Tim came to our house earlier than expected which was amazing! He completed the quotes we requested very quickly and then got some parts and quickly went to work. He was very polite and informative when updating us on progress. He installed a gas line for our stove, an extra water line for our fridge and fixed a toilet that has been giving us trouble for a while! He even completely installed our stove for us! I'll be using Greenwell and specifically requesting Tim if we need any more work.

We have been customers for years and were very please with Greenwell for years but we have become increasingly disappointed. Poor communication within the company and with plumbers. Poor communication with customers. Every time we call it seems it is a two-week or more process to get things fixed properly and to haul away items, i.e. water heater and water softener. There is always a lame excuse as to why they can't take the items that day which ends up with multiple phone calls to get them back to take them away. In addition, when they installed the new water heater he cut off the usage of the water-powered backup sump pump. Guess what, it rained for days and days. Every time you call there are no notations on file for what transpired. They never show up when they are supposed to even when they notify you when they are on the way. Very poor service and poor customer service in following up.

Called at 8am to have a drain inside our home cleared - one that they had serviced a month ago. Explained that we couldn't flush toilets and that the drain was backing up sewers and needed service ASAP. We were told they would put us on the short list. Called at 2:30pm because we hadn't heard anything and were told we were next. At this point - our basement was flooded. Called again at 5 - and told the technician wasn't done at the current job and now had another job before getting to us - and may not even get to us at all. Honesty would have been great if they didn't actually have time.
Never came out. Thousands of dollars of water damage. Do not recommend.

Adam at Greenwell Plumbing came to my house during a snow storm to fix what another quack plumber did not. Adam was on time, very friendly, and the cost was on par. I was very happy with his service, and will keep Greenwell Plumbing's information on hand in the event this old house needs them again. Thank you, Adam, and thank you Greenwell Plumbing!

I tried to put the same review on Google back in August when all of this happened but I thinking Greenwell only allows reviews that speak well of them... Anyway.,.

I'm with a home warranty company that covers my plumbing problems so I really don' t have much say in which company they use. Also pricing is not something I'm worried about because I'm covered up to $20,000 on my water/sewer problems.

The plumber from the first company that was sent out told me that my wall was going to have to be torn into because the pipe behind it was leaking. OK, I understand. He said before he tore into it, he needed a camera to send down the pipe to find out where the leak was so he wouldn't have to guess and tear half my wall apart before finding it. Unfortunately these cameras are expensive and the only one his company had was booked out he was going to let the warranty company know that a plumber with a camera was needed. Ok, sounds logical...

***IN COMES GREENWELL***

The next day (Friday) the plumber comes out and I explained to him about the need for a camera. He takes a look at the leak and says ""Yep, we need a camera here"" and he said no one at his office told him to bring a camera. He said he would have the weekend guy come by with a camera and have a look. In the meantime...no phone call, no confirmation, nothing. Saturday, I have to call their office to find out when. I was told I was on the schedule for between 2pm and 6pm, only (after I had waited all day). So....6:30ish comes and the plumber shows up and said nobody told him that he needed to bring a camera, but he said ""I don't really need one, I can tell you where the problem is, but What we need to do is get an estimator out here because the warranty co has to approve b/c we have to cut into your wall and he only works between Monday and Friday 8 to 5"" and then he left.

No phone call from anyone at Greenwell and once again I reach out to *them* on Mon at 1:30pm to ask what gives? ""Oh, yes, you're on our schedule today between 2pm and 6pm"" I'll have the tech call you. So I make last minute arrangements to leave work early (keep in mind I took Thursday and Friday off already), rush home and wait for this technician. 5:30 comes and goes..NOTHING. Finally I call Greenwell (again) and they said the tech would be calling me soon.

