I came home and found my washing machine leaking out the garage and down the street AND my dishwasher air gap leaking over my counter. I was convinced I had a major block in my drain. I called Guardian and Joshua came out within 45 minutes. He could have told me just about anything and I would have agreed to it as I know nothing about plumbing. After looking at my leaking problems Joshua cleaned out my air gap on the dishwasher. He showed me how to do it so if it ever happens again I'll know what to do. He looked at the washing machine and said it wasn't a plumbing issue but a appliance repair issue. Joshua saw where the machine was leaking water from and tightened the part best he could - which temporarily stopped the leaking.
The price was beyond fair for what he did. Joshua was very polite, clean and most importantly honest. I highly recommend Guardian Plumbing.

Tony is really an exceptional plumber and person. I went crying to him again after more contractor nightmares. He fixed all the mistakes that the contractor made. He didn't use scare tactics. He installed everything to my high standards, left no trace, and left me with a very reasonable bill. Undoubtedly he gets my highest rating!!!!

We've been customers of Tony's for a long time, since before he had his own business. His work has always been great and his prices have been fair. We were reluctant when he wanted to send his associates, Joshua and Bradley. But rather than wait for Tony to be available, we went ahead. We were pleasantly surprised. They were prompt, friendly, professional, cleaned up and were able to repair the four problems we were having. We would not hesitate to have Tony or his associates back when the need arises.

WE ARE SOOOOO GRATEFUL FOR GUARDIAN PLUMBING! Our old, rusted, galvanized pipe broke under the sink and Tom was soooo curteous, honest and quick to find the source of the leak (which was leaking from our sink and also our washing machine). Price was unbelievably low and he came out during a HOLIDAY! Such a fantastic guy and a life saver. THANK YOU THANK YOU TOM!!!

Need a Life Saver?!?

Do you have a leak, burst pipe or any plumbing need?
Call Guardian Plumbing and ask for Joshua!
We woke up to a burst hot water pipe and rolled the dice on a plumber. Luckily for us we hit the jackpot with Guardian Plumbing and they sent over Joshua.
Don't take the risk, call Guardian Plumbing!
Joshua did an awesome job. He knew how much I was willing to pay to fix the pipe but he still charged us a very fair price. His work was fantastic and he answered all my questions. Next time my elderly mom needs a plumber I'm calling Guardian Plumbing! They earned this rating!

Haven't called and not had the phone answered yet. Great first sign with any company. Tenants had water gushing from the washer clean out. Tony went out quickly and fixed the problem at a very reasonable cost. Tenant is happy, client is happy, I'm happy. Win/win/win!!!

Really courteous and professional service. They arrived on time and cleared the problem. They worked with respect to your things and didn't make a mess which was really cool. They cleaned up after they were done and even hooked up my dryer without charging me. Reasonably priced but most of all as said on the previous reviews honest and they seem trustworthy

Prompt, clean, professional and reasonably priced. Replaced an old gas water heater from 1996 that was leaking into the pan below.
Prompt:
Came during the 1 hour window of time he had given me. I called him on a Wednesday afternoon and he was able to do the job on Saturday morning.
Clean:
Put tarps down on our carpet. Vacuumed the water heater closet, which had blown insulation all over the place from an insulation job done the day prior.
Professional:
Showed me how to turn off incoming gas and water to the unit, as well as how to shut off the main gas and water lines coming into the house. (I've been meaning to find out how to turn off the gas for emergencies, but you know how that goes.) Had good manners.
Reasonably Priced:
Tony was recommended by my handyman Joe from SoCal Mr Fix It, but I got a couple other quotes from companies rated 4.5 and 5 on Yelp. One was $1100 and another $1676, while Tony did it for $950 (quote was given over the phone). Tony explained to me that in the last few years California has changed regulations on the design of water heaters so that (1) they have no external pilot light and (2) the emissions are reduced. That's why water heaters have gone from being fairly inexpensive to being very expensive.
Tony installed a Bradford White Eco-Defender Safety System Ultra Low Nox Series Energy Saver unit (40 gallon, 40k BTU, natural gas) model #U4-40T6FRN), which has a 6 year warranty. This model has a retail price of $790 according to one web site I found.
A comparable GE unit on Home Depot's web site is $468 (40 gallon, 38k BTU, natural gas, high efficiency, ultra low NOx, 6 year warranty, model #GG40T06TXK00).
I'm happy to have a water heater that is safe, with no leaks and properly strapped. Before the new unit, I had also noticed the water did not stay hot for very long when I showered. It now stays hot for as long as I've needed it and I don't have to turn the dial as far to get hot as I did before.
Job took about 2 hours to do, including showing me how to shut off stuff.

I just recently bought my first house and have been hiring contractors left and right. All of them found from Yelp, only one contractor (the landscaper) has failed me. Not Tony though, he is great.
I don't know where he stands on pricing as I didn't call for other estimates. It was a Saturday, I had nothing to do, so I thought I would look for someone to install the reverse osmosis (RO) water filter that I got my mom for xmas. Surprisingly, Tony answered on Saturday.. and after the job was done.. I called because I thought my water heater was down and he answered on a Sunday too. That's good stuff.
Here are the highlights:
* Originally quoted $175 to install the RO filter only.
* Decided that since he was going to do some pipe work that I might as well get the whole kitchen sink redone. He looked and sounded like he knew what he was doing and a down right guy. So I went ahead with the whole thing. I think I took up a good chunk of his Saturday. Sorry!
* Tony helped me look up some sinks on Home Depot's (HD) website and taught me about the different brands and gauges. The Elkay sink he recommended was not in stock at my local HD, but he said KOHLER was good too. He also helped me with picking a faucet set that came with a soap dispenser (LOVE that thing, best part about the sink, haha). So I hurried myself to HD to buy the items.
* I bought the sink, the RO filter, and the faucet. Tony's labor/expertise included miscellaneous piping and fixtures for $541. Well worth it.
* The piping job he did was clean, looks good, looks professional, and the sealing is invisible. He spent a few good hours at it and didn't rush anything.
* AND.. apparently, my RO filter was defective and started leaking the next day. Tony came over within a few minutes of calling him and found the defected area. He said I should go return it and get another one. He showed me how to switch it out myself and if I couldn't do it he would come back to do it for me at no charge. What a nice guy! But it was a simple task and I managed to complete it myself.
* He even cleaned up his work place. The cabinet under my sink looked cleaner than how I gave it to him.
* My new sink looks awesome.. Tony cleared up the minor leak we had and the water isn't cloudy anymore! Those were extra perks for me that Tony didn't realize he did until the end.
* SOOO.. this guy is great.. apparently Jessica C. (below) thinks that he's a rip off. Even if he is, it's a good rip off. Job well done! I love my sink, works great, and love the bottle water taste!!! My next project will be the entry door and a few other little things here and there and then I will be working on the bathroom which I will definitely be hiring Tony to do the plumbing. Gotta start saving for the bathroom.
Thanks Tony!
P.S. He takes credit cards but there is a % fee. He is also dog friendly. :)

Tony came to our house within a couple hours of our call. We had previously used Mike Diamond / George Brazil for plumbing, but now realized what a waste of money that's been. Instead of replacing an entire fixture, Tony diagnosed a minor broken part and fixed it quickly.
He probably charged us 1/10th of what Mike Diamond / George Brazil would have, and the repair was done very quickly.
I HIGHLY recommend using Guardian Plumbing !!!
