My daddy was a licensed pipe fitter, electrician and HVAC man who chose to work as a pipe fitter for a national company. As a girl, helping him fix things around the house I learned a lot. One of those things was how to install a toilet. My mom obviously never knew this so years after dad's death she had this company install one. Imagine my shock when I was visiting & needed to use the WC at her house & the toilet almost fell over (I weigh a hefty 127)!!! They never bolted the toilet down, plus it was leaking, albeit slightly, around the wax ring. I had to reinstall the toilet. Unacceptable. No I didn't call them, it was more trouble than it was worth, imo. Just make sure they send a licensed technician beforehand.

I had a section of my sewer line replaced today and the guys did a fantastic job! The job took a fair amount of time and they were able to address the problem quickly and efficiently! Thanks Greenwell!

We had our 50 gallon water heater replaced yesterday after 23 years of use. Very pleased with the quality of service and quick response to our needs. A gentleman named Stephen installed it in a timely and professional manner. We would recommend Greenwell Plumbing to anyone.

We have been using Greenwell Plumbing for at least 15 years and we have always been extremely happy with the service they provide. We recently had to have a new sump pump installed and Eric did an awesome job. He was prompt, professional, and efficient. We will continue to use Greenwell!

Shockingly overpriced! The spray faucet hose on the kitchen sink accidentally became disconnected and fell under the sink. My wife called Greenwell and they looked under the sink with a flashlight and said the hose is stuck in the faucet and can't be fixed (diagnosed without using any tools) definitely had to be replaced. Fortunately we had an extra pull down spray kitchen faucet that i was going to install in the basement. Greenwell looks in a book and says that it will cost $300 to install a customer owned faucet and could do it in 1/2 an hr. I refused the ridiculous price and did it myself but not before they charged a $49 fee for looking under the sink with a flashlight.

I had them open a pipe that another plumber charged 200 dollars, and it still did not work. They used a machine to open it. They were professional. They opened the drain, and it is still draining.

This company is a joke. They replaced a sewer line for me. The job was $1000 over budget, they left a hole in my yard, and the sidewalk they poured looks like crap. The foreman was a tool. I do not recommend this business.

Full master bath remodel: As work progressed some things were done with laying the tile and grouting that we didn't agree with (and after doing research, we found that other professionals agreed with us). Greenwell made the revisions we requested. However, on the final walk thru, owner criticized our decisions with the tile, as well as the caulking color. And he defended the workmanship, even when we showed him what pros said. We wanted to like this company, all the people involved had great personalities, but just cannot recommend.

Would not recommend. Plumbers installed tub incorrectly and had to come out the second day to fix installment. They also tore out two extra rows of tile and then cut an electrical line. Electrician had to fix line and cut a hole in our bedroom wall. They did pay for an electrician and the hole repair but wanted to charge us $470 to fix two rows of tile that they tore off. They left the job unfinished and we had to pay someone else to finish their mistakes. Very unprofessional, unorganized, unresponsive.

Incompetent and rude. We are in the process of buying our first home, and had it professionally inspected for problems. The inspector found that the water heater had a rusted bolt on it, that was wet to the touch with water around it. Greenwell was called out to repair the leaky water heater, who responded there was no need for repair. We then replied, providing images and photographic evidence of the leak, which is in obvious need of repair. They then sent 2 additional people out together, who also seemed to find nothing wrong with the water heater, despite the rusted bolt (the only bolt on top of the water heater in plain site), and said nothing needed to be fixed. Upon questioning if the 2 technicians were made aware of the exact situation they needed to fix, I received a very curt email from the manager, who ended with ""Please feel free to contact me with any further questions."" I asked her if water outside of the water heater to where there is rust on the bolt and water around it doesn't qualify as something that needs to be fixed, or a ""leak"" then what does.
