Gordon's family plumbing has done several plumbing repair jobs for me over the years and I've always been very pleased. The most recent job they did for me was installing a new shower valve because the old one was leaking badly. The plumber they sent out was very friendly and worked very carefully not to damage the wall tile when he installed the new valve. There was one small issue. The day after the new valve was installed I noticed a very minor leak from the tub spout. I called Gordon family plumbing and talked to John. He immediately sent a plumber out to correct the problem at no additional charge. Very professional !
The shower and tub valves are now working perfectly and look like new. If I have any plumbing problems in the future, I will definitely be calling Gordon family Plumbing.

Robert Allen Romo Post 422 has used Gordon's Family Plumbing on several occasions. They have been reasonable on prices, and they have always fixed whatever Plumbing problem we had.

Run!!! This guy is a smooth talker and totally dishonest. He told me that he could repair my septic system, that he was an expert. I paid him $7500.00 and had to hire another company for $10,000 to make the system work properly. I also had him replace my wall heater for my tenants at the same property. He charged me $1700.00 and I later found out, he never replaced the heater, only repaired the old one.
After I paid him, he just walked away. He called me names and a drug addict. I sued him and won the judgement for $8700.00. He had said, ""The judge will laugh at you"". The judge was not laughing when I presented all of my documents, pictures and texts messages I received from this guy. John Gordon did not even show up in court. That speaks volumes about his dishonesty. He knew the judge would rip him a new one, if he had.
Look for someone else to do your work. This guy will only misuse you and try to make up stories about the situation being your fault. If you are having plumbing problems, you don't need this crook giving you more grief!

None of us may ever receive the money this guy has cost us but we can stop him from hurting others. This guy is operating without a license! Go online to file a complaint with: (The form is easy to fill out.)

He can be prosecuted, charged fines, prohibited from working as a contractor and go to jail. I think he should face all of these penalties for the pain and suffering he put all of us through!

I should have called them first. We had a water leak under the slab. We called our usual plumbing company for a leak detection. They overcharged by double for the detection. They gave us an estimate for the repair. OUCH!!! That's when I called two other companies for estimates. Gordons Family Plumbing was not only the lowest cost, but did the work the most reasonable way, with the least destruction to our home. They came when promised, finished w/in a couple of hours, and left their work area clean. I should have called them first. Next time I will!!

Dont do buisness with this place i bought a used water heater from john he said it would be from 2022 they gave me a old heater that u have to light the pilot with a lighter from the first day they installed its been turning off its going on 4 days and counting me trying to contact john and the company now i have to show up in person l cant believe this im suffering every morning to turn this crap.on !!!

DO NOT HIRE JOHN GORDONS FAMILY PLUMBING unless you want your house destroyed and Civil Judgements! John Gordon had the audacity to post my house on his page?? The best part is when he bragged it only took him 6 hours! He was hired and paid to do a $40,000 whole house repipe.. meaning Sewer which was not completed because he is a non licensed contractor that needed a permit from the city of Yucaipa to do. My water and main lines were left on the ground ..not insulated or tied up on the frame of my house. The water heater was not up to code and done illegal. All hose fittings and spickets that were in the house and outside are loose. You can wiggle them around.. The best part is when He said the job wasn't done.. But yet he dry walled, mudded and painted the walls. It took 3 months even though his contract says 16 days! He quit the job as per his text message below. And I will add that this company left my terminally ill Mother with cancer without water for multiple days and paper protector on the floor for 3 months while my Mother was tripping on it.

I dont drink and If I go to concerts on weekends why does that matter to you? ... Do you work at 9pm on weekends? Please stop stalking my facebook .. I will be adding deformation of character to my lawsuit . Your outlandish response is beyond untrue!!
I believe his immaturity speaks for itself! The last picture is one of his workers that still have not been paid asking me for money that John Gordon Owes Him.. If you have a bad review of this company .. please report to the CSLB California state license board. The more complaints they have equals to hefty fines and jail time. Its going to cost another $6000 to fix his shoddy workmanship by a licensed contractor. Thank you to everyone that has reached out and given me written letters on your story about him.
