I would recommend Shane whole-heartedly! He's so easy to work with, and does an amazing job. I needed to have all of the cartridges in my showers and faucets replaced (love Gilroy hard water!), and thanks to him, I didn't have to pay for any of the parts. He recommended that I reach out to the manufacturer because they should still be covered by warranty and viola, free parts! He happily worked with my crazy schedule and now I have water pressure again.

Shane was honest, provided outstanding work, communication, price and attitude. We required 2 master bathroom widespread old faucet sets removed and new ones installed. Shane promptly returned initial phone call, returned all texts and stayed in communication. We had to reschedule initial visit because UPS missed delivery date. It was not a problem for Shane. It was super easy to reschedule. He was on time for our appointment. He gave an immediate fair quote. We shook hands and he went to work. He completed the job in a timely manner. I've had Shane come out twice now. He very professional, honest, and always ask diagnostic questions first . He'll have you send pictures and he will tell you if it's an easy fix that you can do. Keep in mind, he has to make a living and can easily just come out to fix these easy problems, but he is honest. He doesn't take advantage of that. I stumbled upon him by mere luck and I'm glad I did. I now have a reliable plumber. So far, he's done two jobs for me. He's installed a sink for me; stopped a leak that was the fault of a contractor trying to play plumber. I'm glad that I found a plumber that's honest, good at what he does, and local. Trust me; and go with this guy. You won't be disappointed! An awesome plumber!

In an area where it is hard to find good service without a lot of attitude and apathy, Shane at Good 1 Minor Plumbing truly shines. This guy installed a reverse osmosis water filter under our sink and a new disposal.

He did the job exceptionally well, but that's not why the 5 stars. In an era, where Yelper's routinely hand out 5 stars for showing up at the job; Shane actually earned 5 stars with his knowledge, recommendations, personable attitude, and ""beyond awesome"" cleanup of all extraneous hoses, traps, and ""puking free flow drain"" I had been living with for the last 7 years. He even came back to inspect for leaks the next day at no charge...IN. CALIFORNIA! He is very detailed oriented and really knows his plumbing.

Now, our family can drink water free from pesticides and other contaminates that the local water company is unable to remove and we can actually hold a conversation when the garbage disposal is running.

Shane saved our marriage and protected our health! Ok, that last line was sarcasm, BUT I do find myself looking for plumbing projects so I can have him back. Thank you Shane!

Shane at Good 1 Minor Plumbing was fantastic. He is from Morgan Hill, but he drove up to take care of an emergency sewage ejector pump issue we had (turns out the installers had likely left a towel in the pump that finally jammed it!). He was the most organized, put together, and cleanest plumber I have ever worked with. He was very clear and straightforward with his rates.

Summary:
Professional, honest, and great communicator. I found my new plumber. Better than Fantastic Rooter.

My issue involved a kitchen sink that would drain very slowly. Shane responded to my Yelp message within 10 minutes and was at my house within the the hour. Shane asked a couple diagnostic questions in regard to the frequency and degree of our drainage issue. We answer his question and also explained that another plumber snaked the drain a year earlier but the problem came back again.

Shane and his apprentice proceeded to the clean out the drain. Upon removal clean out cap, we could see all the gunk that has been accumulating. After snaking 75 feet of the drain, we filled the fill sink with water and observed the sink drained as expected.

At this point a normal plumber would have given me the bill and be on their way. However, Shane suggest we fill the sink a couple more times. As he was not full convinced that we cleared the drain based on well the sink drained (audibly) and through observing the vortex formation in the sink. After the 2nd or 3rd fills, the sink drain slowly again. Shane et apprentice snaked the drain again. Afterwards the sink drained faster than before. He and his team cleaned up the site nicely. Before they left, Shane offered some great tips for drain maintenance to mitigate the drain from being clogged again.

Shane is clearly an experienced plumber and has great communication skill as explained each step and his logic behind it. I would not hesitate to call him again.
