When you have an older home and the plumbing starts going bad it is refreshing to have someone like Hamzeh plumbing come to the rescue. He arrived within an hour of my call and repaired and fixed the bathroom sink in less than an hour. His personable attitude and reasonable price for the repairs puts him on my preferred service list. He took the time to show me where and how the problem got started and gave me instruction on what to do if it happened again. I will definitely recommend his service to friends and use him for our next repair.

Hamzeh is fantastic! My kitchen sink was backed up....way backed up. I called him in the morning and within the hour he was at my house. I had to do a conference call for work so I quickly told him the problem, showed him the various drains, clean outs, etc and then proceeded to get stuck on the phone almost an hour. Through various hand signals and notes scribbled on big pieces of paper, I was kept updated on his progress during my call. The best one was when he described my drain problem as being filled with sludge like thick, black jello! He took care of everything with the sink, was clean with his work and was extremely nice. I highly recommended him and will be calling him next time I have plumbing problems.

Hamzeh is fantastic. I moved into my house on Tuesday. I needed a gas line run for my new dryer, which was being delivered on Thursday. On Wednesday I walked down the street and saw Hamzeh's van at a house around the corner. I asked if he could stop by when he was finished to give me a quote. He was just cleaning up and walked back to my house with me to give me the quote right then. Since I had walked there, he knew it was close. He was available the next day (Thursday!) and was able to run the gas line and install my new dryer. Since I also had an issue with the water shutoff to the house (I couldn't shut it off), he was also able to replace that with a new shutoff that is much easier for me to use.
I asked him about some other jobs and he was very honest about what I needed, and even better, what I did not need. I already have him lined up for my next job! So glad to have found Hamzeh! I'll never have to worry about my plumbing again!

I've not been able to use my dishwasher for a good month or so due to an air gap/hose issue. This was quickly diagnosed, on the phone, mind you and rectified in a span of 30 minutes by Hamzeh upon his arrival. The man is honest and provides a fair and reasonable price for the job. His work definitely warrants a 5 star rating and others obviously agree with me! Going forward, I will lean on him for my plumbing needs. Thanks once again Hamzeh!

Just an update. I like Hamzeh but the last visit left a sour taste in my mouth. He installed the faucet for me and as I asked him for the fee, he threw numbers out and was really astonished to the figures he provided. I ended up paying $300 to my dismay. I called another plumber and he noted $100 for the install so lesson learned.

Like most people, we never think about plumbers until we are in a crisis!

On Sunday, July 6 our waterline from the floor to the fridge's ice maker started leaking. Turns out the old tube had been broken by the previous owners and patched together with tape! As water was quickly leaking on to the kitchen floor we called Hamzeh!

Hamzeh was at our house in San Mateo in less than 15 minutes. He is very polite and courteous with a great sense of humor. We found his prices fair and reasonable considering it was Sunday too!

I've recently had to use Hamzeh twice. First, we had bathroom sink issues two weeks ago. He came in and replaced the piping and the sink is working fine and he guaranteed his work for a year. Today, we had our master bathroom shower back up and he came again and fixed it. I wanted to also point out that Hamzeh is very professional, very clean and came on the same day both times. I also found out that my mom in Foster City, CA used him previously and we both agreed that he had done quality work for the both of us. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a good plumber in the San Mateo area.

Hamzeh was terrific to answer my call in the late afternoon on a Saturday a few weeks ago. Our garbage disposal had broken a month prior and we really needed to just get it replaced ASAP. Hamzeh was already at another job site at 4pm and said he would be over in a few hours. I greatly appreciated his friendly and no problem attitude. He came over, explained everything he needed to do and went to work. An hour later, he had the pipes changed and the new disposal installed. Unfortunately, the disposal was defective and he said he would return first thing in the morning on Sunday with a replacement. Hamzeh was true to his word and returned the following morning and installed another new disposal which worked perfectly. He charged exactly what he estimated. I had also asked him about a better working shower head which he was able to do quickly with an amazing 7 setting shower head. Of course, that has brought me tremendous happiness! Thanks to Hamzeh, life is good again!