I never got a phone call from him, I got a text message from someone named ""Stephen"" saying that he had my job and was just waiting on the warranty company for approval. He apolgized and was waiting for the plumber's report who ran the camera. NO ONE HAS BEEN OUT TO RUN A CAMERA!! So I immediately called the warranty company and asked them if they had heard from Greenwell. And they said the only thing they heard from them was a request to run the camera and we approved that. I issued a complaint and the warranty company called Greenwell with me on the line and verified that someone would be out to get this taken care of.

I didn't hear from anyone on Tuesday and late afternoon Weds (6/23) I get a call from yet another plumber who had no idea what the situation was with my problem. Of course, he didn't have a camera either, and he seemed somewhat annoyed with dispatching, and profusely apologized to me. He said he would ask someone to get in touch with me and get out here today. LOL Its now 7pm and not a word from anyone.

I have called my warranty co. and said I want this company fired from the job and don't want them back at my house. I asked them to add to my profile to not issue ANY future service calls to Greenwell for me. Everyone I spoke to at Greenwell was nice enough and they weren't rude in anyway. In fact, they were so nice that it sounded like I'm not the first one to have this problem After wasting 3 days of work plus an entire Saturday with these people and they haven't lifted a single tool yet? IM DONE. Waiting on a new plumber now

ISSUES:
COMPLETE BREAKDOWN OF COMMUNICATION WITHIN THE COMPANY
UNSATISFACORY FOLLOW UP
NO COMMUNICATION WITH THE CUSTOMER

I have had the unpleasant experience of having this company at my home. I absolutely would not have them ever come back. They man who came to our home was rude & didn't seem to care about the job but sure was overly friendly with our daughter who was about his age. IMO you should finish the job before looking for a date. The job never got completed correctly.

they did not even bother to show up after the appointment was made the day before. Called to see why and they told me the appointment had been rescheduled for the next week. i was not informed. Company is a joke.

I made an appointment for Saturday, and was giving a timeframe of 8-10 a.m. I received a confirmation text from the company the day before the appointment. They promised to call 30 minutes before arrival. At 8:58 a.m., I received a call asking if it was ok if they arrived a little after 10:00 a.m., to which I said that was fine. I heard nothing again until I called at 12:20, at which time I was told by CR Bill they weren't sure what happened, but they would get someone out, and if I hadn't heard back in 30 minutes, to please call again. I called again at a little after 1:00, and still nothing. At 3:10 p.m., after missing work and my daughter's softball tournament, I called again. They had no answer for why I didn't receive service except that they had overbooked themselves-- they then said the earliest they could do would be on Tuesday afternoon, during my work schedule. This company had been recommended to me by multiple local friends, but this was a great disappointment.

If I could give them a no star I would.... The whole issue is that when we do laundry the sewer line backs up..................First guy said it was in the main under the house and he could not get through the clog with his electric auger and we needed a clean out put in. The crew came out and spent an hour here as most of the time they spent eating lunch and going to get a 4 inch T junction. It was $1200 to dig down a foot and half and put in a T for a clean out. No one scheduled a follow up and we had to call again to get someone back out and he heard toilet overflowing (because doing the laundry was causing it to back up into the toilet and bathtub) and that put him on a one track mindset of that the whole reason he was here was the toilet needed replaced (we already knew that as it is as old as the house and we had to plunge it to get it to flush). Third guy came out after we replaced the toilet and we ran water down every sink and the bathtub and says ""the problem is not under your house and you have good flow it must be fixed""... We do a load of laundry the next day and it backs up AGAIN and we take the cap off the cleanup and sewer water pours out.... So not fixed and we have rotorooter coming out here in a bit and will never call greenwell again!!!

THANK YOU Jesse Mason! This was our first time using Greenwell Plumbing. We had our water heater go out and Greenwell responded VERY quickly! Jesse was the technician for our water heater removal and installation.

He was prompt, professional, friendly and extremely helpful! He was prepared, efficient and he cleaned up after the install!

We appreciated that he wore his mask, gloves and shoe protectors while he was in our home during COVID-19!

GREENWELL PLUMBING! We highly recommend.

Jesse, YOU ROCK!!
