Very, very impressed with Handy Andy Hawaii. Had my wood-rotten lanai almost completely rebuilt, and the results are astonishing! Shout out to Nick, who handled the appraisal and estimate, and to Phil, who did the hard work. The project started as a lanai rail fix, however Phil noticed extensive wood rot that extended to the base of the balcony lanai. Without excuses he demo'd all wood rot off the lanai then used new lumber and composite (Trex) to ensure the new lanai was structurally sound. Paint was professionally applied to perfection. ***NOTE***: Some benefits with Handy Andy Hawaii that I want to share: They take credit cards and not every handyman business does! This is great for paying a portion up front for materials and having a way to recoup if something goes wrong (which you don't have to worry about with these guys). Be careful of handyman services that are cash only on this island - a lot of people get ripped off!! Handy Andy Hawaii are licensed and have insurance! This is important if they get hurt on the job on your property - no worries to you as they are professionals with coverage. You get what you pay for. They may be a little higher cost, but looking at my lanai versus my neighbors...well, the results speak for itself. They show up ON TIME, ON SCHEDULE, NO EXCUSES. 100% PROFESSIONALISM FROM EVERY SINGLE PERSON ON THIS TEAM. This was every day. Communication was awesome! From the initial call back from the company to the last day for follow-up, the lines of communication were open. The final receipt had a list of all products purchased, labor - everything was open and listed out. Veteran owned and operated. Great team that you can trust in your home, no worries. I won't waste my time calling any other company... because these guys are that amazing! Thank you for making this project an absolute success!!!

I decided to try Handy Andy. After many other local unreliable workers over the years, I am very impressed by the courteous, on time when promised, and clean all the workers are. They all work as a team, all in contact with other teams and if needed, come to assist in times when the job hasn't gone as originally planned. As in all remodel or construction jobs, nothing ever goes easily as planned... These guys are great! I am very happy with their work and cleanup at the end of the day as well while project is still in progress. I think their pricing is fair, and worth it! I am having them do many more projects because of their performance. I live in Hawaii Kai in Mariner's Cove. They are not just small job guys! Tony, Brice, Sean P., Sean T., Ikaika, Alfred were great! Wallpaper removal, dry wall, skim coating, ceiling crack repair, painting. CMU cement wall stucco covering and painting. Outside house painting, and garage expansion from 2 car carport to enclosed 4 car garage! Well done so far!

I always dread calling in people to fix stuff on the house, they complain about how jacked things are, or are weird about pricing and estimates. Handy Andy was great, I used their online chat to send photos and they got back to me with a reasonable price. The guy who came (""Andy,"" is that coincidence?) was friendly and professional. I liked that he took his time to look at the situation, a plumbing re-routing, then explained his plan to me and how loud it would get b/c the dog might freak out. He wrapped it all up, tested his work, made adjustments, and he was done! Payment was easy w/ mobile. I'll def call them next time I need the help.

Handy Andy was recommended to me by a friend, she stated that its a company ran by veterans and as a disabled veteran myself I thought what better way to get help with stuff around the house that I physically cannot do due to my back and give business to local vets - Initial visit went great- On time, had lots of great ideas to fix everything around the house-couldn't have been better- - Received the estimate and realized there were a few items missing that I needed done- Called, left messages and even texted my estimator for almost 2 weeks! I needed to speak to my estimator to get an estimate with the projects he did not add on- No return call back or anything- The lady on the phone kept saying I will get ahold of him and have him call you back- -Finally called and asked to speak to a supervisor- The supervisor did call me back within 24 hrs- was given an apology and told that my husband had received a call back- I was thoroughly confused as I was the one who made initial contact, I was the one who needed the work done, my husband who doesn't have access to his cell during the day wouldn't have been able to answer the phone! Why would u call him and how do you have his number?. I told him I wanted a revised estimate and would get back with them if I wanted the work continued- -Received a phone call about 2 weeks later asking if I was ready to put something down on scheduling, I figured that maybe they were having an off week and the supervisor seemed so sincere I would give them another chance, I scheduled for some work to be done in about 3 weeks- - Here I am waiting for no one to come over- I called Handy Andy and apparently I am not on the schedule- Big surprise- I was even called 10 days ago to confirm my appt, and I asked the lady on the phone if the guys coming over would be able to do/change a project- She said it shouldn't be a problem and that I would need to talk to them when they got here. But it doesn't matter as mysteriously my appt is gone- Either they have an extremely inefficient scheduling procedure or someone at Handy Andy is purposely messing with my family- -The whole process shouldn't be this difficult, When someone calls to speak to their estimator they should get a call back, when appts get made someone should show up esp when their company confirms it not 10 days earlier- If you go through Handy Andy all I have to say is God speed on your Journeys

I had one ceiling fan installed, two toilet on off valves with the supply lines replaced, two smoke detectors switched out, one dimmer installed, and another dimmer repaired. The handyman, Jordan, did a quality job on all of my Fix-It list and communicated well as each job was completed. This would be a 5-star review for the work and the friendliness of the handy person-total top notch, but due to the delayed repair appointment time it dropped one star. I would definitely use them again but would ask that they improve their service by confirming appointments once they are made through an email or text and also to confirm a day or two in advance before the actual appointment date.

We hired Handy Andy to repair our front porch, redo our mailbox post and install a new security door. They were quick to answer our online inquiry that we also submitted pictures of what needed to be worked on. They sent us a quote and after we accepted it, they contacted us to set up a date for the job to be done. It was a more than reasonable price. The initial they came out, he got rained out but we rescheduled. Jordan and Brandon took about a day and a half to get all if it done but he did a fantastic job. It was so worth trying out Handy Andy. I have already begun to recommend them to family and friends. Looking forward to doing more business with them.
