High quality and affordable master plumbers are hard to find. I had Grable out earlier today for the 2nd time this year and it hit me how important it is to share my experiences to other prospective consumers in need of plumbing services. First, I researched the local landscape and considered Yelp, Google, and Angie's List reviews and concluded Grable (along with one potential other) were the best bet in town for quality/price. Back in March I called and Paul came out the next day to replace the malfunctioning main water valve of an Ybor property I purchased. Paul was clearly an expert plumber, very professional, and replaced the main valve along with washer/dryer, water heater, and other valves quickly and with a warranty guaranteed by Grable. The price was excellent and probably the best possible deal one could have done. Yesterday, I had picked up a new bath sink faucet (from Lowe's) and wanted some add'l work done. I called Grable and Mario came out this morning. It took him barely 2 hrs to install the sink faucet, rebuild the toilet handle/flapper, clear the bath drain, replace the bath spigot and showerhead. Mario's work and professionalism was apparent. There is a big difference when a master plumber gets to work versus a handyman or the proverbial """"friend who can do any plumbing job cheap"""" which makes me cringe btw. Anyway I'm being wordy as I think this detail is important. Solid 5 stars for Grable. I'm sticking with them and trust them and will recommend them to anyone, especially friends and family in the Tampa area.

They are eager to steal your money. I asked them to replace three broken valves under the sink. They said gave me a free estimate, and then came, and charge me for $359 just for three valves! We are the first time home buyer and never use plumbing service before and don't know the market price. After that another plumber said he will do that for just $170. The work is pretty easy if I have the tool to turn off the main valve I would do it myself. But for this company, I would never use them again.

I can't say enough about how pleased I am with Joe Jr and the new electric tankless water heater he installed for me. I'm a retired renovation/handyman guy who would have done this work myself but had a couple hinges installed in my spine and both knees replaced and can longer do this type of work. I needed to update my electrical panel to accommodate the new water heater. Everything was done above and beyond my expectations. However once winter came the noticed we couldn't fill our big soaker jacuzzi tub beyond luke warm. Joe Jr sent out the same person who originally installed the unit and discovered the problem. It required pulling new heavier electric cable from the panel to the unit. Joe Jr personally came out multiple times to investigate and completely explained the exact problem. Everything was resolved in a timely fashion. As a retired construction professional I would highly recommend Grable. I will be using them in the future for any plumbing needs.

Our tankless water heater went from intermittently working to non-functional after being professionally descaled. Garble plumbing spent a few days trying to figure out the problem but were unable to find the cause. Ultimately we had to replace the system anyway. They were kind enough to give us a generous discount on their labor and new heater when they were unable to find the cause of our malfunctioning heater. Though the situation was frustrating their compassionate customer service was greatly appreciated.

This company is completely incompetent. Worthless. They were at my house to replace underground pipe. They completely screwed the plumbing up. They left hoses for two lavatories which were too short. Despite calls to them and their assurances that they would replace them several weeks later they have refused to do so. Incompetent! I had to call an independent to repair grables screw ups (plural). The house water pressure is extremely low and the water has an extremely lousy flavor. This company is very unprofessional and a pack of liars.

Read on to see why Bill Grable from Grable Plumbing was able to help somebody all the way in California. It was 5:00am in California and I woke up to what sounded like shaking pipes on the verge of explosion. I immediately turned off the water valves. I was very concerned because I just had all of my pipes epoxied and that was completed the day before. I called the company in California that did the epoxy and they said that it would be a few hours before somebody could get out to my house. They also said that they had never heard of this issue before. This concerned me so I decided to call Bill and Grable Plumbing who have done work for my family in the past. I spoke with Bill and he gave me three possible reasons why this could be happening, so I could keep them in my back pocket and refer to them after the epoxy company came out and did their review. Bill also offered to be on the phone when the company comes out and explains the situation. Not only is Bill extremely knowledgable, he is also a very good person who explains things in a way that the non-plumber can understand. A rare find and I am very fortunate to have him on my side as I deal with this unfortunate situation. Definitely Recommended David Arthur

The shower handle had become too difficult to turn. It had become calcified over the last 8 years. In the same bathroom, was a flapper needing replacement as it would run water in the tank in the middle of the night. Mark came out and was our plumber who fixed everything and had such a friendly yet professional mannerism. He wasn't out to try and sell us anything we didn't need yet I feel in the future when we do need something again, we'll have a plumber we call with ease.
