Products for agriculture and industry in food processing. The year 1990 marked the founding of Green Rubber by John H. Green, Sr. and his son, John P. Green. Their journey began as a small company aimed at serving the needs of agricultural and industrial sectors. They specialized in custom conveyor belts, which is the source of the ""rubber"" in Green Rubber. They faced competition from some of the largest industrial chains nationwide. The company expanded rapidly, growing to over thirty employees and a varied product line. In 1990, Curt and Mark Kennedy founded Kennedy Bros. Their initial team of four operated from a Salinas, CA store, providing tanks, pumps, and spray gear. In 2003, their operations expanded to five sites across California. Both businesses catered to many of the same clientele. In 2003, they combined forces to establish Green Rubber - Kennedy Ag. In 2021, they expanded with a sixth location in Santa Maria, CA, and launched Urethane Specialists, a fabrication division in Salinas.
