Industrial and agricultural solutions for the food processing, industrial, and farming sectors. John H. Green, Sr. launched Green Rubber in 1990 with his son, John P. Green. Initially, they were a small business committed to aiding agricultural and industrial processors. Their expertise lay in custom conveyor belting, which is where the ""rubber"" in Green Rubber comes from. They faced competition from some of the largest industrial chains nationwide. It quickly scaled up to a workforce of over thirty and a broad range of products and services. Kennedy Bros was established by Curt and Mark Kennedy in 1990. Starting with a team of four in Salinas, CA, they offered tanks, pumps, and spray equipment. By 2003, they expanded to five locations across California. They shared a significant number of customers. The merger of the two companies in 2003 resulted in the creation of Green Rubber - Kennedy Ag. They opened their sixth site in Santa Maria, CA, in 2021, and introduced a specialized fabrication division called Urethane Specialists in Salinas.
