Great guys! My water heater wasn't making any hot water and I gave them a call. They sent a repairman the next morning at 9am. I thought I needed a new water heater but it turned out that I only needed a new heating tube or something. Honest and reliable, I would definitely use them again.

I give GR Plumbing 5 stars for saving the day! I work at a salon in the neighborhood and one busy Friday night, we had a plumbing disaster with the sinks. We couldn't use either sink and had clients waiting and no time to waste. We called a few plumbers and everyone was ""done for the day"" or couldn't help us until the next day. It was almost a horrible start to another busy weekend.
We looked up GR Plumbing on Yelp and gave them a call. They said they could be here in 15 minutes and they were right on time! They came in, fixed our problem and it was a big giant mess, but they cleaned up on their way out and the day was saved and we got back to work.
Thanks GR for all of your help! We will definitely call again should we ever need you!

This company totally overcharged me. I called GR on a rec when my sewer line got clogged. They kept saying they needed to dig more and then they ended up digging up about half my driveway to clear tree roots from the pipes. I feel like they dug too many holes because they did not really know where the clog was.
I'm not sure how three days of labor with 2 to 3 max guys working ended up at $27,000. They kept saying that it was because they needed some special equipment (that I never saw). Most of the labor was manual (breaking concrete and digging the holes) and it was done by day laborers. I have a feeling I was ripped off.

I just bought a new washer/dryer set and needed to have a drain line installed for the washer along with a vent for the dryer. I scheduled an appointment with Art for the estimate. He called me the day of to let me know he was running a little late which I appreciated.
Art earned my business because his quote came in the lowest at $500 (One company called The Best Plumber I Ever Had quoted $2700!!! LOL!) and he seemed the least flakey out of everyone I talked to. If he didn't pick up his phone, he would promptly return voicemails.
On the day that the job was scheduled, Art and his brother showed up on time, but they unfortunately realized neither of them could fit into my crawlspace to get underneath my house. No problem! They called up one of their pint-sized homies to come help and he was there within minutes! They finished the job in 3 hours. I wasn't even late to work! They put in a cleanout for the drain which I didn't ask for, but was not charged extra for. They also noticed that the kitchen sink pipe was leaking and fixed that as well for no additional charge.
I got a very good vibe from these guys. They were all very polite, friendly and straightforward. They thoroughly explained what they were going to do and answered the many questions I had with confidence. They stood by their initial quote and never mislead or confused me in any way.
I've run 10 or so loads of laundry and everything works perfectly so far. I would definitely call on these guys again.

I decided to clean out my Christmas tree stand in the sink and before I thought twice about it over a handful of pine needles went down in the garbage disposal, yes not the smartest thing I have ever done. I call GR Plumbing & Sewer and told them what happened. They offered to come that evening, but I told them it wasn't urgent and they booked me for 9am the next day (I called at 3:30pm). Art and his boy showed up the next morning and fixed my problem in about 10 minutes. They were very nice, very helpful and explanatory and we all had a good laugh at my antics.
They also noticed that the bracket holding the garbage disposal was leaking. They showed me why it was leaking (it was pretty bad), gave me a reasonable price on it, allowed me to call my landlord to get the repair approved and even offered to let her own plumber come out if she would like. She said she would repay us for the cost, so Art went and got the part and everything was completed within the hour. I was very happy with everything and highly recommend them to anyone looking for fast, affordable and reliable service.

**I STILL RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS. AFTER WRITING THIS HONEST AND ACCURATE REVIEW I BEGAN RECEIVING HARASSING PHONE CALLS FROM ART. I AM CURRENTLY FILING CHARGES. I AM AN EXPERIENCED LANDLORD AND HAVE NEVER MET ANYONE LIKE ART IN THE TRADES BEFORE. STAY AWAY.
update. this business still stinks. stay away.
They were very late, w/no courtesy call. Then they gave a much to high of a bid and when they realized that I know it was of track (because I have experience in these matters), they (Art) immediately became very defensive and rude. I was polite and merely pointed out that the work was not as extensive as he suggested (see below). I have worked w/many contractors and tradesmen as I own 12 units, but never have I met one as unprofessional as Art at GR plumbing. I was polite the entire time and Art was very rude and obnoxious and even started taunting me. I couldn't believe it. I asked to speak to Gonzala the boss on several occasions w/o success. Stay away unless you want to wast your money or support a bad business.
Follow Up! I had plumber from another company come out and he did the job in LESS than fifteen minutes (not the three hours that Art quoted me). I truly believe that Art was trying to take advantage of me and when he realized I knew that he became defensive and rude. My advice steer clear of GR plumbing, esp Art.

1. They showed up promptly.
2. They did a good job.
3. They over-charged me.

I called yesterday to request a quote and set up an appointment for my broken toilet (I don't know what goes on back there but something was loose or needed to be replaced. Nothing serious though like overflowing)
So I called and thankfully Gonzalo said he could be there the next morning!
He came 10 minutes early, assessed the problem within 2 seconds of looking at it and it was fixed and he was out the door in 10 minutes.
Not sure if all experiences are like this but I think whatever was wrong with my toilet was pretty common.
He was there no more than 10 minutes and billed me for $110 - I think the part might have been expensive as some have mentioned below? It seemed a bit steep to me but I suppose I paid him for his expertise to fix it quickly so I'm fine with the steep price as long as he is in and out - which he was.
Would definitely recommend/call again!

Was able to get an appointment for the same day... however, no plumber ever showed up nor did anyone call to cancel. Only when I called them back was I told they wouldn't be able to make the appointment. I opted not to reschedule.

Our kitchen sink backed up and we chose GR Plumbing b/c they quoted the best price and were available to come out within the hour.
They quoted between $85-$150, the job ended up being $150 with a $10 discount = $140 (to clear a backed up kitchen sink/laundry sink combo pipe)
They couldn't clear the pipe out completely b/c there was remnants from a dead bird in our pipe. poor bird, but.. *yuck
I understand that it's not everyday a plumber finds a dead bird stuck in the water pipes of a home so I didn't subtract a star for the job being on the expensive end.. they attempted to clear the pipe multiple times but that bird didn't want to come out fully..
I asked the technician to wear booties if he came into the house, he said ok.. but instead of going to get them, he proceeded to tippy-toe towards the sink and continue his job.. WTF?! (minus one star.. especially considering I just swiffered and vacuumed yesterday). My shoes aren't as dirty as plumber's shoes (for the most part) and I don't wear my shoes in the house.. would've been nice if he respected that tradition of ours (and most other Asians).
In the end.. sink is clear and working on the same day it broke, so.. ""Yay! I'm a fan""
