Products for agriculture and industry in food processing. John H. Green, Sr. launched Green Rubber in 1990 with his son, John P. Green. Initially, they were a small business committed to aiding agricultural and industrial processors. They specialized in custom conveyor belts, which is the source of the ""rubber"" in Green Rubber. They contended with some of the biggest names in the industrial sector. The company expanded rapidly, growing to over thirty employees and a varied product line. Kennedy Bros was established by Curt and Mark Kennedy in 1990. Their initial team of four operated from a Salinas, CA store, providing tanks, pumps, and spray gear. They grew to five locations throughout California by 2003. They shared a significant number of customers. The merger of the two companies in 2003 resulted in the creation of Green Rubber - Kennedy Ag. In 2021, they expanded with a sixth location in Santa Maria, CA, and launched Urethane Specialists, a fabrication division in Salinas.
