In 1920, Paul J. Grunau founded Grunau Company to provide plumbing and repair services. In 1923, the business expanded to include HVAC and piping, and in 1929, Paul E. Grunau became part of the team, adding fire protection services. After four generations of Grunau leadership, the company joined the APi Group family of specialty contractors in 2006.
