Green Rubber Kennedy Ag
Company Overview
Industrial and agricultural solutions for the food processing, industrial, and farming sectors. The year 1990 marked the founding of Green Rubber by John H. Green, Sr. and his son, John P. Green. They started as a modest enterprise focused on supporting agricultural and industrial manufacturers. Their expertise lay in custom conveyor belting, which is where the ""rubber"" in Green Rubber comes from. They faced competition from some of the largest industrial chains nationwide. It quickly scaled up to a workforce of over thirty and a broad range of products and services. In 1990, Curt and Mark Kennedy founded Kennedy Bros. They began with a four-person team in their Salinas, CA location, selling tanks, pumps, and spray equipment. By 2003, they expanded to five locations across California. The two companies served a similar customer base. In 2003, the two companies merged to form Green Rubber - Kennedy Ag. In 2021, they expanded with a sixth location in Santa Maria, CA, and launched Urethane Specialists, a fabrication division in Salinas.
