Amazing Company. Thank you Matt for being so knowledgeable and you had sophisticated equipment and gave us good news. We don't need anything done. Used them first at my HOUSE for a straight forward sewer lateral replacement. Great fast job at a good price!

Then a bigger, more complex job: A HISTORIC COMMERCIAL BUILDING in downtown San Rafael.
Matt was the only guy who gave us the GREAT ADVICE that, while we have a 7' deep hole open in the sidewalk anyway for the lateral work to the city main, it would be very cost efficient to have them replace the part of the 100 year old sewer that is underground under the business' floor, or we would have to pay later again to have that same excavation done in the sidewalk.
Didn't even expect that that was even possible to do with their system.
And by being creative, smart, capable and caring they didn't have to open the tile floor IN the cafe but came with the pipe through the back of the cafe, 135' AWAY!!!....
Talking about going the extra mile!
Then they came across an unexpected problem in the crawl space, and here I could experience their determination : by simply not giving up, and working really hard in very hard circumstances, in this tight crawlspace, they finished that day!
Here is the thing: The cafe STAYED OPEN throughout both days from 7am till 10 pm and we had NO REVENUE LOSS whatsoever!

These guys replaced our sewer lateral a few years ago. They were reasonably priced, showed up on time, handled all the permits and were great communicators. I wish more contractors were like Matt and his team.

These guys know their business inside out and if you have a complicated situation they are the creative ones who are not going to back down and they'll find you the solution and then execute it beautifully. This because they have a team that loves their job and it shows. I had contacted Amesos plumbing who basically told me the job was too complicated for them and to go find somebody else. I had contacted Trenchless Titan who never gotten back to me. But John found the solution and made it happen skillfully. My front yard looks great most of it being done Trenchless. I couldn't be more satisfied. For sewer lateral issues go no further they are the masters by far.

After a truly unfortunate episode with Rescue Rooter of San Leandro, we called Matt of Gopher-It, who was recommended to us by another plumber who was too busy to take our job.
We had a 100 year old sewer later that had a 100 year old tree on top of it - extensive root damage
Matt did a thorough job with the camera, and explained all our options. He started by saying the tree might need to come out, but probably not.
He said we could just have the roots removed, and we'd be good for several years.
He was extremely knowledgeable about local ordinances, and began by recording a DVD of the damage, to help us with the $1500.00 rebate we didn't know about.
Gopher-It put in our new sewer lateral in less than two days. The tree didn't need to come out. They left our front yard looking nicer than it had before they'd excavated (we got free weeding! :) ).

I would recommend Gopher-It to anyone.

I was recommended to Matt at Gopher-It Trenchless by our realtor when we unexpectedly encountered a block in the sewer main right after moving in. We had gotten a recommendation from Roto-Rooter to snake and install a main clean-out, but wanted to determine if we needed to replace a portion or all of the sewer lateral itself. Matt asked a bunch of questions over the phone and then said he'd come by to take a look that day. He viewed the video of our sewage line and after careful examination told us it was in good shape and didn't need to be replaced. He also located our original clean out (which Roto-Rooter hadn't been able to find), and offered additional information we could use when snaking the line, which ended up saving us money. While we ended up not needing Matt's services (per his recommendation), I can't recommend him highly enough. When and if we do need our sewer line replaced, he'll be the only call we make. Not only is he knowledgeable and skilled in the field, but he's honest.

These guys are amazing. The job was not an easy one and they were quick professional and cleaned up each day. No one likes to have to replace an ancient sewer lateral but the Gopher It guys are the best choice and they made it painless.

Matt is a class act. He came out on short notice... (twice!!) when my husband and I had questions about our sewer pipe and drainage. He patiently explained our drainage issues to us, examined our crawl space, gave us referrals to who could get our work done that was outside of his scope, and didn't charge us for visits even though we insisted on paying him (then didn't cash the cheque we gave him). I would give them 6 stars. Rest assured this company will get your job done right the first time.

Gopher-It did two sewer lateral jobs for me. The first was done seamlessly and well. I would have given them 5 stars for that job had I reviewed it, however, the second job, was a different story.

For whatever reason, Matt decided that he would (improperly) place mechanics liens on two properties for twice the amount due a day BEFORE issuing an invoice for the work! He did so even though we had no intention to, and did not, withhold payment. At the time of this writing, his invoice shows a -0- balance but the two mechanics liens on two properties for the work remain.

Addition later today: one lien rescission has been recorded since writing the above and we now expect the other one to be recorded shortly. They've gone from one to three stars so far. Inching to four. Still perplexed as to why the liens in the first place.

My old house had the main sewer line problem(had concrete plugging 1/2 of the pipe done by other contractor, that is another story) .
I had 3 bids and Gopherittrenchless came in the lowest overall for completing the project. Other two bids are B.F, who was eager(pressuring) to sign the contract without the complete scope saying his so called manager had to come to quote additional work, and the last one was O** Plumbing, highly marked in Home Adviser, who kept promising to email the quote (more than 2X price of others) but never did.
Gopherittrenchless came prepared with equipment, i.e. video recording camera, etc. that identified and showed me the problem area, the length, etc., had no side walk disturbance (other bidders had to break to enlarge to work), pulled a new pipe trenchless fast, finished, inspected by the city and signed off. They were good.
