I only have great things to say about these guys. 24/7 and very responsive. I have been calling Goodman for years and they never disappoint. I live in center city Philly- not the easiest place for service providers. Most recently Goodman helped me- Super Bowl Sunday - Joe came out when I called with water in my basement . Yes - Super Bowl Sunday. Then I called again after a crazy rain the night before the Eagles Parade. Ryan came out to snake the drain again - ready- the morning of the Parade to make sure I could use my water until they could come back the next day to take a camera down to figure out how bad things were. Mike came the next day and using the camera determined that my clay pipes were broken and needed to be replace . Then a few weeks later Steve, Derek and John spent 2 days digging around all the gas lines and other stuff 8 feet under my street to replace my broken pipes. These guys were professional, friendly and very dependable. I do and always will recommend Goodman Plumbing.

We used Goodman plumbing to fix the steam pipes at the church. Roman and Pat were there over the first two days, and Jake joined Roman on Saturday. They were very professional, personable and worked late to fix our ancient steam heating system. The work-site was not pleasant, and they needed to move some debris out of the way, and never complained. Unfortunately, they found additional issues which needed remediation, and explained why we needed to address them. The heat was unable to be turned on until this was fixed, and they needed to come back for a good part of Saturday to fix these new issues. Along the way, we were shown what was going on and they were very fair on the pricing as new issues were found. They will be the folks we call in again for any plumbing concerns.

So, I have to say I have nothing but love for this company. I bought a house that the inspector missed A LOT to say the least on plumbing issues. I had a few companies come out and give me quotes but this one was for sure the best in terms of response and price. And luckily I had them come out because after I had them quote me on potential fixes... I had a disaster. My outside pipe broke and I didn't have a main shut off valve that worked 100%. Tell me about a headache to say the least about a water bill. but the company worked through this and fixed my problem. Then they came out after and found my main street shut off valve (after being persistent digging up my yard to find it) and now my house is ready to go! now after 2 other jobs, I am hopeful all is fixed. So thankful.

I called Goodman Plumbing because they had excellent reviews. I tokk a chance, it was a Sunday afternoon. I had to leave a message. A gentleman called me back fairly quickly. I explained my issue and he said he could be out the next day between 10 and 2. I thought I had an appointment scheduled for a 10 to 2 time range on Monday. About 11:00 I called to confirm the appointment. The person who answered the phone put me on hold for a long time when she came back, she said I was not on the schedule. I explained that I spoke with someone the day before and he put me on the schedule. She again put me on hold for a long time and eventually came back and said I wasn't on the schedule. Had I not called to confirm I would still be waiting for them to show up. These people might be the best plumbers on earth, but I will never know, because they lack communication between their feild tech and the office. Not recommended!

I have a center city Philadelphia business with 2 private bathrooms and 1 toilet was giving us trouble on-and-off for a week. We plunged and tried an auger ourselves but it finally stopped working altogether. We contacted Goodman late Thursday night around 8PM and they gave us a clear and reasonable quote upfront and offered a 10-2 appointment window the next day. The next day they gave us a half hour warning when they were on their way and showed up by 10:30AM. Two men arrived, they were really professional, explained everything and were super fast at completely clearing the toilet clog. They gave me the option to pay over the phone after the appointment as I wasn't at the business myself (my staff was there) and came in exactly as quoted. Great service!!! I will use them for any plumbing problems I ever have for my business!

Their prices are ridiculous. Firstly I think they are incredibly dishonest. They always send someone who's good at talking to you and giving detailed explanation of what's needed. Whether what they recommend is needed or not is a whole different ball game. After all the sweet talking, They hit you with a big service charge. They have ripped me off several times I would recommend going with a smaller Company. Goodman plumbing has developed a market of customers and now is ripping people off

Extremely happy with their service and I would definitely recommend them. I requested service through their website for my malfunctioning garbage disposal and broken toilet lever. Someone emailed me less than 90 seconds later and we were able to schedule an appointment quickly that fit in my schedule. They said someone would come between 10am-2pm and they would call beforehand. Chris called at 9:49am and was here just after 10am. Perfect! He knew what he was doing and was able to fix both issues in less than an hour. Chris was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He was very considerate and even offered to take off his shoes since it was rainy and gross out. It was a huge bonus for me that I didn't have to wait around until 2pm(or later) and was quickly able to move on with my day. I would absolutely contact them again if I have any other plumbing issues!

Like other reviewers have said, Goodman is really good! Great job installing two toilets and a vanity (that I supplied). The workers were very helpful, pleasant and efficient too. Goodman also supplied a tiler for a new bathroom floor that we've needed for a very long time. I picked out the ceramic tile I wanted at Tilerama on Oxford Ave. The (wet bed) flooring job was not easy because nothing in my old house is level or straight. But, the tiler did an excellent job and we love it. I thought Goodman's pricing was pretty good compared to some others for the work that was done.

Overall, hiring Goodman was an excellent decision for us.

Our main line backed up and was causing my toilet to overflowwhich left me no choice but to call a plumber. I work an office job and none of my family were in the trades growing up, therefore, I'm always terrified at the thought of having to hire someone for stuff like this. After stumbling on a recommendation for Goodman plumbing on our neighborhood web site, I took a chance and grabbed them a call on a Saturday, just after 12pm. The plumbers arrived at my front door by 1:30. I showed them the area and they went to work immediately. After they dislodged the blockage, black water came gushing out of the cleanout access. As I watched this occur, I realized two things. 1 - that I could never be as plumber. 2 - I was willing to liquidate my kid's college fund to make it all go away. Without missing a beat, the guys had the leak contained and they were cleaning up the spill as they made progress on the pipes. Within an hour, they had our pipes back in business and the area was even cleaned up. They were professional, polite and they respected my house. The cost for the line service was $195, and frankly, after seeing what they did, it was a bargain. As with most businesses who fix stuff, I honestly hope I'll never have to see them again, however, with an almost 100 year old home, I'm sure I'll be in need of their services at some point and I will not hesitate contacting them in the future.
