us. We waited all day, we only found out it had been cancelled when we called to see where they were. The """"boss"""" then continues to curse and say we had done something to the unit and refused to come back out. He called with an attitude and wouldn't even talk rationally to us. Don't waste your money with this company!

Hansen installed two HVAC units for us and serviced them over the past six years. We had a semi-annual contract with them and had them repair duct insulation. They are always quick to call to update me on arrival times, and someone is always available when there is any problem. They stand behind their equipment and their pricing is fair. We have since moved from that home and I have called them to install programmable thermostats in our new home. Scheduling an appointment was easy and Emily was very accommodating. The technician made sure I understood how to operate the new units before leaving and his installation was tidy and clean. Always polite and efficient staff. We have chosen Hansen to service the units In our new home too.

Spent over $15000 on a whole new ac unit and duct work one year ago. My thermostat shows it's 81 degrees and it's set to 70. Should have done more research and gone with a different company. After about a dozen service calls it gets worse every time they come

They have been servicing my rental properties in Mobile for years. For AC, the work and prices had been ok, acceptable that is. But they were called to one of my properties a couple of weeks ago to check on AC not cooling and an electrical issue. They replaced a capacitor on the AC and got it working again, the price was ok, BUT although they were already there, on the same call and the same serviceperson, they charged me $175 to reset, YES to RESET, a tripped GFI. How do you do that to a years long, multi-property owner? How do you explain charging $175 to push a button on a GFI outlet. Off course I'll have to also have a talk with the tenants, they are suppose to first try resetting circuit breakers and checking GFI outlets before just calling a repairman. I can accept ignorance on part of my tenants, but what Hansen Heating and Air has done is not just bad customer service, it's abusive and it's dishonest.

Our A/C went out on a Thursday. We decided it was time to replace the whole system, and called Hansen. Made an appointment for the owner to come out the following Monday (bear in mind we are without air in Mobile, in June, for Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday). Left work early Monday for appointment, which was for 5 pm. At 5:10 pm I get a call that the person who is supposed to be at my house is stuck in traffic in Fairhope and will be late (I live in West Mobile). OK, things happen, thanks for the update. Well, at 6:30 pm, I get a call, he's STILL working in Fairhope, and can I reschedule? So....I was LIED to!!!! He was on the way at 5:10, but still on the job at 6:30. Not cool. Yes, I can reschedule, but not with them! The appointment had been set for 4 days, no air for 4 days and if this is the type of service provided, we do not want to do business with them. Hansen Heating & Air used to provide good services but they are expensive, very expensive. I do call their sales man to handle the different issues. Last time, I called them but they did not respond me. Most of their technician are rude.
