I've used this company multiple times in the past with NO problem. Great quality work, money supports Vets, and friendly staff. Unfortunately, I am forced to find help elsewhere (Keep in mind, this was 5 STARS before).

Their process from service request to service completion is inefficient and flawed, which left me with a problem for nearly 3.5 months. Also, I decided to leave this review because I literally reached out to them FOUR times because of various errors on the invoice and lack of call back regarding upcoming services. (I am known to be patient among my peers - FOUR TIMES though - the limit has been tested.)

As for my experience, I contacted them via Yelp and email first. After providing some info, a sales rep would call the next day and ask the same questions that I gave already! How redundant...it seems they have different departments that are not connected well... So after the sales rep, they sent an invoice with my name and address incorrectly spelled...Had to yelp message, email x 2, and call them TWICE before the corrections were made...Since 9/2018, I've managed to get two out of the three services I needed...

While someone did reach out later (after my 4th time calling and mentioning this problem, it was far too late. I reached out to someone else and had a problem addressed within 5 days; price was more reasonable as well.

What happened to you guys? Last time was great service, and job well done... this time I can't even get service? It's been 5 days, and I've reached out twice. Called someone else, they were here and gone within the same day!!!! Don't waste your precious time, move on to the next name on the list.

Called these guys last week and they said that they can repair or replace my blinds AND they said that they can replace my window hardware. They called me back 4 days later referring me to another company that can help me. I called the other company and they can't help in anyway. No So Handy After All.

Very, very impressed with Handy Andy Hawaii. Had my wood-rotten lanai almost completely rebuilt, and the results are astonishing! Shout out to Nick, who handled the appraisal and estimate, and to Phil, who did the hard work. The project started as a lanai rail fix, however Phil noticed extensive wood rot that extended to the base of the balcony lanai. Without excuses he demo'd all wood rot off the lanai then used new lumber and composite (Trex) to ensure the new lanai was structurally sound. Paint was professionally applied to perfection.

***NOTE***: Some benefits with Handy Andy Hawaii that I want to share:

They take credit cards and not every handyman business does! This is great for paying a portion up front for materials and having a way to recoup if something goes wrong (which you don't have to worry about with these guys). Be careful of handyman services that are cash only on this island - a lot of people get ripped off!! Handy Andy Hawaii are licensed and have insurance! This is important if they get hurt on the job on your property - no worries to you as they are professionals with coverage. You get what you pay for. They may be a little higher cost, but looking at my lanai versus my neighbors...well, the results speak for itself. They show up ON TIME, ON SCHEDULE, NO EXCUSES. 100% PROFESSIONALISM FROM EVERY SINGLE PERSON ON THIS TEAM. This was every day. Communication was awesome! From the initial call back from the company to the last day for follow-up, the lines of communication were open. The final receipt had a list of all products purchased, labor - everything was open and listed out.

Veteran owned and operated. Great team that you can trust in your home, no worries. I won't waste my time calling any other company... because these guys are that amazing! Thank you for making this project an absolute success!!!

Unfortunately I didn't have them do any work for me as the bid too high on the project. In the end I had another contractor do the same work for $600 less. They were courteous and followed up several times with me. They definitely sound professional. If you can afford them I'm guessing they'd do a great job.

Very happy...too bad I can't give Ten (10) stars. Recommended. Great experience from start to finish. Phone, text, email communication was clear, concise, courteous. Nate, Mateo, Andy, Jordan, and Sean were knowledgeable, hardworking and professional. I had the following done:
Small and Large jalousie window repair, Garage siding, Interior door replacement, Bathroom drywall repair, Patched Doors, Built Screens, and hauled away a Washer / Dryer and a cabinet. They can do it all! Thank you very much.

I called Handy Andy to install three air conditioners in our house. The guy I chatted with immediately offered a discount because of the number of air conditioners, and a good price to get them all done on one day. We agreed on a price and a time. The two guys that showed up started immediately, and after a while were done rechecking, painting the board locks, and ready to go. The leader, by the way these are all former military service men, so lots of "Yes, sir" and "No, sir" but all with a lot of respect, informed me that a number of my jalousie windows were not working and if I was interested in them fixing them. I sure was because most had rusty twists that did not work and were difficult to open by hand. He went back and checked, came back and told me there were seven that needed fixing, gave a price, and I thought he would have to come back. But he said he had another team that could pick up the parts and be at my place that afternoon. I said of course, and the second team showed up about an hour later with all the parts and immediately went at it fixing all the broken jealousies. And these guys in the second team fixed every one of my windows to work too.
I am going to use Handy Andy on my carpeting work I need done because they are fair priced, on time, extremely respectful, and more than willing to return if not satisfied. So far, not a single problem with the work, so they are coming back to do more work at the house. I like their company goals, and their dedication to help former service people get back into our community. Handy Andy, you have one very satisfied customer in me.

I have used Handy Andy to replace a screen in a lanai door in town. And again, I have requested them to help me with some plumbing in my home in Pearl City. Their versatility is a plus when you need several different kinds of work to be done. This company is not only efficient, but its service representatives are always extremely professional. Case in point, Ikaika came to repair two problem toilets in my house. He did his work quickly and was very pleasant to deal with. When the jobs were done, there was a discrepancy in the invoicing. He cleared that up with one phone call. Even over the phone, their customer service is always personable and thorough. Jenny (I think that is her name) is a great service agent to connect with.
